Did you know that Sarah Palin-haters are still trying to prove she didn’t give birth to her youngest son, Trig? These tinfoil hat-wearers are as obnoxious and unhinged as the 9/11 Truth cultists who insist that America engineered the jihadi attacks on itself. The presidential campaign may be over, but there’s no expiration date on Palin Derangement Syndrome.
Jack Bogdanski, a law professor at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, stirred up Trig Trutherism again this week with a post on his website exposing “Sarah Palin’s fake pregnancy belly.” Armed with frontal photos of Palin’s stomach, Professor Bogdanski declared: “The March 26 photo is the smoking gun. There really is no chance that there’s a baby in there who will be born 23 days later at six pounds birth weight. And there really is no chance that the child grew so suddenly over the following two weeks…Sarah Palin is not the mother.”
We’re all obstetricians now!
This nonsense began with left-wing Internet rumors that Gov. Palin was really Trig’s grandmother and that she was covering up for the “real” mother of Trig – her teenage daughter, Bristol. The conspiracy was hyped by The Atlantic’s resident excitable womb-chaser, Andrew Sullivan, and later amplified by “respectable” journalists like CNN/Washington Post media reporter Howard Kurtz. As the fever swamps roiled, an Alaska TV reporter, Cherie Shirey, stepped forward to squash the paranoia with a statement to the liberal Huffington Post:
“These internet rumors are very bizarre. We worked with Governer Palin many times in 2008. Our reporters worked her on location and in the studio and I worked with her myself. She was definitely pregnant. You could see it in her belly and her face. The whole idea that Sarah Palin wasn’t pregnant with Trig is completely, absolutely absurd.”
Shirey was ignored. Profile shots of a heavily pregnant Palin taken in April 2008 didn’t satisfy the Fake Belly! mob, either. The disclosure that Bristol was in fact pregnant with her teenage boyfriend’s child did not quell the insanity. Neither did a health assessment from Gov. Palin’s personal physician affirming her five pregnancies nor did contemporaneous hospital accounts of the birth nor did Palin’s accounts of nursing Trig.
It’s only a matter of time before someone accuses Palin of planting fake breast milk on her pump.
The plain truth will never mollify a Truther. There’s always a convoluted excuse – some inconsequential discrepancy to seize on, some photographic “evidence” to magnify into a blur of meaningless pixels – that will rationalize irrationality. Palin could produce Trig’s umbilical cord and it still wouldn’t be enough.
Alas, Trutherism thrives on both the left and right. Which brings us to the spate of lawsuits challenging President-elect Barack Obama’s U.S. citizenship. On Friday, the U.S. Supreme Court considers one of those suits filed by New Jersey citizen Leo Donofrio, who maintains that Obama is not a “natural born citizen” because his father held British citizenship.
There may be a seed of a legitimate constitutional issue to explore here (how is the citizenship requirement enforced for presidential candidates, anyway?) And at least Donofrio concedes that Obama was born in Hawaii. But a dangerously large segment of the birth certificate hunters have lurched into rabid Truther territory. The most prominent crusader against Obama’s American citizenship claim, lawyer Philip Berg (who, not coincidentally, is also a prominent 9/11 Truther), disputes that Obama was born in Hawaii and claims that Obama’s paternal grandmother told him she saw Obama born in Kenya.
Berg and his supporters further assert that the “Certification of Live Birth” produced by Obama was altered or forged. They claim that the contemporaneous birth announcement in a Hawaii newspaper of Obama’s birth is insufficient evidence that he was born there. (Did a fortune-teller place it in the paper knowing he would run for president?). And they accuse anyone who disagrees with them of being part and parcel of the grand plan to install Emperor Obama and usurp the rule of law.
I believe Trig was born to Sarah Palin. I believe Barack Obama was born in Hawaii on U.S. soil. I believe fire can melt steel and that bin Laden’s jihadi crew – not Bush and Cheney – perpetrated mass murder on 9/11. What kind of kooky conspiracist does that make me?

