The dead white guys music( i.e. classical as in Beethoven and Handel and Bach) is still stellar and will kick their ass any day.

I like some classical music, but you don’t need to go back hundreds of years to find decent music. Zeppelin, the Stones, Queen and the Who all created fantastic music. I gather the Beatles also have a small following.

Speaking of the Beatles, remember when the nation was scandalized by their hair? Now we countenance on-stage assault. How far we’ve come… in the wrong direction.

with no consequences for bad behavior, you get more bad behavior. ask any parent. too bad our judges seem to have been too busy in court to pay attention to their children, or they would know better. this is my reason for always voting against any judge on any ballot. throw them out and replace them with robots. you killed someone, 20 to life, with special circumstances, death by drawn and quartering.

$250 fine plus whatever money paid to get his “hours” checked off. I doubt he’ll do any community service. $250 fine? That’s like fining me $2. Probably had that in his pocket. The whole thing was a waste of time and taxpayer money. I’m sure Akon knows that, being in the news, will sell more CDs. He’s the winner in all of this.

We should all write the mayor of Fishkill to explain to him why we won’t be visiting and doing business in that town. Appaprently there is no law and order there. We should write the judge and the Chamber of Commerce as well. MAybe even some of the businesses in that town. Nothing speaks louder than money and they will not be happy to hear they will not be getting any of ours. Also, what minor league team plays there and who owns the stadium? Who sponsered the “concert”? White them all and let them know they won’t get any business from us, our friends, family, associates, etc. Go after the slime that let this scumbag off with no punishment.
