Hillary Clinton’s pay-for-pay problem

By Michelle Malkin  •  January 8, 2009 10:45 AM

Over at Obamanoms.com, a terrific clearinghouse of info on all of Obama’s nominees, there’s a good post on Hillary Clinton’s little pay-for-pay problem.

Here.

Hope those Obama vetters are making sure they don’t end up with another Richardson-ian headache.

Obama has stupidly provided Republicans with multiple opportunities to expose the stench of choices during confirmation hearings, if they have any spine at all to properly vet these people; Hillary, Carol Browner, Eric Holder, etc.

Almost all of the issues that this brings up can be remedied, simply, with term limits.

Somehow I don’t think anything will be a problem for Hill. She must have some juicy dirt on Obama in that shoebox in her closet.

One of the people that the Clintons pardoned on their way out of office was a guy named Braswell, who was a fraudster. No explanation was ever given as to why a guy convicted of selling phony medicines that gave false hope to many people would get a presidential pardon. The Clintons don’t have to worry about the liberal media looking into this can of worms.

As the Richardson fiasco unfolds, we learn that implicated in his pay to play scheme is one Chris Romer, the son of former Colorado democrat governor Roy Romer.

What’s up with those dems anyway?

…yes but there are coins being struck with Obama’s image to help commemorate this historic event. THIS IS HISTORIC, PEOPLE!! Don’t distract from this by mentioning problems with Obama’s choices!! (besides, he has thrown so many people under the bus already – he probably doesn’t have many more to choose from).

Now that is just a little co incidental , Pilgrim. Of course the Hildabeast doesn’t know any of those people. They just live down the street.
Saw Schumer’s name in the article. Since so one held him accountable for his bank run release letter, I would really like someone to dig something up on that one.
I do know someone who is honest and is the real 1st black President. Honestly! Bill!

read walt williams column posted yesterday about getting rid of the rich as compared to getting rid of the powerful. it speaks directly to the problem we face which is a political class who care nothing for the people of the country unless they can enrichen the politicians’ lives.

I heard a little bit about this on fox news saturday morning and nothing since.
There are so many things wrong with these type of abuses it’s hard to put it into words.
First of all, these presidential libraries are nothing more than a front for favors & bribes. They have little transparency of where the money comes from, and less still about where it goes.
Congress passed news rules yesterday regarding donations to presidential libraries and foundations requiring future presidents (after Bush) to report all contributions over $200 (this will fit in well with Obama’s online donations). But still no reporting of expenditures.
How many billions will be “donated” to Bill’s library while his wife is Sec. of State? How much more will go into off-shore accounts?

    Do the right thing.

Four words that seems impossible for most people to accept as a life direction.

Leaders must have good character. Good character in a leader garners respect, which engenders trust in the individual and makes it easier to follow that person.

Bad character in a leader only makes bad people feel better about being bad.

Most political leaders engender dread about the future. Some more than others. Ever wonder why?

In a political leader there is no such thing as private life. The reason for things done in private is always going to the same reason for things done in public life, and vise versa.

“B.J.” Clinton loves the rug the first President left in the White House–steam clean it before taking it elsewhere!
    ***
Hillary takes the White House silver service (value $250K ?) home with her when they leave office. Like taking the soap and towels from Motel 6. Will she give the items to Michell Obama for use when President Bush leaves?
