Neeever mind.

Hey, while you’re at it, how about taking back that open-borders pardon, too?

Oops indeed. Now give that pardon to Scooter Libby. He took the hit for nothing and got a lousy reprieve from prison but still has a felony conviction.

If Mr. Bush cannot pardon Ramos and Compean at least call off the war dogs (Justice Department )from attacking Ignacio Ramos’ family, father-in-law and supporters. As one HERO of the Bureau of Prisons told us:

Ignacio Ramos is the ONLY American born person he knows of put in with the Mexican born gang unit–hence the beating. The three guards who went into the unit to retrieve Mr. Ramos did so at great peril and cost–they will never be promoted. Here the Justice Department thought they had that mouthy little spic taken care of and these three guards screwed it up.

Merry Christmas open border types everywhere. What is a dead American compared to cheap green fees for Lindsay the Pansy Graham?

I seem to remember that someone on the prosecution side had promised that Ramos and Compean would NOT be placed in the general population because there were people in there that Ramos and Compean were part of the reason they were in prison.
Somewhere along the way the “paperwork” didn’t get done and thus the beatings.

Excuse me? Can he do that? How ridiculous. So when is a pardon not a pardon? It shouldn’t matter that Bush or his staff was stupid enough as to let this slip by: you don’t get do-overs. If he didn’t do enough research to let this stand, that’s his own dumb fault and he should have to just suck it up.

This was an idiotic idea by someone on W’s staff. Interesting that the Rich pardon got the most publicity for the Clintons but check out a guy named Brasswell who got a Clinton pardon. He was far worse than Rich. Clinton never explained how Braswell got a pardon or what Braswell did to deserve a pardon. Something shady must have happened for Braswell to get a pardon. A google search of Braswell shows what a lousy person this guy was.

White House press secretary Dana Perino said the new decision was “based on information that has subsequently come to light,” including on the extent and nature of Toussie’s prior criminal offenses. She also said that neither the White House counsel’s office nor the president had been aware of a political contribution by Toussie’s father that “might create an appearance of impropriety.”

“Given that, this was the prudent thing to do,” she said.

    Hmmm…

Sounds much like the Ramos/Campeon case, wherein the jury had not been told of the drug trafficking background of the jerk who was shot. Or that the illegal alien drug trafficker had been given a pass to come back and forth across the border. Or that the illegal alien drug trafficker had used that pass to move even more drugs across the border during the proceeding that wrongly imprisoned two men doing their jobs.

    Yes, sounds familiar indeed.

    This is just too weird.

The Constitution to today’s politicians is just some nice words on a old piece of parchment written by a bunch of slave-holding white men. That’s why we’re in the mess we’re in. The Democrats trashed the Constitution and the Republicans did nothing to stop it.

The outrage is not simply that a well-connected white white-collar criminal(Toussie) won a pardon. It also would be an outrage if Bush failed to do right by Aaron, an unconnected African-American man serving life for a first-time nonviolent offense, and two Latino Border Patrol agents who, if they did break the law, did so in the heat of the chase, not the cool of a boardroom.
