Only in San Francisco
A bunch of punks trashed a mall in San Francisco over the weekend — causing untold damage after throwing food, tossing trash cans, and ransacking kiosks.
Their ostensible reason for the “protest?”
“Solidarity with Greek Uprising.”
A band of demonstrators, many wearing black masks, stormed a bustling San Francisco mall Saturday evening, upending garbage cans and foliage and damaging crystal merchandise at one kiosk.
“It felt like random, vague anarchy,” said Sam Cantrell, who sells sunglasses at a kiosk near the escalators on the street level where the protesters gathered.
“Everyone’s yelling,” he said. “Some people started running up the escalator the wrong way. People were grabbing their babies and running away in fear.”
The disruption began around 6:30 p.m. as holiday shoppers crowded the mall on the last Saturday before Christmas.
Some protesters threw food, police said. Others tried to toss a large planter onto the food court below.
According to mall management, the protesters were part of a “Solidarity with Greek Uprising” demonstration, which began in the Mission District earlier in the afternoon. An international day of action was called on Saturday to protest the death of a young man in Greece in early December.
A half-dozen of the idiots were arrested for misdemeanor vandalism. But don’t expect anything to come of the charges.
It’s San Francisco.

I spoke too soon! A reader e-mails: “I wish it was ‘Only in San Francisco,’ but we had one of these Greek solidarity protests here in Toledo, Ohio as well. The goons held their ridiculous signs and blocked traffic, and had the disgusting nerve to parade around our statue of William Mckinley, which I guess they thought was funny because they were anarchists. They posted flyers with their website news.infoshop.com all over the area as well, and it looks like there have been protests in other cities as well. What the hell is wrong with these people?”

A “solidarity” demonstration with Greeks that began in the MISSION DISTRICT? That makes NO sense. The Mission District is MEXICAN. Few (if any) Mexicans can even SPEAK Greek, much less find it on a map. They don’t teach geography in San Francisco schools anyway, so this is crazy. No crazier than some years ago when the city began paying people to clean off graffiti from buses. Graffiti they had been caught putting ON the buses.
Removal was part of their sentence by the court, as was payment for services.
THAT is San Francisco.
Too bad there are no men left in that cesspool of a city.

Why does the news call them “demonstrators”? They were nothing more than criminal vandals and thieves, looking for an excuse to commit violence. “Greek solidarity” was nothing more than an excuse which was convenient to them and probably have no real interest anyway in Greece. As such, they should be tried, convicted and punished as criminals.
Face it, Obama won…they are getting restless. they have nothing to be pissed about right now. They had to do SOMETHING about that.

It ought to be obvious that San Francisco is really an anarchy masquerading as a civilized city. I can’t wait to see what happens when the next big earthquake shakes the place around.
Too bad the once beautiful city by the bay in the People’s Republic of Kalifornia has become a welcome home for Al Gayda and other terrorist organizations. Chalk it up as another reason to be grateful for living in the middle of nowhere Idaho. I would really hate to see the petulant children throw one of their little anarchist temper tantrums in the small cities and towns of flyover country. I’m sure they would receive a very warm reception and a couple might even live to tell about it too.

I’ve got an idea for a new entitlement program: tax-funded one-way moves for these nimrods. People like this should be offered a choice between prison time and a one-way move to the hellhole of their choice.

A couple years ago, there was a protest along Market St. in SF where a bunch of cowards called “black blocks” were involved. The police just stood by and watched as they threw newspaper racks through plate glass windows and kicking in glass doors of businesses. All under the command of Heather Fong the disgraceful police chief and handmaiden of Newsom.
I knew then, the police were helpless and might as well not have them there at all.
