“Our Homeland Security can’t police their own home. How can they police our borders?”

Is anyone surprised by the news that illegal aliens were cleaning DHS Secretary Michael Chertoff’s home? (link)

Not if you are a long-time reader who remembers my reporting from five years ago on Kelvin Rodriguez.

Illegal aliens in the front yards of America’s top officials? Par for the open-borders course.

The whole Homeland Security thing was intended to be a joke in the first place. Just anotehr effort to shut the people up and keep them from complaining that nothing was being done. They were never serious about it – so why should we be surprised when something like this happens?

It’s not as though we’ve been seeing any enforcement of the law.

This whole homeland security thing is a joke. You can drive by large parking lots early in the morning and you will see dozens if not hundreds of laborers waiting to be picked up to work for the day. I’ve no doubt that 90 percent of them are illegal. What other law enforcement job is so easy that the suspects convene in public at the same spot every day?

During World War II and the Korean War, homeland security was known as civil defense. At that time, it was considered everybody’s job to be on the alert and tell the FBI or other law enforcement bodies if something suspicious was going on. Now, under the homeland security banner, this has become a professional function by people who are from the government and are therefore here to help us.

You know, I keep hearing about how we would all suffer if we deported all the illegals; how we would not have nannies; how we won’t have well manicured lawns; how we won’t have cheap labor for construction. Well, I’m still waiting for my allotment of cheap illegal alien workers. I still have to do my own lawn, home repair and child raising. It seems that the elites are keeping all this “cheap” labor for themselves.

It appears that the USSS was deliberately not checking immigration documents for validity. But more worryingly is that fraudulent immigration documents don’t concern the USSS. So, if an illegal alien can establish an identity with bogus documents, then the USSS does a security check on the bogus name and gets no negative information. Now you have someone who has penetrated USSS security. So, could an Al-Queda operative do the same? A Red Chinese spy? A Russian spy? A drug cartel operative? If I were Obama, I would be worried.

I work in Calhoun, Georgia. Drive through there and any small town between Chattanooga and Jacksonville and you will see the same thing: scores of non-english speaking latino laborers doing private and local government work. Trust me, statistically there are far more than 12MM illegals in this country. The problem is endemic. The obvious reason they are desperate to legalize these people is to get them paying taxs into SS to cover for the millions of citizen workers absent from society due to abortion. When American women refuse to bear children, new taxpayers have to come from somewhere ergo…

Another interesting fact is that there are many companies looking to hire across all industries and skill levels but they are having difficulty finding QUALIFIED candidates. I wonder why. Memo to the American Left: If you want open borders to pay for your progressive largesse, I suggest bringing in Asians and Europeans immediately.

You underestimate. 99.9% of them are illegal. And the reason the feds do nothing is PC. It is so pervasive and they are afraid of the old “profiling” charge. So they do nothing. Again, common sense is sacrificed for PC.

IMHO, anyone pulled over or encountered by law enforcement who can not speak english should be handled with suspicion of illegal entry. 90% are sure to be illegal (the rest would be those here on some generic visa). Afterall, one of the citizenship requirements is to show “proficiency” in English. So if they do not have at least a working knowledge of the language they can not be here legally unless they have a valid visa. Else, ICE has once again failed to ensure the very basic minimum requirements were met before awarding the honor of citizenship (my wife, European, said the language test was a joke. she spoke better English than the ICE guy). I still can’t understand why someone does not use this obvious contradiction to shut up the liberal ethnic grievance group’s attempts to shut down enforcement.

Who walks out of a McDonalds because there are illegal aliens working there? How would you know there are illegal aliens working anywhere? Before you purchase a product or service do ask if illegal aliens are involved?

Yes, it is embarrassing, but Chertoff is not to blame for who the company he hires to clean his house, hires as employees.

In the brave new world of world “governance” through the UN etc… there are no illegal aliens. There are only citizens of the world.

And in the elite circles of our alleged representatives, such trifling distinctions as citizens and foreigners are beneath their notice. It is something to pretend to believe in occasionally, in order to keep the plebes (that’s us) calm and quiet.

The nation is a primitive notion for primitive minds.

Why would such a well placed fellow as Chertoff notice such a triviality as so-called illegals working in his backyard? Really! Why should he have to support such absurd public pretenses in the privacy of his own home?

We’ve got to give this obviously classy guy a break.
