   The Constitution clearly states that:

   No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President;
   

   Those 539 individuals, 538 from the Legislative branch and 1 from the Executive branch, did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to support and defend the Constitutional requirement that Barack Hussein Obama II and Joseph Robinette “Joe” Biden, Jr. be natural born Citizens of the United States.

   It is implicit in the 20th amendment that the President and Vice-President must have their qualifications checked, and the burden of proof is on the candidate. This is not “innocent until proven guilty”, this is “unqualified until proven qualified”.

   Those 539 elected officials, from both the Legislative and Executive Branches, are guilty of malpractice and dereliction of duty. This requires Judicial Branch Review, and if the Supreme Court refuses to hear all of the cases before it, then it, too, is guilty of malpractice and dereliction of duty.

   I pray, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, that the Supreme Court supports and defends the Constitution of the United States and does the following:

   1) Verifies the birth location of Barack Hussein Obama II as shown on his original vault birth certificate

   2) Verifies the multiple citizenships of Barack Hussein Obama II (British, Kenyan, Indonesian, US?)

   3) Rules on the definition of “natural born citizen” as originally intended by those who wrote the “natural born citizen” requirement into the Constitution (men who knew well the definition of that term in The Law of Nations).

    And, whether for moral reasons or strictly political and military reasons, the fact remains that Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation. That document, in and of itself, did not free the slaves (the war had to be won first to accomplish that), but it certainly showed the intention to free the slaves.

    Meanwhile, the Democrats in the South tried to keep dark-skinned people enslaved for another 100+ years using other methods.

    For a Democrat to usurp the mantle of “Emancipator” is ludicrous, but given that Obama is willing to usurp the Presidency, it doesn’t come as any surprise.

    It’s almost as if Democrats are trying to rewrite history to forget that Lincoln was the first Republican president.

    While true, it might be mistakenly inferred that this was a conscious decision on Lincoln’s part, so I’d just like to add a clarifying point. The Proclamation could only be applied to the confederate states because Lincoln was limited by the war powers at the time and only Congress could eliminate slavery for the Union.

    Lincoln also played a leading role in the adoption of the 13th amendment. Prior to his nomination as a candidate, he was known as an outspoken opponent of slavery, particularly over the Dred Scott case.

    He wrote in a letter to Albert Hodges:
    “If slavery is not wrong, nothing is wrong … And yet I have never understood that the Presidency conferred upon me an unrestricted right to act officially upon this judgment and feeling … I claim not to have controlled events, but confess plainly that events have controlled me.”

    Granted, I know sonofdy gets this. I’m just mystified by some attempts to paint Lincoln as if he were not truly anti-slavery. Lincoln respected the rule of law and knew that if slavery were to be abolished, it would have to go through the legal process or it might never get a fair chance.

    I agree. It also reminds me of another comparison that is made among RINOs in particular, that Ahhhnold and Reagan were somehow similar just b/c they were both actors and govs of California. To me that’s where the similarity ends.

    This whole Lincoln-Obama thing is really getting old. What if Obama was from another state (technically he is…)? Would we still be having the Lincoln comparisons forced down our throats?

    You guys really need to let this whole birth certificate thing go. It’s a complete non-starter, nothing is ever going to come of it and it’s starting to sound like those guys that rail on about how we faked the moon landing.

    The Republicans abandoned their mission, they betrayed their principles, they nominated a weak candidate and ran an inept campaign. Elections have consequences. The best thing we can do now is man up and accept them while we try to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

    In case you’re interested, even the State of Hawai’i doesn’t want to use it’s own Certification of Live Birth as an acceptable document to be used for the grant of property to native Hawaiians. They request the original Certificate of Live Birth!

    So let’s see…the document is good enough to prove presidential eligibility but not good enough for the original issuing state in the case of property grants?

    Cut me some slack! I may have been born at night but I wasn’t born last night. The B.O. is NOT a natural-born U.S. citizen. He is constitutionally disqualified from being president.

    This is why the SCOTUS just dropped the issue. They could have demanded that the B.O. appear before the court with the required documentation. But they realized that if the documentation was insufficient (as it appears to be), they would have had to rule against him. So they just dropped it.

    Just one more part of our constitution that was included for a reason, but is know just kicked aside like some trash because it’s inconvenient to a socialist taking power.

    By the way, I know that slavery was part of the constitution, too. But the Republicans got that amended out, over the protests of the democrats. The qualifications have never been amended.
