Got the boys one of those belt fed nerf guns that fires fully automatic this year. One for each. Wondering how long until I am brought up on charges for endangering them in such a manner.

Now that’s just not true.

We will also let you keep these.

All joking aside, you are more than welcome to come for my guns chappy. And I will give them to you. One round at a time.

Gubbmint has to save us from ourselves ya know?

We bought some cap guns for our grandson last Christmas and had to go through all sorts of gyrations to get him the caps as well as getting them through the post office -- can't be sending those dangerous objects across the country now, can we?

I was flying F-16's at Kunsan AB, Korea in 1985 when our squadron (the 80th Fighter Squadron -- the Headhunters) printed a Christmas card and sent it to other USAF fighter squadrons around the world.

We were all at a remote (i.e., no families) assignment for a year and it was a pretty miserable existence so the card had on the front "If we can't have a Merry Christmas,..."

You then opened the card and it read, "...neither can you!" along with a sketch of Santa and his sleigh with the gunsight from an F-16 superimposed across them.

Just a little levity from the guys defending freedom from the tip of the spear!

I think they might let you keep this one if you add an orange tip. I'm sure someone will do better, this is a cheap destuctive hack the destroy's the gun. Put a better motor in it for the kids. A R/C car motor might work better and would handle the extra voltage better....

Hey - I'm highjacking this thread as I don't see an appropriate thread to comment.

Now that we're all freezing our B*tts off from east to west, north to south in this country, has anyone noticed that it's no longer posited in the media that global warming is a problem, rather that it's CLIMATE CHANGE?

Take note of the specialty of the other new czar, the climate change czar.

climate change - which allows the unhinged unscientific left to point to a very rainy day as a cause for alarm to regulate some successful industry in this country.

historical rewrite, courtesy of the media that will bring you the news for Obama the next 4 years.... very scary boys and girls....

(This is a joke…)

What isn't is txvet's constant jackassitude.

I guess with Goldwater Knight and atheling no longer posting, you felt the need to fill the "e-tough bad boy of the MM board."

If that was your intent, good job. But I'll tell you what. Agree or disagree with me, I at least provide 1) a unique perspective and 2) occasional funny. So far as I can tell, txvet, you have not contributed one single unique thought to this board--ever. You only say what a hundred other people can and, except they often say it smarter and with more class.

But as to the "topic", I admit to never having learned of the Kentucky long rifle, or if I had I have forgotten about it. I guess I was too busy learning important facts about American history. But the foolish often cling to trivialities because it is the only thing they can relate to.
