Rest in Peace Andreas Liveras. I’m sure you thought you were helping by telling what you saw. But the Betraying B****ds Company let you down.

May as well talk to the terrorists.

The BBC and CNN – where terrorists get their news apparently.

Well again, Foxnews is just as guilty for showing people in the windows of the hotel, exposing there location to the terrorist.

But it also shows how inept the Indian security was. They should have pushed all media out of the area, but they stuck around, even if it meant their own camermen would be shot at.

I am sorry, but if I am in a facility under terrorist attack and I am unarmed, phoning some news agency to give my on the scene account to the press is NOT on my list of priorities.

Hiding like a bunny is priority one, if I cannot E & E. Then expect me to be on the horn to the first person who can contact the authorities and tell them, “COME AND GET ME the **bleep** OUTTA HERE!!!”

This guy paid for his stupidity.

I can’t figure that out, either. The article specified that he called the BBC to give his eye-witness account. I don’t know about you, but I don’t happen to have western news agency numbers on speed dial. How did he call?

He’s a big shot. Probably knows people at the BBC.

Why would you ever contact the media, unless you have a very good way to use them for your own benefit? I’d certainly not put my life (or my privacy, like Joe the Plumber) in jeopardy to give them a “story”.

Andreas Liveras, 73, was gunned down moments after he phoned the BBC from inside the Taj Mahal hotel to give an eyewitness account of the terrorist attacks.

Well Mr. Liveras stuck his head up and got it shot. Second rule of a gun fight- do not be an obvious target. I wish Mr. Liveras had known better- we can expect no better from the bottom feeders of the BBC.
I carry everywhere-if my gun is not welcome neither am I.

Sebastian D’Souza, the photographer and picture editor for the Mumbai Mirror who snapped a photo seen around the world of one of the terrorists in India last week, said it all: “I only wish I had a gun, not a camera.”

Condolences Mr. D’Souza–even the best of police forces can not protect you–all they can do is respond. Terrorist, thieves, rapist and such seldom give us advanced warning.

That Every Man Be Armed–You Too ladies

Patrick Henry quote – The great object is, that every man be armed. Every one who is able may have a gun.

This is Corallary One to “Peace Through Superior Firepower.”

One also should remember one of Murphy’s Laws of Combat which states, “Try to look unimportant; the enemy might be low on ammo.”

    Make that his last mistake…

The only call he or anyone should have made was to the police.

News agencies are in the business of making money and all dead people are nothing but a headline to them, period.

Again…why was this man on the phone with a major media outlet? Did he have their number programmed into his phone? Also, is it possible that the terrorists were going to kill him regardless of who he was speaking to on his phone? He said that he had already been locked into a room with other captives. Therefore, the terrorists knew his location before he spoke to the BBC. If the terrorists locked them into a room, they obviously had plans to come back for them at some point. Blaming the media for this man’s death appears to be a major stretch.