Here’s an excerpt of Philip Berg’s 9/11 Truther manifesto for all of you who have made him your new hero:
“It is time for the nations of the world to come forth and take the leadership because of the failure of the United States Government and the States where crimes were committed on 09/11/01, where no thorough investigation and indictments occurred, to investigate, arrest and prosecute the people responsible for the murders on 9/11/01, specifically including George W. Bush and Richard Cheney. ”
“Bush and his cronies made 9/11 happen or let it happen. And, if they let it happen, then they made it happen. Either way, they are responsible; and more important, they have completely and unequivocally covered-it-up!”
…That an event such as 9/11 was desired by powerful Administration figures, including Cheney and Jeb Bush, the President’s brother, is a matter of record, as the Project for the New American Century’s [PNAC] blueprint for worldwide U.S. dominance entitled “Rebuilding America’s Defenses,” stated that the program they advocated could win popular support only with the help of a “catastrophic and catalyzing event, like a new Pearl Harbor” which (we are supposed to believe to be coincidence) came to pass just 8 months after many of the co-signers of the PNAC document assumed high positions in the new Bush Administration in January 2001.
As President John F. Kennedy stated, “Things do not just happen; they are made to happen.” There has never been an investigation of 9/11 that had not concluded, before it even began, that the Official Story convicting Osama bin Laden and absolving the Administration and the military of complicity of anything worse than “intelligence failures,” which thereby made the outcome a foregone conclusion.
It is time that the men who had the motive, means and the opportunity to commit the terrible crimes of 9/11, and who have profited by it politically as well as financially, be exposed for their role and held to account.
The world has suffered since the horrific acts of Bush and his cronies on 9/11, that being the events of 9/11 and the aftermath, the illegal act of war against Afghanistan and Iraq that has caused the death and injury of hundreds of thousands, including thousands of U.S. troops; the destruction of property and the enormous costs involved.
Saddam was tried, found guilty and sentenced to death after being convicted of murder in the killings of 148 Shiite Muslims from an Iraqi town where assassins tried to kill him in 1982. This number of killings that Saddam Hussein was found guilty of is far less than Bush and his cronies caused to die on 9/11.
The 148 Iraqi deaths for which Saddam was tried pales in number to the 750,000 dead at the hands of George W. Bush as a result of this illegal invasion of that country which includes babies, sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, elderly grandmothers and grandfathers, killed without remorse by George W. Bush and his war profiteering supporters.
Bush continues the war in Iraq to keep the world’s attention there and not on the atrocities caused by him on 9/11, including the possibility of Bush sending up to 40,000 more troops to Iraq, even though a majority of the American people are against this increase.
The world must act now because our own government has failed us. We cannot relent until real justice is reached. Only by exposing the truth of 9/11 and revealing how it was used as the “trigger event” to justify the neocon’s imperial policy can we put these events in proper prospective.”

