Determined to deny the terrorists the martyrdom they seek, Muslim organisations have written to senior Mumbai police officials as well.

“The cemetery should not allow the police to bury the nine dead terrorists in their premises,” said Ibrahim Tai, president, Muslim Council Trust.

Perhaps this will start a trend?

Muslim organisations deny burial to slain terrorists

Prachi Wagh, Mayuresh Konnur
www.ndtv.com
Tuesday, December 02, 2008 8:27 AM (Mumbai, Pune)
A grieving Mumbai mourns the dead. At least 179 Indians and foreign nationals were gunned down in cold blood in a terrorist attack that has raised controversy and several questions.

And now questions are being raised over the fate of those nine men who unleashed the carnage and were gunned by the security forces.

Muslim organisations in Mumbai have decided that Muslim cemeteries in Mumbai, where unclaimed bodies are usually buried, will not open its doors for the last rites of these urban jehadis.

"The killing of innocents is against Islam. They are bringing shame to 25 crore Muslims of India. These men are not Muslims. Why should we give them place anywhere? There is no place for them in our hearts and in our cemeteries," said Hamid Abdul Razzak, president, Dawat-e-islami.

Unprecedented events demand an unprecedented response. And this time the community has gone beyond merely condemning terrorism. It's shutting its doors on those who claim to act in their name.

Determined to deny the terrorists the martyrdom they seek, Muslim organisations have written to senior Mumbai police officials as well.

"The cemetery should not allow the police to bury the nine dead terrorists in their premises," said Ibrahim Tai, president, Muslim Council Trust.

As Mumbai reels from last week's attack, there's anger, outrage and a lot of soul searching. Among this is a community determined to keep out the prodigals.

The Indian government is now in a real pickle. They will have to spend billions of otherwise committed rupees to homeland security or go, once again, to war with Pakistan. My hope is that we are using the predator in Waziristan while India and Pakistan are at each others throats.

I’m afraid most people don’t care and find the Contitution bothersome, if not down right discriminating. It doesn’t support the feel good, everybody must get along, all cultures are equal, all customs and beliefs are on an even footing, governance should

At least 68,623,151 Americans agree with BroBama that the Constitution is but a hindrance and a set of "Negative Rights". Woodrow Wilson said pretty much the same thing. It was he who suspended Habeas Corpus and trial by jury for opposing the war. Lincoln did a nice job there.

Power does corrupt which is why the Founders KNEW we needed a Constitution. But in a society with ever more weaklings, cowards, traitors and fools words on a paper do not mean as much. All Things are Relative?

Is NOW the time for the Second American Revolution?

I’ve often wondered how the world would be today if Abraham would have simply and sternly said “NO” to Sarah when she offered her handmaiden to him..

We'd have lost the good with the bad. A small but significant percentage of Arabs have been Christians from the time of the Apostles.

The only thing that is in our favor is that our citizens have guns.

Only in some parts of the country my friend. Guess where we will be hit.

I never thought I would feel or say but: there are some areas of the country I would be less concerned about if the jihadist or some other group hit. With this last election I am definitely having qualms about just how much I should be concerned about WE and more about MINE. Actually to think about it that feeling has been growing since the 2000 election and the stunning tactics the Left used to steal it. I know it is a feeling I have to fight, but it is hard to deny it.

I am at least willing and somewhat ready to defend myself, family and neighbor. Just how concerned should I be for people who not only allow the state to disarm them but actively support that disarmament?

All the world, and American Liberals, just saw what a few armed and determined thugs could do to a disarmed city. And what is their answer to this? Disarm more honest people and make them more exposed but call the police! For forty hours it went on-if but one of those people were armed they could have stopped one thug.

When Salt Lake City has it's Mall shooting by muslim who stopped it? One man with a gun-an off duty policeman who chose to ignore that malls gun free policy. The muslim sure as hell did. In the Appalachian School of Law shooting (January 16, 2002) who stopped it? Two students who returned to their cars, retrieved their hand guns and confronted Peter Odighizuwa. Virginia Tech shooting (April 16, 2007) who stopped it? Nobody.

These people in some of our great cities and more Liberal states who wish to be disarmed and disarm their neighbors neighbors really do not deserve the sympathy nor support of those of us willing and hopefully ready to defend ourselves. Disarmed Chicago is a whole lot more violent than open carry/concealed carry Phoenix.

This malice "let the government do it" is a soul sickness creeping through every aspect of our society and lives. The same people bringing us the bailout are generally the same people who want our guns and regulate the transfat at MickyD. Just how concerned should I be for these people?

If the jihadist do hit a school, mall or other venue I am sure a President Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder, Secretary of Homeland Security J-No, Pelosi and Reid would be right on it--after a nice study.

People are getting concerned after hearing President-elect Barack Obama's statements about gun rights at the Democratic primary debate in Pennsylvania last April. Obama said, "As a general principle, I believe that the Constitution confers an individual right to bear arms. But just because you have an individual right does not mean that the state or local government can't constrain the exercise of that right, in the same way that we have a right to private property but local governments can establish zoning ordinances that determine how you can use it.

constrain the exercise of that right--I think I shall worry about me and mine.
