Anti-Prop. 8 activists will “call in gay”
Terrific.
First, the tolerance bullies work to get other people fired from their jobs for donating to the Prop. 8 traditional marriage ballot measure.
Then, the anti-Prop. 8 mobsters all decide to take off work themselves and “call in gay” to prove how indispensable they are to the economy.
“Day Without a Gay” commences tomorrow.
If this goes anything like those “Days Without an Illegal Alien” events went, we’ll survive.

It sounds like you might have grounds for a sexual harrassment complaint if you politely tell him you aren’t interested in listening to his personal life.
If he further tells you stories of his latest conquest, then report him to HRO and of course DOCUMENT everything.
It was documenting everything from my final military command that kept me from losing my pension, and what made it worse-the falsely “outed” me from a closet that I was never in.

Seriously, unwanted conversation about a co-worker’s sex life must fall into the same category as unwanted advances. If you ask him to please keep his escapades to himself and he insists on continuing to talk about it with you, I think you have grounds to sue.

Essentualy what the gay comunity is saying is they don’t give a damn about anyone elses views but thier own. There can be a tryany of the minority as well.
LGM makes one post and leaves. Then there are 50 posts giving him exactly what he wants: attention. You guys know he’s laughing at you, right?
Look- if people are tired of being paid for work they barely do anyway, why interfere with that? Let them get fired. Reward those who come in to work with HUGE Christmas bonuses. Have the anti-Proposition 8 bullies stick THAT in their stocking.
If a person “experimented” in summer camp, can they come in an hour late?

The sad thing is that I see the tyranny of the minority on a daily basis when it comes to a vocal segment of them demanding set asides and the like. Of course there is always the perpetual victimhood that never gets old.
Try to bring up the current racial injustices of today in a sociology, english or psych class and you see the moonbats come unhinged.
I can’t wait until rev. jermiah wright gets here next semester.

This is great!! Instead of taking the train in, the commute by car will be easy! Plenty of parking too.
Another thought:
Since when do the gay activists who run these things have actual jobs?
So that means that all the coffee houses and antique stores will be pretty busy tomorrow.
More companies need to update their time-off policies to be like my consulting company’s: we have personal time, not vacation and separate sick time. So if you want to “call in”, feel free to use some personal time.
That would be the end of these little stunts.

Common Sense – our company offers vacation, sick and personal time. We offer personal time so no one has to be in a position to lie about being sick so they can take care of their kid. But now that you mention it, and with the way HIPA laws are often misinterpreted, we should call it all personal time. I think I’ll call a meeting…

Another lie from LGM. The mormon church will not allow gay marriage even if the state tries to force it. 30, 90, 1000 years it will not matter because it is a religous principle. Hate filled people like LGM don’t understand that religons have rights as well. No matter how much bigots like LGM may want to crush them.

This is, quite possibly, the absolute stupidest thing I have ever heard of before in my entire life. It far outstrips the “day without an illegal” stunt. There are far fewer gay people than there are illegals! What do we think this is going to accomplish?

Well, I guess it will be difficult to get good help in restaurants without all the waiters reporting to work, huh?
Oh, and unlike the “Day Without A mexican”, or whatever the hell that was called, no one is attempting to deport or get rid of gays. So why they feel the need to make people understand or feel what it is like to go without gays is completely beyond me, and the effort is completely innane and lost.
They have to latch on to the struggles blacks had to go through with civil rights, now they have to latch on to the Mexican’s ideas.
Do gays have a single original thought what-so-ever other than to steal rainbows from children?
