I think we should demand Andrew Sullivan immediately produce evidence that he is not Arianna Huffington. If he has such proof, he should not object to presenting it.

And this is just asking questions, like a good journalist should. There’s nothing deranged about asking people to produce evidence to answer questions, is there?

I would say he rightly recognized Bush’s phony conservatism…but yes I think he is wrong on this Palin case.

We true conservatives recognized the unhinged 9/11 truthers attached to his campaign. (They attacked Rudy on the docks of mackinac island, for example, claiming he planned 9/11.) Not to mention his racist , conspiracy-riddled newsletter series. And there’s also his “New World Order” theory- about the New American Union.

The easiest way to disprove these conspiracy theories is to consider what would be required for them to be true. Palin’s doctor, along with a good number of Mat-Su Regional’s doctors, nurses, and administrators would need to be in on the cover-up. On multiple occasions Palin would have had to pad her belly to make herself look pregnant. She would have needed to get friends to lie about seeing her breast feed. She would have had to silence an entire community – including two 17-year-olds and their friends – while the national media and the National Enquirer snooped around. Implausible to say the least.

Remember, though, the looney left still think George Bush destroyed the World Trade Center with a controlled explosion. Compared to that, faking a pregnancy is like, well, taking candy from a baby.

They won’t have to work too hard, because 90% of pregnancies with a Downs diagnosis end in abortion already.

Of course, the fact that for every 1 abortion performed on a Downs baby, 3 healthy children are aborted because of misdiagnosis.

If feminists were honest, and remained true to their roots, Sarah Palin is the epitome of the feminists’ cause: a wife, a mother, a successful career. All the things feminists say they want women to do Palin’s doing, but they still don’t like her because she chooses to be a conservative!

Which means feminism and liberalism are not about choices freely made, but about keeping people (especially women) under the thumb of the DNC.

Really? When? The only faint words of critique I saw were of Palin’s populist message against greed (which Malkin excused as what it takes to win) and Palin’s not being able to name one Supreme Court case besides Roe (which she also excused as being outside her appeal).

What a vulgar straw-man argument. You are using this child as a rhetorical weapon to attack people you disagree with. You should be ashamed.

Being “pro-choice” means respecting whatever choice a pregnant woman decides to make. I happen to have a good friend who dropped out of college to have a Downs Syndrome child at 18 years old. And you know what? She is pro-choice.

If anyone has ever said Sarah Palin “should have” aborted Trig, please quote this person and provide a source. Fabricating this information and attributing it to any and everyone who is pro-choice is sloppy, misinformed, and utterly shameless.

Do remember that Sullivan rightly recognized Ron Paul as true conservative…if only everyone else (Malkin, Coulter, etc) also recognized that then we would be looking forward for Ron Paul office inauguration now.

A lunatic calling himself a conservative recognizes a fellow lunatic calling himself a conservative …and the idea that Ron Paul could either get elected or be anything less than an incompetent lunatic president …also lunatic.

I’m going to be bad on this one.

Andrew will not be satisfied until he, no way to put this delinquently, replaces Trig and gets a free meal from Sarah Palin.

I just think it would be super cool if we could go one thread regarding Andrew Sullivan without making note of his (totally irrelevant) homosexuality and/or HIV status.

Ok, I can live with that, but what I want to know is: was he an adopted child?

Just kidding. It seems like many people have to always add that usually irrelevant qualifier.

I think the word you’re looking for is “awesome,” as in “Bjork if f’ing awesome.”

That’s as close as I’m feeling to debating today. Hope you’re all feeling well.

Agreed. Take out HIV status and I’d like to see the same thing for Barney Frank. There’s so much to criticize with those two that’s got nothing to do with being gay.

Maybe if Randy Andy could go for one day without reminding the world he was teh ghey, it would be possible to discuss him without bringing up his orientation.

I must be dim. I didn’t know A Sullivans sexual

became bored. He’s a one trick pony (no pun) in my

I just think that too many people would have had to be
involved in a coverup for Sarah Palin to have faked her
darling baby’s birth. Two people can keep a secret if
    one of them is dead.

ssshh—RSS does not know of such things yet. Storks and Sugar plum Fairies and such. When he grows up he wants to be Arianna Huffington/Andrew Sullivan-the rump ranger?

I begged the McCain campaign by private email and in a private meeting to give me something – anything – to kill the story off. I promised to run any evidence that would blow this out of the water. That offer still stands. Please make me look like an idiot for asking these questions.

I hardly think that this abusive, woman-hating, fem-phobic, worthless sack of phltgm shoved into a human suit, low foreheaded, mono-brow, monosyllabic, knuckle-dragging, window licker requires the former McCain Campaign, Governor Palin or anyone else to make “IT” look any more like an “idiot” than “IT” is doing all be “IT’S” self.

However, “idiot” is not the descriptive word that I would, have or am using or thinking of.

The online “Merriam Webster” dictionary defines the word I would, have and am using thusly:

: a stupid, incompetent, or detestable person busually vulgar

It is an exit to the human body used to expel waste products. Amazingly enough, he thinks with, talks out of, sits on and keeps at least one thumb warmed constantly with it as well. Amazing.