I know the ‘birth certificate’ issue will go nowhere, but may I ‘Hope?’
I wish I knew the Palin’s personally, They’re my kind of folks. Truthers on the other hand are vermin scum and really need to get a life.
Just because Mr. Berg is a 9/11 lunatic doesn’t automatically mean he’s blowing smoke about BHO’s Constitutional qualifications for the office to which he’s been elected. Remember, BHO has rendered a large portion of his personal file “off limits” to examination. Among those documents are some of his and Michelle’s collegiate papers and his official, original certificate of live birth. I also believe I read where the State of Hawaii will issue “birth certificates” to people not born in Hawaii and that two hospitals on Oahu have no record of his mother ever being a patient. All Mr. Berg is asking is that the SCOTUS examine the documents to settle once and for all BHO’s Constitutional qualification. To my mind that’s a whole lot different than running around screaming, “The government did it!” and it should be de riguer for every Presidential election.
Palin is the left’s worst nightmare. She will continue to gather crowds. Get over it lefties, she won’t be disappearing! She will be the real change not the current pres-elect.
I was surprised that the Supreme Court even agreed to hear the case. My reaction was the same as yours; if his citizenship is found to be false, what is the remedy? Does anyone actually thing SCOTUS would put itself in the position of being accused of trying reverse two of the last three elections?
I believe that the vast majority of “truthers” are self loathing homosexuals, not that there’s anything wrong with that.
First- he’s lawyer
Second–he’s at lewis and clark
Third– he’s an idiot
But then, I repeat myself
The 911 conspiracy theories are discreditied by a lot of video and audio. Even if that wasn’t available, speculation will continue forever since most of what those people claim can never be proven to the point of satisfying the biggest majority who believe 911 was perpetrated by the U.S. Govt.
The Sarah Palin story speaks for itself. There is so much evidence that Trig is hers that you know these people have PDS and that alone.
As to Obama’s Birth Certificate, that is an easily verifiable fact if only Obama would release the vault copy of his birth certificate and put the rumors to rest.
Why spend lots of money blocking the court cases? Why stonewall? It gives the impression he has something to hide.
John McCain was forth-coming with his Birth Certificate when challenged. My wife was forth coming with her birth certificate when she was required to have a certified copy (not a photocopy without a raised seal) for a passport. My wife and I were required to show a birth certificate to enroll our children in school. Why is Obama exempt?
I don’t believe Palin/911 conspiracy theorists can be compared to those who legitimately want Obama to prove his birth on U.S. soil. And there is the issue of who has standing to verify that someone is qualified for an office that is spelled out in the Constituion? If not an average citizen, then who?
I really don’t like referring to these people as “truthers”. The word should mean someone seeking the truth. Why turn it into a negative word? Call them something else.
The same with the way “swiftboating” has become negative. I personally feel the “Swiftboaters”, a group of honorable men, did this country a service by exposing the true John Kerry. I hope we will always have “Swiftboaters” that will come forward when the need arises.
And yet when people like me argue for the return of long-term incarceration in mental hospitals for people like this, we’re the bad guys.
Then again, I’m willing to compromise. Let us have dart guns full of thorazine and a no bag limit on Truthers.
That’s a truther-style argument. Why does the reason it was placed there have to have been for a conspiracy inspired future presidential run? It doesn’t. But using that argument makes the idea sound unbelievable. Maybe, like in the case of my niece who was born in Japan, his grandparents placed a birth announcement in the local paper. They didn’t do it because they foresaw a future presidential run.
Obama could have ended this years ago when it first came up during his Illinois campaigns. He didn’t then, and he still isn’t. He could end it today. He won’t. Instead, he fights it every step of the way. I, for one, would like to know why.
Keep it coming morons. You’ll just makes us more determined to unify the party with quality people like Sarah. We’re a 50 million conservative voter base. Piss us off more and you’ll just make that number bigger.

Nope, there are WAY too many questions on the Obama issue for me. Just show me the original long form birth certificate, the certificate of live birth means nothing, same with a birth announcement. We do know he was born. And I also want to see he had not relinquished is citizenship along the way (as indicated by Indonesian school enrollment and trip to Pakistan when illegal for U.S. passport carrying to enter) so I need to see those college records and any other pertinent records like registration for selective service.
It’s not just a natural born proof thing for me. I also want to know if his two self-fawning auto-bios were based on truth or fiction. i.e. I want to know if the guy is for real or is a fake.
I do not think this is too much to ask from a citizen of the free U.S. of her president elect. Actually I wanted to know it before the election of course and for obama to have withheld all of above is a fraud it itself.
Michelle, I stand corrected on John McCain but I still feel there is a legitimate need for proof of Obama’s eligibility per the Constitution.
People may not like the clause. People may not want to enforce the requirement stipulated in the Constitution, but it still remains in the Constitution and should not be glossed over or ignored because it would cause some undue hardship and there isn’t an easy solution.
If Obama was born in Hawaii, it is easy enough for him to produce the vault copy of the Birth Certificate. Is it his pride? Is he proving a point? Why not do something that will dispel a rumor as quickly as possible?
If it turns out he was not a natural born citizen, then Obama has no one to blame but himself for perpetrating this falsehood on the country.
I never believed the BHO CLB document that they put up on the BHO web site because the labels and the entries were exactly the same text font as though it was all printed out. The entries should at least ‘look’ like they were typed in with a typewriter shouldn’t they?

