It is about time Israel bombed the snot out of HAMAS! Over the past 12 months (6 months of which was to have been a “Cease-Fire” period), Hamas has lobbed over 3000 rockets at BOTH ENDS of the country. Israel, bowing to international pressure has given food, energy and even money to the MURDERS. There have also been countless suicide bombers intercepted AND the EVIL B’s have put IEDs on their side of the gates to try to injure IDF folks who might chase the offenders across the fence.
This is what they are doing with the land given to them for peace – attacking the givers. Oh, and then there were those viable businesses that were GIVEN to them so that they might have an income stream. The Jacka$$es demolished them and sold the metal in the hydroponic gardens for SCRAP. STUPID.
I say, bomb Gaza back to the stone-ages…and hopefully a few really big bombs should miss their targets and land in Teheran at Ahmanutjob’s house.
Just fo kick some major A$$ … enough of their BS already … and don’t stop to take names … you might let some of them get away …

I’m not really back. I came here because many of Dad’s friends are here and I knew they’d want to know as soon as I was told the good news!
I stand by what I said when I left, (but maybe with less heat and more rationality…). I like MM, but I have real problems with her tone in some cases, esspecially with people (her loyal readers) whom she calls friends.
But I only bring that up by way of explanation. I think the real difference is that I believe The People have (purposely) been walled off from The Constitution. We are the final “check & balance”, and I see that attitude is unpopular, that most everyone feels that SCOTUS is the final arbiter. But RedPill covers that well enough, so my words are redundant.

For those who are upset at MSM coverage of Israel, I recommend http://www.honestreporting.com. For the last eight years, they have been exposing the biases and fakery in reporting on Israel’s conflicts, targeting the NY Times, the BBC, Reuters, CNN and the Associated Press among numerous offenders and sometimes even obtaining retractions from them. A pet peeve of the Honest Reporting people is the MSM calling terrorists “militants.” We see this all the time.
How about this: a small (+/-4 pound) “dumb bomblet” with a camera on the nose cone designed to home in on the particular shade of green that they seem to favor for headbands. Drop it from around 40,000 feet, (with no warhead – just 4 lbs of steel from that height should be sufficient) and little to no collateral damage. Once they catch on, of course, it will stop working, but for those first few mass-marches and funerals..

It won’t be long before both Nicholas Kristof and Roger Cohen of the NY Times write anguished columns about how difficult it is for them to criticize Israel but after all, Israel must withdraw to the June 1967 borders and had Israel withdrawn to the 1967 borders years ago, peace would have reigned. Kristof will quote Bet T’Slem and talk about Israeli “human rights abuses” and Cohen will write about the need for Israeli withdrawal. The NY Times will follow with an anguished editorial blasting Israel and in the last sentence say that Hamas should stop its use of “homemade rockets”.
Peace will come ONLY when one side is totally defeated and devastated. Surrender is NOT an option with the Palestinians as they do not honor anything but death! I pray it’s the defeat of the Palestinians we’ll witness, and that Israel will NOT relent until that defeat is accomplished; no phony ceasefires, finish the job once and for all.
In a street fight or in a war you must never stop fighting lest you lose or die. Anybody that thinks you can fight for while then rest and begin again is a damn fool. Israel needs to decisively crush those terrorist bastards.

The Israeli’s have caught up with the western world, they can’t stomach too much blood, however for the likes of Hamas the back is on the wall, they are not nearly as well equiped, but they have the will, and that right there is equal to any smart bomb. Look at Vietnam or the Soviet War in Afghanistan, or WW2 Japan, who carved an Empire with Infantry who were poorly equiped but highly motivated and would not have surrenderd had the goverment done so.
This will end in stalemate as the public will isn’t there and the inclussion (See culture of War) of women in the combat arms of Israel has led to a down turn in over all training ending up with the US, More Tech less sweet policy, which can not win and Infantry War. And Rampler do be careful with what you say, the United States only became a nation buy using the same thugish actions as you say.
Armed uprisings, terrorist actions, such as killing British Soldiers while they slept on Chirstmas Eve, they are using legitmate tactics, in war you don’t screw around or be a police man, you fightand you fight to win. And thats only done by sweeping your enemy away to the point resistance is futial. Hence why our wars are nearing 8 years.
Here’s a conspiracy theory for you: lgm is a plant in this blog to stir up the pot. How else can you explain the consistant contrarian points of view and the extreme left wing lunacy that even most left wingers wouldn’t support? If lgm is not a plant, then perhaps “it” is just someone who gets their jollies out of stirring the pot. LGM is obviously an intelligent, or at least coherent, person. That’s why I don’t believe lgm really believes all the crap he or shes dumps on this blog.

I guess I’m one of the “simple folk”. I don’t like war, but if war has to waged it needs to be punitive.
I believe that if a nation/state chooses to put itself on a war footing it needs to be committed to winning that war.
No restraint.
No consideration of “international opinion”
War should be made so ugly that it really is a last resort.
Having said that, I find no fault with Israel on this. I believe that Hamas has provoked Israel.
And the consequences are the same as if you whacked a hornet’s nest with a stick.
Today the Ayatholla called for all muslims to attack Israel.
