I find it odd that so many her seem to think “I don’t give a damn what the Frenchies, Arabs, Russians, British, Germans [insert name of whatever foreign country or group appropriate here] think about our President or our foreign policies. We will do what we want” under Bush, but NOW we are supposed to care about anecdotal “support” for our president from these people?
To be less cryptic: The Jewish State of Israel desperately needs the support of the incoming US administration during this time of mounting world pressure against it; so far, that support has not been voiced.
Obama needs to get off the rhetoric and platitudes – “one president at a time” and “if Hamas was bombing my house” – and give a strong, vocal stance of support for Israel.

Please tell us what Israel should do? Not retaliate? Give up more land, so that all of the country is now within Hamas’ rockets range? Should every Israeli just pack up and leave and turn the country over to the Palestinians? What would your response be to a rocket that killed one of your family, or your neighbors, or one of your fellow citizens?
That is an excellent question and one that must be answered by Chap, lgm, every liberal on this blog. What should Israel do? Do they have any answer to that question? Or do they really think Israel should just sit there and let the terrorists continue to kill their citizen day after day? I am going to call my liberal moonbat brother and ask him that question because I really am curious as to his response!
Personally, I find it odd how so many on the left seem to think it’s more important for a US president to be liked by those who resent the freedoms and success of the US and want nothing short of the destruction of our country instead of doing what is in the best interest of the US people.
