And I must also remark that as a child, I saw then-Gov. Voinovich <a href="http://wellsy.wordpress.com/2009/01/12/ohios-voinovich-to-retire-from-senate/" rel="nofollow">land in a helicopter</a> at a state park my family was staying at. It seemed cool at the time. I <em>was </em>also a kid. I do have to say, though, that this at least gives the Ohio GOP enough time to vet a decent field of candidates.