It’s sad, sad world…
There are so many people out there who cling to their beliefs no matters what factual evidence is presented. Just look at the global warming crowd.
I believe it to be an indication of where we are as a society. In courtrooms across our land, logic fails routinely. Trial lawyers pluck the emotional strings of the jury and out comes huge rewards for the plaintiffs ignorant or stupid actions.
Now several people convince a compliant media that they have answers to non-issues. The members of the media (lazy and/or just insipid)report the theories as if they have gravitas. This does nothing more but encourage the loons, causing the production of more theories even more devoid of logic than the previous ones.
It wasn’t long ago, these conspiracy kooks would have been branded what they are…the village idiots.
If anyone asks me, I will produce the original of my birth certificate. And I’m not running for, nor have I been elected to higher office.
So would most of you.
I think the big flap over this may have something to do with the fact that at least half this country doesn’t believe a word that crawls out of this man’s mouth, and have seized upon the BC thing as a manifestation of that doubt, and as a possible way to right a wrong.
Personally, I don’t believe anything will come of it.
Well, before we jump to any conclusions, I suggest it’s wise to first rule out spawned and cloned.
Michelle, one more tidbit on John McCain producing a birth certificate.
I don’t believe the comparisons are the same at this juncture. The location of John McCain’s birth is not in question. It was his status as a natural born citizen because he was born on a military base to two U.S. Citizens in a differnt country.
If it were established that Barack Obama was born in Kenya, then the questions that were related to John McCain would then be asked of Obama. Was he born to two U.S. Citizens? Was he born on U.S. property such as a military base or embassy compound? Does he meet the “natural” born requirement?
We’re just trying to establish for sure where he was born at this time since there have been so many questions and facts that are in dispute.
Michelle, that Washington Post article wherein the McCain camp had not yet released his birth certificate is from May of this year.

Where did the copy floating around the internet come from? Perhaps from a response to a discovery motion in Hollander or another case. I am not sure.
I love conspiracies but history is written by the victors.
I do not consider myself a “truther”, but I see no valid reason for Obama to not present his birth certificate. Someone running for the highest office in the land should have no problem doing so. Otherwise the question will always remain – what is/was he hiding?
Indeed, that is at the very root of the question on my mind concerning the character, (or lack thereof), of the kind of person who would attempt to deceive on such a grandiose scale. Such seems to match BHO to a ‘T’. Only someone with a COLLOSAL ego and zero moral value could do something like this if it is true. He did refer to our Constitution as a collection of “negative liberties” – was he thinking of himself when he said that?
I don’t get the BHO thing. His mother was an American citizen. Even if he was born abroad he should be a natural born American citizen. McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone and only a few lefty truthers made an issue about that. Franklin Delano Roosevelt was born in Canada and his mother tried to hide it but it didn’t matter his parents were natural born citizens so he was born a natural born citizen. Oh yes, George Romney (Mitt’s father) was born in Mexico to natural born US citizens and while it was something of an issue in the 1968 campaign I don’t think anyone seriously thought he wasn’t a natural born citizen.
I don’t care for BHO but this issue will go nowhere.

If Obama has nothing to hide, why is he hiding? His actions make me suspicious. As others have said, he could easily end the rumors by producing the documents he is obligated by the Constitution to produce and that the American people have a right to see. The burden is on the candidate to prove his eligibility.
Michelle, at the risk of sounding like a libtard, I take great offense at being lumped with “troofers” on the birth-certificate issue, esp. by you.
His grandmother says she was at his birth in Kenya and he refuses to produce the document. We know he’s a fraud and poseur in just about every other respect there is, so why wouldn’t a sane person question this considering the above facts?
And no, I doubt the Supreme Court would do anything to negate the election, but it serves (to date) as the worst example of those most trusted to uphold the Constitution choosing to ignore it for political expedience. On the most egregious level, the Supremes are subverting it.
Treating our founding document as a mere piece of paper has set our country down the road to ruin, and the head subverter will surely speed things along starting on 1/20. But now, we wouldn’t want to upset the apple cart and upset the libs, would we?
Wow! Reading Berg’s “manifesto” hurt my head. How can anyone be so stupid? (rhetorical question, no need to answer) Same thing goes with that nutty professor!
As for BHO’s birth records, I feel the need to find out why he deems it necessary to hide the truth about said records. What is the truth? What is he hiding?
I hope the SCOTUS takes up the case just to force him to admit whatever he is hiding. If they decide not to, then another piece of our beloved Constitution will end up in the trash bin of history.

You know the old saying…tell one lie, tell another…they just keep on getting bigger and bigger.
It could very well be that the first lie began in 1961 with the possible coverup of where this man took his first breath, which leads us to this point. Not that there were any great aspirations for his future, but merely for a citizenship reason or sponsorship to get back on to US soil. Don’t know.
However, we conservatives are naturally curious about almost anything that comes forth from Democrats, and moreso from Radical Liberals.

