Peaceful protests/demonstrations are fine, but these go WAY beyond all reason. Lock ‘em up for littering or disturbing the peace or threatening citizens. Free speech does NOT include threatening others. Then, deport all non-US citizens.

By the way, there were similarly beyond-reason demonstrations in Ft.Lauderdale, Florida, on 30 December. (The police were a bit more effective here.)

Various EU countries have condemned Israel’s actions. I wonder how they’d feel if neighboring states were lobbing rockets into their border towns. I don’t see any EU countries offering to move these “refugees” within their borders.

Why do we admit people to this country who hate our guts? They’re like locusts: they move into a wheat field, destroy it, and move on. They had protests in Tulsa. They’re everywhere.

Mark Steyn’s column today is excellent.

I thought about mocking a liberal such as lgm or my new favorite; eaglehaslanded. However, this is no laughing matter. The “tolerant” amongst us continually espouse that we must be above the fray when dealing with terrorists … I beg to differ. Especially, when the “tolerant” take to the streets in opposition to Israel protecting itself from Hamas.

Lgm, if you are out there lurking … on more than one occasion you made statements in favor of muslims who were planting IEDs, etc., in an effort to supposedly protect their country against the US invasion … you heralded those efforts as laudable. At what point may Israel protect herself?

    I’m thoroughly disgusted.

Sigh, peaceful protests these days are few and far between. I think the protest/demonstration culture is way out of control.

Protests/demonstrations seem to bring out all of those who have a chip on their shoulder and often results in screaming matches and vandalism. most of the time, no one can determine who is protesting what, since there are so many groups vying for attention.

I expect that the current round of protests will continue to escalate as long as hostilities continue in Gaza. I expect the Hamas supporters to become more emboldened as police response is relatively impotent to begin with.

Since most protesters seem to want nothing more than media exposure, I wonder what would happen if they held a protest and the media didn’t show up?

Let’s see, last month it was Mormons who were against gay marriage; evangelical Christians who were trying to spread the Gospel of Jesus (of peace, mind you); and now the SF target de jour is Israel, for trying to defend itself against Hamas and a seemingly never-ending rain of Iranian-supplied rockets. This truly is the city of peace, love and tolerance, isn’t it? Oh, yes, this is where the city councilman lives who wants to abolish the Army (completely); where NROTIC is banned; and where illegal aliens get sanctuary. Make you wish for another great SF earthquake, don’t it?

Meanwhile, at an earlier San Francisco Gaza protest on December 30, the Palestinian protesters (according to this post at the “At the Back of the Hill” blog) chanted the following slogans in Arabic:

“Itbach al Yahud” (slaughter the Jews)
“Falastin balad’na w’al Yahud qalab’na” (Palestine is our land and the Jews are our dogs)
“ba ruh, ba dam, nafdeek ya Falastin” (with our soul, with our blood, we will cleanse you oh Palestine),
“al mawt al Yahud” (death to the Jews),
“Khaybar Khaybar ya Yahud, jaish-Muhammad saya’ud” (Khaybar Khaybar oh Jews, the army of Muhammad will return).

Doesn’t this qualify as hate speech?

The biggest problem The Left has is their total inability to identify and admit the presence of evil.

They cannot fathom people stacking munitions in a church (mosque)and elementary schools or locating their leaders and launchers next to residential areas. Also the idea of letting the civilians starve while your military forces take all the food and mdeical supplies you need. The more civilian suffering the etter.

So in their minds when the targets are hit and civilians killed or hospitals are out of medicine Israel is the villan. You would think after 50 years of war they would have more than a weeks supply of everything in Gaza. Hamas does. They do not care about their people; only the cause.

Hamas can play these people like a violin.

Hamas is like a child. If you want a child to act a certain way the punishment for transgressing good behavior must alter said behavior. Obviously Israel’s response to this wicked behavior hasn’t been “appropriate” because it hasn’t altered the Hamas pigs behavior. They are still lobbing rockets into Israel. The Palistinian nut jobs are sooo into Islam that they just can’t see the forest for the trees. They are, in fact, bent on their own destruction. They choose to not play well with othersand not be good neighbors.

When Israel left Gaza they left the infrastructure intact. What did those morons do? Did they put the green houses to good use to feed their children? Nope they destroyed them. Have they improved anything over the last few years? Nope. They turned a good place to live into a crap hole. They spent all their time and effort to do one thing: Destroy Israel.

As for the poor “women and children” who are victims? Any people who can’t figure out that living next to a tunnel used to transport rockets and invade Israel or next to what is obviously a weapons system and not understand that it might be a target of retaliation deserves the consequences.

