Unfortunately, not even the military is allowed to discuss or even contemplate the enemy in this country. Thus, an idea as sensible as this is almost certainly a non-starter for its offense against political correctness.

May I suggest the ID card contain a GPS chip that can feed realtime location information into the JDAM being carried on the drone or strike aircraft.
When his GPS terminates he can be removed from the registry.

I’m also very excited that should Obama close Gitmo the news down here in San Diego indicated Camp Pendleton could be a destination. I wonder if Obama will ask that us new neighbors take them a casserole or something.
This can be a good and a bad idea. What if, as a born again Christian, do something that my government doesn’t like? Does that mean I am a terrorist and go on this list. I see this as a potentially dangerous avenueto go down……
I’d hazard a guess that we will see more events like Ruby Ridge. If that’s the case, they are more than welcome to come for me and mine. Not because I want to “go out in a blaze of glory” or some other such nonsense. But because I would rather be in the ground than see my nation brought low by Marxist slime.

We definitely should implant a chip in each Gitmo detainee, without their knowledge, so we can know where they are at all times. They could be given some kind of knock-out drug, implant the chip, and never tell them. It would need to be a top secret, safe from even the clutches of the NYT! If that is possible. And in the future,when fighting against terrorists, we must take no prisoners!! These scumbags want to die and we need to oblige them.
Remember, we wouldn’t have to register them at all if we just killed them on the battlefield!
