graysonret, my wife (Korean) and I have had similar trubles. We've been working on her permanent visa, too, since we married in 2005, and so far, all we have received is the run-around. It really makes me sick that we are trying to do things the right, correct, and legal way, all the while, tens of millions in the USA are allowed to stay illegally, have jobs, get driver's licenses, and live in the USA virtually tax- and hassle-free. That's why I didn't vote for President Obama, and didn't pl;an on voting for McCain either, until he added a REAL conservative to the GOP Ticket in Governor Palin.

I surely wish that the US of A would enforce its immigration laws, and, yes, do the "painful" thing and deport every single one of the illegal aliens in the USA.....

The bipartisan civility police told us we weren’t supposed to talk about illegal immigration during the 2008 presidential campaign because open discussion would “alienate” swing (read: Hispanic) voters.

Appeasement is never OK.