I’m not Darwinian by a long shot but if you are too stupid to adapt to your surroundings and survive you should suffer the consequences.

The useful idiots of the liberal left are going to be very surprised once the worshippers of the false prophet Mohammad get their world wide Caliphate. Then again history has proven that the useful idiots are the first to disappear in a totalitarian regime. I am all for freedom of religion, but a religion that only worships death can’t coexist with Western Civilization and all of their followers need to be deported back to the third world cesspool they came from if this nation is to survive. Not that I expect the incoming administration to do anything different from the out going one on this issue.

I cant say Im shocked anymore.

Been to a few counter protests in NYC with The Protest Warriors. Ive seen some craziness… all of which came from liberals. Honestly these people are nuts. Ive seen them attack us, surround and attack our chapter leader, curse, spit, do weird chants in a circle, do weird weird dances, basically stuff that made you ask “These are human beings?”. Ive remember one incident where one guy dressed in BDU’s with a USMC Name tape screamed at us… ‘Why dont yous go to Iraq’… not realizing half our group was military… including my buddy who recently came back from Operation Iraqi Freedom. I guess he didnt get the memo lol.

The worst incident I EVER SAW and which I will never forget… is one day me and my buddy (USMC Vet, Iraqi Freedom Vet) decided to counter protest the liberals during fleet week here in NYC. We got to The Intrepid where we held up American Flags and welcomed The Troops home. (The Marines just finished a tour in Iraq) I was holding a American flag on the sidewalk in front of ‘The Fighting I’. Marines and Sailors were walking by … then all of a sudden you hear loud voices… I turned around and boom … their they were. Liberals took up a whole side of the street. They layed out in front of them… cardboard coffins and started screaming at Marines / Sailors that this was their buddies and their going to be in the box soon.

I was shocked. Ive come to the conclusion that these people are nuts and insane.

The sad thing is they control everything… Schools, TV, Movies, Congress, Presidency, Many Courts, Newspapers, Magazines. Pretty much everything. The areas they dont control … Talk Radio is under attack by the Fairness doctrine.

I think over time … theyll be less and less conservatives. I think over time we will see alot more radicalism.

He got no place to escape to, no place to run.
    He’s the neighborhood bully.

The neighborhood bully just lives to survive,
He’s criticized and condemned for being alive.
He’s not supposed to fight back, he’s supposed to have thick skin,
He’s supposed to lay down and die when his door is kicked in.
    He’s the neighborhood bully.

The neighborhood bully been driven out of every land,
He’s wandered the earth an exiled man.
Seen his family scattered, his people hounded and torn,
He’s always on trial for just being born.
    He’s the neighborhood bully.

Well, he knocked out a lynch mob, he was criticized,
Old women condemned him, said he should apologize.
Then he destroyed a bomb factory, nobody was glad.
The bombs were meant for him.
He was supposed to feel bad.
    He’s the neighborhood bully.

Well, the chances are against it and the odds are slim
That he’ll live by the rules that the world makes for him,
‘Cause there’s a noose at his neck and a gun at his back
And a license to kill him is given out to every maniac.
    He’s the neighborhood bully.

He got no allies to really speak of.
What he gets he must pay for, he don’t get it out of love.
He buys obsolete weapons and he won’t be denied
But no one sends flesh and blood to fight by his side.
    He’s the neighborhood bully.

Well, he’s surrounded by pacifists who all want peace,
They pray for it nightly that the bloodshed must cease.
Now, they wouldn’t hurt a fly.
To hurt one they would weep.
They lay and they wait for this bully to fall asleep.
    He’s the neighborhood bully.

Every empire that’s enslaved him is gone,
Egypt and Rome, even the great Babylon.
He’s made a garden of paradise in the desert sand,
In bed with nobody, under no one’s command.
    He’s the neighborhood bully.

Now his holiest books have been trampled upon,
No contract he signed was worth what it was written on.
He took the crumbs of the world and he turned it into wealth,
Took sickness and disease and he turned it into health.
    He’s the neighborhood bully.

What’s anybody indebted to him for?
    Nothin’, they say.
He just likes to cause war.
Pride and prejudice and superstition indeed,
They wait for this bully like a dog waits to feed.
    He’s the neighborhood bully.

What has he done to wear so many scars?
Does he change the course of rivers?
Does he pollute the moon and stars?
Neighborhood bully, standing on the hill,
Running out the clock, time standing still,
    Neighborhood bully.
