judge the last bailout by results. stock market down 25% from the vote date, no more credit, in fact less. 2nd bailout of aig and continued corruption by the bailout recipients. meanwhile, the indybank went belly up and assets of that bank were auctioned off and sold. the banks won't sell off their assets unless they have to, and as long as they can keep getting money from the taxpayer, they can hold these degraded assets in the hope they will grow in the future. unfortunately we mere mortal americans don't have a gravy train, so we have to sell our devalued assets to make our ends meet. damn, when are taxpayers going to have a lobby like bankers, insurance co's, or the auto industry. gm had 30b dollars during the summer, about 10b today, and they think 14b will tide them over until march. MAGIC BUCKS.

David Vitter has really walked the walk on conservatism as a Senator. I was sick when his name came up in the hooker probe, and that bit of stupidity will follow him around forever, but I can unequivocally say that I am proud of the job he is doing for Louisiana.

You beat me to it. BTW, about the "hooker probe". At least Vitter's conscience got the better of him and he confessed to his wife and went to counseling long before he it was made public. How many politicians can you name that actually have a conscience?

How about last weeks vote to oust Jefferson? About &^%$ time huh?

How many times have we said “enough is enough???” Not another dime?? I have contacted my Senator Kyl’s office and the “official statement” is that the auto companies need to do what is necessary to get themselves out of their own problems.

Thanks be for that. Jon Kyl can be a bit wobbly supporting McCain from time to time but at his core he is a Conservative. Now the Juan Hernandez McCain has self destructed we expect the wobbly to stop.
Senator Kyl is also fighting the UnFairness Doctrine.

Senator Coburn has another point that I'm not even sure if he knows he made - We don't need management, what we need is leadership.

These 5 Senators are showing leadership and it's about time.

Your Republican heroes are just trying to line their pockets a little. They do not have the courage to actually block something this important to the nation.

You hear that, folks? Democrats have exclusive rights to idealism and standing up for your core beliefs. Anyone else that attempts to do so is clearly corrupt.

Some guy on Yahoo answers says so on a loaded and leading question... so it must be true.

Case closed. We can all go home now.