When I saw Michelle’s title and her columm, I was confused. Then I read the above comments.
Do I get it now, Michelle? You betcha.
Let’s suppose that you are a US citizen. You go to Kenya to try to talk your baby’s daddy into coming back and be a family. By the time you give it up that he’s coming back, you are too pregnant (or even already in labor) to fly. So your child is born in Kenya – which you’ve come to loath because your Kenya hubby ain’t coming home.
You have the baby in Kenya, fly back to the US, place newspaper announcements and apply for a Hawaii Certificate of Birth.
This is all within the realm of realistic possibility and it doesn’t mean seeing into the future, only the desire that your child have US Citizenship (which the mother could not convey to her child because she was only 18).
I don’t believe one has to be a “truther” or a conspiracy theorist to at least question the facts surrounding Obama’s birth. Add to that that Obama and the DNC have spend thousands of dollars fighting this suit instead of pulling a vaulted copy of the birth certificate with a doctor’s signature and the like.
Next, just tell us how Obama traveled to Pakistan in the 1980s (I think it was 1984). He could not do so with a US passport which means he must have another passport. How and why?

almiller, it has to do with the fact that only one parent was an American citizen. In that case the other parent (the citizen) would have had to reside in the US for at least 5 years over the age of 14 and Obama’s mother was too young at the time of his birth for this to be so. At least this is what I have understood. Maybe someone else can confirm.
I was totally skeptical about this at first, but the more I read about it, the more questions I would like to ask Mr. Obama. I am less curious about his Birth Cert than his school records, actually. I really want to know what he is hiding there.

Perhaps one correction Michelle, fire only needs to soften steel (anneal), to contribute to the initiation of a collapse and I for one don’t believe it got hot enough to melt steel because there wouldn’t have been enough oxygen available.

Texas T — You are correct about residency and citizenship. My parents were married at the end of WWII — Mom was a British soldier (Royal Artillery) Dad was a US soldier (US artillery). They returned to the US and my older brother was born 3 years later and is a US citizen. I was born in England 18 months later (Mom had come home to visit family while Dad earned his commission) and I had dual citizenship because Mom had not yet lived in the US 5 years and couldn’t complete her requirements for citizenship. So, when I turned 18, I had to declare and I chose US.
I have ALL the paperwork to include a State Department certificate that I was born in the UK and my UK birth certificate. Were I to run for POTUS or any other office, I would gladly show it as I am proud of my heritage.
That said, what is BHO’s problem?

Reading the column and the excerpt from Philip Berg got me thinking of Oliver Stone’s flick JFK. I saw some of that last night (I didn’t have anything else to do!) and the constant clinging to “inconsequential discrepancies” Stone’s protagonists do ends up resulting in the most fantastic and lambasted theory about Kennedy’s assassination ever brought up. Some things never change, I guess.
I conceder it suspicious that Obama won’t produce his birth certificate, BUT All this conspiracy talk is hurting our cause. Millions of people look at our Michelle’s blog. It is of the utmost importance that we as conservatives come across as rational, logical leaders whom others will feel comfortable with. The new conservative movement must have in it people of value and with ideas that work. Going off the deep end with what ifs will only make things harder for us.

Several months ago I put some time in finding out how many times I had to produce my birth certificate:
1) When I first entered school-as I was six I imagine my parents did it.
2) When I applied for High School sports.
3) When I applied for College-aka Arizona Resident.
4) When I entered the US Army
5) When considered for a security clearance in the Army (National Security Agency Check)
6) When I applied for a passport (Form DS-11)
7) Several times when buying Life Insurance.
Just what is the problem? Is Barack Hussein Obama a Natural Born Citizen or not? There is a Constitution issue here and there is nothing petty or minor about it. And every time a Trig Truther opens their mouth we bring this up. Jack Bogdanski, a law professor at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, should not be allowed to look at photographs-he sees and hears things not there! Michelle and Hot Air made a commitment to taking a side in this issue back in July, when Obama’s camp passed some image files of a HI COLB to Markos of KOS and the Annenberg funded FactCheck.org.
KOS is rabidly partisan for Obama. FactCheck.org has showed itself by many postings to be partisan for Obama — even though it purports to be nonpartisan.
When the proffered COLB image came to be questioned by a number of people, Michelle Malkin and Hot Air took the side of Obama, and mocked, derided and attemped to marginalize those who questioned the COLB, and Obama’s birth legends.
At that point it wasn’t clear that Obama would be elected.
Yet here it is some half a year later, and the issue is standing before the Supreme Court.

