1) What if, at this press conference, it was Saddam standing next to, say, the visiting President of Syria? Would ANYONE have the you-know-what to throw a shoe?
2) The protesters in the streets, would there have been any protests in the streets of Iraq for the shoe-thrower if Saddam was still there?
The irony is, the shoe-thrower threw his shoe at the very man who made it possible for him to throw his shoe without fear of DEATH! The protesting crowd also capable of assembling their mob without fear of being gunned-down in the streets by Saddam’s Republican Guard, because of that same man, George W. Bush!
3) All of a sudden, our liberal friends are concerned over the well-being of an Iraqi citizen (he is being detained because of his actions)?!?! Where were my lib friends when these people were being hog-tied and thrown off of roof-tops, or drilled threw their hands and foreheads?

This morning I saw that there was a Facebook group for throwing shoes at George Bush and I thought pretty much the same as everyone else here: Don’t these idiots have anything constructive to do with their time?
Then I thought about how many other countries there are in the world where they skip the lame shoe throwing stuff (sorry for the pun) and go straight to throwing molotov cocktails.

Code Pink is having a “protest” today in Berkeley. They are wandering around, holding shoes, in front of the Marine Recruiting Office in Berkeley.
By the way, this is the same Code Stink clowns who picketed the same Marine office in Berkeley for over a year before they gave up. Code Stink has closed their Berkeley office, and the Marines are still there.
They still come out periodically to do another “protest”. The difference is that when they show up in Berkeley now, the local merchants scream at them and tell them to F*** off.
This is pretty bad – I can’t remember a situation as insulting.
Bush brings freedom of speech to Iraq and their response is to throw shoes at his head.

Wow…what an incerdible protest. And with only a few days with which to organize it. However did the Washington D.C. Police department handle all the crowd control from the massive hordes of people who showed up to throw their shoes around? I was simply moved to tears and immediately went to my wallet in order to send in donations to help with his cause, to get this man who has been unjustly incarcerated freed and out on the streets so that he can continue to spread the Good Word and work under the guise of “The Religion of Peace” to bring that “dog” Bush to justice in front of the Hague.
