Read about how John McCain stood by the side of Juan Hernandez, open-borders radical.

Good riddance to both.

THAT is what lost the election for him! He WAS himself! When he put Sarah Palin out front, his poll numbers rose. When he went out front, they went down.

When will the Republican left ever learn that?

Exactly. Afterall, how did B HUSSEIN Obama win? By promising tax cuts, claiming to be a devout Christian, and claiming he supports the right to keep and bear arms. All, supposedly, conservative issues.

God Bless and thanks for his service as a pilot and what he went through as a POW. But that was generations ago. It is my belief is was his immigration stand, foul mouth and hot temper that caused millions of people to sit on their vote.
I did vote for the man–but strictly on the rebound and fear of the Obamination.

I can’t stand John McCain…never could. I voted for him out of fear. I prayed very hard for him to win. In hindsight, I think God knew what He was doing by not letting McCain win. He would have been a HORRIBLE president. Yes, Obama is scary. But McCain is creepy. I wish I never had to set eyes on him again! And it is true…whenever the left wants to win an election, they know they have to lean right. Why is that? Because the majority of people in this country believe in conservative values and the left knows it! We simply cannot allow the media to pick our candidate next time!!

I voted McCain because I thought O’Boingo was the bigger turkey. But I think McCain was the most awful Republican candidate I’ve ever seen, and no doubt he would have been a terrible president. I thought probably just not as terrible as The Zero.

Anyway, we’re screwed with the Zero now, but we need to make sure that the 2012 Primary process isn’t coopted by Demoncraps and the midstream media. I don’t know about anybody else, but I’d really like to see a ticket with Romney and Palin on it.

I am also getting pretty disgusted with some of the so-called “right wing” pundits and commentators, for instance Fred Barnes! Saturday on the Beltway Boys he said something disparaging about the “anti-immigration crowd” like we are against ALL immigration. I just can’t stand it when they lump all immigration together, both legal and illegal. We are not anti-immigration. We are anti-ILLEGAL immigration. Why can’t even the supposedly intelligent people get that right? It’s just like the global warming comments. These people are stuck in a rut of misinformation and just spit it out like they are so deeply programmed they can’t get it right! Global warming is not happening, nor is legal immigration the same as illegal immigration. The people out there who are supposedly speaking for the “right” are just as brainwashed as the left is! We still have people like Michelle, Rush, and Michael Steele who still get it. But we have lost a lot of our voices to the PC crowd. Very troubling.

32 percent of the 169 million registered voters in the United States in 2008 were registered as Republicans. This is about 55 million votes that should have gone to McCain.
There were about 15.2 million Hispanic voters that participated in the 2008 election. After much pandering only 33 percent of Hispanics voted for McCain. This gave McCain about 5 million Hispanic votes. If McCain alienated only 10 percent of the Republican base because of Juan Hernandez and other Hispandering, he would have lost a net of more than half a million votes. Looking through Rasmussen’s 2008 issue polls, the 10 percent figure is probably low. Message to GOP: Hispandering and RINO strategies do not and will not win elections. Wake up!

Even if it had worked, it still would not have won the election for McCain – see this.

    Money quote:

McCain won 55% of the white vote. Had he been able to tick this up to 60%, he’d be set to be sworn in as the 44th President in January. McCain also won 31% of the Hispanic vote. Had his support among Hispanics been swapped with Obama’s, so that McCain took 67% of the Hispanic vote and Obama only garnered 31%, he’d nonetheless remain a Senator from Arizona, coming up short in the Presidential contest.
