A bittersweet Hillary/Jawn Kerry moment Updated

Runners-up.

Guffaw. During questioning just a bit ago at her SecofState nomination hearing, Sen. Clinton mistakenly called Sen. Jawn Kerry “Mr. President” instead of “Mr. Chairman.”

Kerry warbled: “I’ll take that.”

Hillary grinned: “It was a Freudian slip.” Kerry warbled back, “We’re subject to a lot of those on this subject.”

Soak up the rueful awkwardness.

Now that’s just down right weird. Someone please explain to these two geniuses that a Freudian slip is one that exposes repressed sexual fantasies and desires.

They are above their paygrades, too, I suspect.

At least we were spared the terrible consequences of a Kerry presidency. I have a hard time thinking about him without my gorge rising.

Catch up to Bill? Not to question Chelsea’s paternity, but she sure looks a lot like Webster Hubble.

mchristian is right. They have presidential fantasies, but these are also sexual fantasies, because we are the ones getting screwed.

    Meriam-Webster –

    Freudian slip
    Function: noun
    Date: 1953
: a slip of the tongue that is motivated by and reveals some unconscious aspect of the mind

wiki – A Freudian slip is not limited to a slip of the tongue, or to sexual desires.

    Just clarifying the definition….
