NYT’s latest illegal alien sob story
But you are a cold-hearted racist, of course, if you think illegal alien armed robbers should be banned from our country.

Well actualy I kinda feel bad for him since it was his perants who screwed up, but the rules are the rules.
Sorry dude,
His parents didn’t commit armed robbery!
I don’t feel one bit sorry for him - as he was the one who committed the armed robbery. I do feel sorry for the kids he’s initiating into the Crips in his own country.
Don’t worry though. Barky will pardon him and make sure he gets his gun back.
Well I don’t feel bad about that side of things, but his immigration status is his perants fault. I am not saying in any way he should have been allowed to stay.
Gee…I was kind of hoping that he would discover REGRET, SORROW, and SHAME…and possibly turn his life around and become a good person and a productive human being.
But that’s just me.
What other countries give foreign criminals this kind of leeway?
Seriously.
It appears that the U.S. and the U.S. laws did him a favor.
He’s just doing the thug thizzlin’ Americans won’t do.
Gee, gosh, golly, darn! I suppose he (and the articles author)feels he should be allowed to stay and his VICTIM should be deported.
30, with emphasis on the word “thug”.
None, in mexico he would have been beaten, robbed and raped before being kicked out.
That was not the worst thing in the NY Times yesterday. There was the immature antiIsrael rant by wimpish Roger Cohen. Cohen said that the citizens of Israel are swaggering “bullies” who spend their days picking on the Arabs. In contrast, the Palestinians were all sweetness and kindness. Cohen went on to say that Israelis are like children who need “tough love” from people like himself who attended Ivy League colleges and know what it best for Israel. When Cohen got done bragging about himself and how he is an Ivy Leaguer much more sophisticated than the cloddish Israelis, he said that he and his colleagues at the Times want to give the Israelis “tough love”. Interesting that the eggheads at the Times such as Kristof, Cohen, Anthony Lewis et al. have zero military experience, never venture past the west side of Manhattan and have disdain for anyone who does an honest day’s work. The conclusion of Cohen’s childish rant is that he really loves Israel and he knows what is best for Israel. I thought the NY Times might improve when Anthony Lewis was put into mothballs. But with Cohen and Kristof they have an even more elitist and snobbish crew ensconsed. Fortunately the Times stock is cratering and the company is on the way to being the journalistic version of Lehman Brothers Holdings.
NYT, pish-tush, as we used to say… You ain’t lived until you see the CRAP in The Arizona Republic since GOV JANET’s nomination to SEC OF HOMELAND SECURITY… Everyday, and I mean EVERY DAY we get a sob story about the plight of the POOR ILLEGAL (OOOPS) UNDOCUMENTED WORKER… Plus added “WHAT A GREAT GOV AUNTIE JAN HAS BEEN” (no mention of the 1 billion surplus she had when she took office, and the 2 billion deficit now)… Last, but not the least, WHAT A PISS POOR GOVERNOR JAN BREWER (our current Sec of State, a REPUBLICAN) will be… Arizona is indeed blessed, and our condolences go out to THE COUNTRY…
Did anyone see this story, from FoxNews, also lamenting immigration enforcement?
As someone who takes religious-based dietary restrictions seriously (and probably not as seriously as I should…always mean to go back to the old-school teaching of NO meat on Fridays), I feel for the Jewish people who need kosher meat.
However, this problem should not be blamed on the immigration raids, but on the employers who gave jobs to illegal immigrants.
And - more importantly - why couldn’t the plant hire some of the unemployed Americans affected by the economic downturns?
From the linked article posted by Michelle -
“He was an infant when he arrived. In fact, he was born in a refugee camp in Thailand and had never seen Cambodia before he was deported. But K.K.’s parents were simple farmers who failed to complete the citizenship process when they arrived”.
This doesn’t wash with me. Parents do dumb and shortsighted things to/with their kids all the time. If we were to implement a moratorium on law enforcement for the children whose parents had “wronged” them, we could effectively forget about enforcing about 50% of all laws in all places.
Not everybody can be a victim, and, at some point, laws have to matter…
Deport early and often.
Well if they ins had done thier jobs early on this wouldn’t even be an issue because the entire family would have been given refugee status or deported.
I once served with another officer who thought like this (Harvard grad and he made sure you knew it). He was always ready with some type of anti-Israeli quip.
He was an ass.
A NumbersUSA link for englishqueen01 above (about the same story, but from a pro-enforcement PoV):
NumbersUSA recent coverage of Agriprocessors
For once, a company manager/director/CEO is arrested and spends at least a few days behind bars (with hopefully, the prospect of many, many more…)
(sorry for going off-topic momentarily…)

I think we owe Cambodia an apology for exporting such poison to their society.
Isn’t 30 a little old for this kind of foolishness?
You should’ve heard the whining and moaning when it happened! Story after story in the Des Moines Register lamenting the plight of the illegals. Concerns gushing forth that AGP would never get back on its feet (which, if they had paid the illegals the same as Americans, they wouldn’t have had that problem). Lawmakers shocked and outraged that people who had broken the law would be punished.
Quite the circus for us Iowans, I tell you.
