Just saw the segment on the atheists, Michelle. I’ll have to disagree with you on this. You can’t ignore these people if you do you do embolden them. They will continue to push the envelope. There will never be just “enough” for them.
I do agree with you on the Akon thing.
Didn’t know you were in Denver until Steve Doocy mentioned it, hope you are having a great time while you are there.

Hmm, for not being a “morning person” you sure do show up on F&F a lot — not that I’m complaining, it’s always a nice surprise when I see you there because I almost never see your “Where in the World” posts in time…

And on those occasions, not having to squint at some tiny YouTube vid on my computer screen after the fact is a bonus.

I just watched MM interview Joe the Plumber and how she tried to bait him to criticize Pres. Bush.

I liked his answer and how he didn’t criticize the President like she wanted. HA!!

Not everyone hates Pres. Bush like you do, Ms. Malkin. Some of us understand the difficult position he is in and show compassion since we are not nor ever will be in his shoes…no pun intended.

The last shred of sympathy I had for Bush died when Ramos and Compean were sent to prison.

And we never heard a word from them from McCain either. How does anybody support Bush with his quote on the free market. He admitted to being a Socialist at the end.

He gave us two good SCOTUS Justices, and if he hadn’t been sabotaged by McVain and the Gang of 14, we could have gotten a few decent constructionists on the lower courts.

But that does not make up enough for his persecution of Ramos and Compean, his complete neglect of border security, his rush to nationalize the economy at the end of his term, his cave on campaign finance reform, or his reckless spending these past eight years.

If it weren’t for Roberts and Alito I would almost think it would have been better to have had Algore or JFKerry in the Whitehouse these last 8 years. We might have kept the majority in the House and Senate and kept spending lower as the opposition.

But then, we would have been fighting the “Law Enforcement Action on Terror” and probably had more attacks.

Didn’t you know? He is probably giving their pardon to Jihad Johnny. Apparently the California traitor’s parents have asked Bush to show “mercy” to their poor misguided son. My opinion, the parents should be in prison along side their son, who actually should have been hanged for treason. If Bush shows “mercy” to him, and not to our Border Agents, I will personally go to DC and throw all 24 pr. of my shoes at him, including my beloved CROCS!

Now, why would Bush grant a pardon or a commutation to two working class guys? I mean, it’s not like they have connections like Scooter Libby? And besides, Bush’s Mexican buddies would be muy enojados if these brutal thugs who wounded an innocent drug smuggler were to be freed.

I thought of Jihad Johnny, too. He is probably more likely to be pardoned than our own border agents who, as Socky pointed out, viciously and ruthlessly shot a drug dealer in the butt as his sorry tail was running away…their “crime” was so much worse than, say, treason (the crime of choice of libs these days).

Which reminds me, is Bush really “from” Texas??? If so, then why is he so soft on illegal immigration, why is he persecuting our border agents and so far refusing a pardon for them, why doesn’t he want to “hang (Jihad Johnny) high”???

He resides in TX, but he doesn’t really live there.

Exactly! He resides in Texas, but he is not a Texan! There are a few things to still admire about Pres. Bush. But I do feel betrayed by him on a few things and he has a lot to answer for. The thing that drove me the craziest these past 8 years was his lack of communication! And when he did communicate, I held my breath waiting for something “wierd” to come out of his mouth. It isn’t that he is unintelligent…he just can’t articulate!! Now, of course, we have a glib president who can articulate very well and say nothing at the same time. Quite a talent.

Despite his many flaws, and despite the insanity that has been flowing from the White House these past couple of years (most notably the socialistic policies)…I’d still rather have a President Bush than an Obama.

But whenever I think of GWB these days, “pod person” comes to mind… :)