I can’t speak to the birth certificate issue, but the fact remains that Hope-a-Dope is a man who hasn’t been forthcoming about a lot in his past, and the only reason he has gotten away with such selective reticence is because the media arm of the donkey party refuses to do their jobs when it comes to checking him out.
It’s a safe bet that if he were a Republican, the media bloodhounds would have tracked down his dealer from his cocaine-snorting days and ran front-page, top-of-the-fold stories for weeks on what they found out.
Or they would’ve followed Dan Rather’s and Mary Mapes’ lead, and simply made stuff up about the topic.
It’s a safe bet that if he were a Republican who refused to disclose his academic transcripts from Columbia and Harvard … or how he managed to become president of the Harvard Law Review without writing anything of substance while in law school … or how he snagged a Constitutional law professorship without having any scholarly articles published beforehand … or how his wife got a six-figure salary increase after he became a US senator … the media would’ve relentlessly investigated these questions.

They’ve done it before: Newsweek had the Monica Lewinsky story long before Drudge did, and they spiked it. “War Hero” John Kerry refused (and still refuses) to release his military records, and the media looked up at the ceiling and whistled.
Now they’re blocking for Hope-a-Dope.
A coordinated, media-abetted “off-limits” policy surrounding a (donkey) presidential candidate’s or president’s awkward details inevitably leads some to suspect a Conspiracy of Silence.
Maybe Hope-a-Dope was born in Hawaii. I don’t know. But his dodgy behavior in semi-answering the question — when he could quickly, easily and decisively put it to rest — coupled with his other examples of refusal to provide details about his past — means that he brings the conspiracists upon himself.

To address your question about who determines the eligibility of a person to become President, it appears that for all practical purposes the job of vetting candidates has fallen to the political parties that put forth the candidate! This is clearly problematic — as numerous posters have said, in order to get a driver’s license, get a government security clearance, etc., one has to show evidence of US citizenship through a birth certificate.
Just try to get away with telling the U.S. government that they should “believe you” when you tell them you are a US citizen when you apply for a security clearance. They will laugh in your face!
The fact that the Supreme Court is once again getting involved in a Presidential election is purely the fault of the Democratic Party for putting up a candidate with questionable citizenship. While they will, of course, blame the Republicans for this mess (how the Republican Party has anything to do with this problem is a mystery to me), should the Supreme Court decide that Obama is indeed, ineligible for office, the 20th Amendment to the Constitution becomes effective, making Joe Biden President of the United States.
Now, THAT’S a scary thought.

3. Kenyan (see BNA of 1948 above, plus Obama’s own website) He no longer has Kenyan citizenship (his website says “his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982″)

I’m beginning to think that the only reason why Michelle and other posters here are willing to look over BHO’s birth certificate is to not be lumped in with nutjobs like Ron Paul. Unfortunately, they’re not willing to ensure that the President fully meets all of the Constitutional requirements in order to be eligible for the office merely because of appearances. That’s a problem!
BHO’s birth certificate issue is a legitimate case. If he is not a natural born citizen as the Constitution CLEARLY says he has to be, Barack is unqualified to be in office! Hell, if you want to look over this issue just so you can appear “normal” or “non-radical”, you might as well use the Constitution as toilet paper. If you wanted to be consistent, you also wouldn’t care if they changed or eradicated the 1st and 2nd Amendments.

You need to understand the difference between a Certification of Live Birth and a Certificate of Live Birth. (You can be born dead, too.)
A Certificate of Live Birth means the state can prove that you were born alive within the borders of the state. The name of the hospital, the attending physician, etc., are on the certificate. It’s very thorough.
A Certification of Live Birth means the state cannot prove where you were born. However, they will give you certification that you were born alive, somewhere, and just pretty much take your parents’ word for it that you were born were they said.
Check your own and those of your children. You and they have a Certificate of Live Birth. I do and so do my wife and children.
Barack Obama does NOT have a Birth Certificate! He has a certification of live birth. It is NOT the same thing!

For what it’s worth, it would make life much easier if Obama produced the vault copy of his birth certificate and it showed he was born in Hawaii. It would stop the wondering and the doubt and settle it once and for all.
I believe it is much easier to settle this question of eligibilty now rather than later in order to stop all the lawsuits that may come about while there is still a question. The problem and solution becomes more complex if it’s not settled early.
