Palin power in Georgia; Democrats counter with…Ludacris

By Michelle Malkin  •  December 1, 2008 02:38 PM

It’s the ‘Cuda vs. Luda.

Sarah Palin traveled to Georgia to help GOP Sen. Saxby Chambliss in his tight re-election bid. The runoff’s tomorrow. Thousands turned out for her today. Let there be no doubt: Palinmania lives.

Meanwhile, Democrat challenger Jim Martin fought back with, um, rapper Ludacris, who will perform for him at a rally at the state capitol later today.

Ludracis, you say? Yeah, this Ludacris:

Lyrics:

I’m back on it like I just signed my record deal
Yeah the best is here, the Bentley Coup paint is dripping wet, it got sex appeal
never should have hated
you never should’ve doubted him
with a slot in the president’s iPod Obama shattered ‘em
Said I handled his biz and I’m one of his favorite rappers
Well give Luda a special pardon if I’m ever in the slammer
Better yet put him in office, make me your vice president
Hillary hated on you, so that bitch is irrelevant
Now Jesse talking slick and apologizing for what?
If you said it then you meant it how you want it have a gut!
and all you other politicians trying to hate on my man,
Watch us win a majority vote in every state on my man
you can’t stop what’s bout to happen, we bout to make history
the first black president is destined and it’s meant to be
the threats ain’t fazing us, the nooses or the jokes
so get off your ass, black people, it’s time to get out and vote!
paint the White House black and I’m sure that’s got ‘em terrified
McCain don’t belong in ANY chair unless he’s paralyzed
Yeah I said it cause Bush is mentally handicapped
Ball up all of his speeches and I throw em like candy wrap
cause what you talking I hear nothing even relevant
and you the worst of all 43 presidents
get out and vote or the end will be near
the world is ready for change because Obama is here!
cause Obama is here
The world is ready for change because Obama is here!

Ludicrous, indeed.

Stacy McCain has more.

BTW, I like that Mrs. P is staying active, helping Republican candidates, and keeping her name and message public.

Might be a sign that she is willing to leave the good life in Alaska in 2012 to try to save us from the Obamination.

All I want for Christmas is a change in primary rules so the first few primaries aren’t in Dem states and allow crossover voting. Because Obama will be unchallenged, and you know Markos Zuniga will send his KoSsacks to vote for the 2012 version of John McCain, a pseudo-Republican who runs from so many conservative positions he can’t realistically challenge Obama on being out of touch liberal.

So, that means a Republican speech is: “Vote for Saxby Chambliss because he stands for lower taxes, gun rights, and family values”

Oh, there are certainly other RINOs who’ll run, but McCain was unique. For that we can be thankful. OTOH, folks could always get together and vote for the 2012 version of Joe Biden. Wouldn’t that make for an interesting, albeit suicidal race?

Part of the reason is the Republican State Committee in Iowa is a total joke. They treat conservative candidates like lepers.

Iowa didn’t appreciate MCain’s vow to cut ethanol subsidies. National and State Republican committees as a whole treat true conservative candidates as lepers.

If we must have primaries, then closed ones are best. It was supposed to be that way for each party to cull their own candidates from within. Open primaries are fertile grounds for mischief.

If you must vote the other party, change your party affiliation or crossover in the general election.