Isn’t it funny how people take cheating in baseball and football more seriously than cheating by companies who use illegals to help their bottom line?
Maybe AGP wouldn’t have been such a “success” if it had paid Americans to work since their business model incorporated illegal workers.
Companies that hire illegals need to feel the pain.
FamilyMan - thanks for the correction
PBoilermaker - Yes indeed. In fact, I’d say they implemented a business model that purposefully required illegal labor. (and the pending Federal charges in the case support that claim).
For everyone else’s benefit, Congressman Heath Shuler (D-NC) is planning on re-introducing his SAVE Act - which would phase-in very strict ID/authorization provisions in Federal law (and significantly bolster ENFORCEMENT!). Please help get the word out to your Congress critters to support it. If implemented, it stands to vastly shutdown the magnet of illegal employment in the country (plus other related good things…).
What is the point of them writing this garbage? Does this guy get paid to write anti-American stuff? The link at the bottom that shows some of his prior work longing for the days of the old Soviet Union were ridiculously eye opening concerning where the author’s loyalty lies.
It is truly amazing…
A man has to suffer the consequences of a serious crime he committed. He chose his actions and now must pay for it by getting caught.
Bye, bye personal responsibilty, we knew you well.
Well, look, if immigration laws don’t apply to them why should laws against armed robbery apply? We are confusing these poor people and we need to show a little compassion here.
The only responsible thing to do is to throw open the borders and welcome them all with pre-emptive pardons.
If we only learned to walk a mile in their shoes, oh wait, they probably don’t have shoes, I think we would understand these poor oppressed people a little better and then we would stop our racist condescension toward them.
Memo to the New York Times: carrying an illegal gun is not a good thing to do, regardless of your status. Damn. Some people will never learn.
Signed,
Plaxico Burress
*out*
I’ve never understood how the MSM (print or video) choose who to write about for these boo-hoo stories. The AJC down in Atlanta constantly writes this type of trash. Do they not read what they’ve written? They always seem to find the worst example. A lot of the stories would be funny if they weren’t so pathetic.
If we just call him KKK, then all the libs would love to deport him.
Just add one more K, call it a day.
i saw the story, and saw the previous story of the raid englishqueen01, et al, and the question posed by you as to whynot hire out of work auto workers is an astute one. it seems when you can get unemployment for months, you don’t really want to take a job, and for the owners, when you can’t employ slaves, you can’t afford to be a big shot in NYC. jews want kosher meats, at a cheap price, why not? locate the processing plant in ciudad juarez, and give the drug trade a viable alternative. i’ve read many a sob story that all the poor mex’s need is jobs in mexico, and they will pour back home. too bad all the evidence is that they prefer to live and work in the u.s. or stay in mexico and work in the drug trade.
I have no sympathy for criminal illegals. All illegals have broken the law and should get NOTHING except a ticket home. I am tired of all the pity party stories. My sympathy is with those who have waited patiently to come here legally, only to find that border hoppers get preference.
The AGP thing makes you wonder…if the company is willing to break immigration laws, why would we believe that they stick to Kosher laws? Or to food handling laws, organic classification, pure Angus, etc.? I think one of the most chilling aspects of the proliferation of illegals in food processing is that they signal a willingness on the part of processors to flout the laws that protect the food supply. Expecting a biological attack? Forget some bomb thingy…it’ll be in your hamburger!
I’ve heard the weirdest pessimistic predictions from McCain supporters, and some go like this - now that the “messiah” has been elected and he has a nearly bulletproof majority in Congress, amnesty is a done deal.
Forgetting for a moment that McCain is easily as bad on this issue as the Big Zero, how could anyone confuse this election as a mandate for amnesty? The issue was like kryptonite on the campaign trail for both sides, except in places where La Raza demanded oral gratification.
In a severe recession where every job is precious, any amnesty is in for one heck of a battle.
Michelle:
Forgive me, but when you refer me to a “posted in” I can’t always receive it.
In my community, broadband is not available.
My pooter is made entirely of wood and cardboard, and steam operated.
Somtimes I have to use the foot treadle of the Singer machine that my great grand mom left me to power it up.
So just print the damn thing!!!
The only deportation for that crapweasel should have been from the Court Room to a cell under the nearest prison.
The cell key should have then been melted down for steel to produce guns for legal citizens to buy and kill crapweasels like him.
Guess what I read in the Houston Chronicle the other day.
They had an article complaining about how guns bought in Houston, TX are being illegally smuggled into Mexico and used by Mexican criminals there.
A Mexican official was actually quoted as saying something to the effect of “Hey, you need to work harder at keeping your guns out of our country.”
Hey, why don’t we crack down on the border and put an end to gun and people trafficking?
Right above that article, they had a sob story about a woman who was killed by a criminal using an American gun. Hey, how about some sob stories about Americans killed by illegal immigrants? Nahhhh.
She can’t. It’s copyright infringement if she posts it in the entirety.
Oh…nevermind
(spoken in my best Emily Letella)
Can it really be true that people reading the NYT don’t get the fact that his parents are still here illegally, that he is a criminal and that they are safer with him gone from this country? /shakes head
