    I believe Jimmuh didn’t even use a middle initial. Seems like LBJ (first swearing in) didn’t use his name at all. In fact, the Constitution does not require that the person being sworn in state his/her name at all. Just that they will preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. Too bad BHO seems to believe that that same Constitution is a living, breathing document that must be “interpreted” according to the circumstances of the moment.

    I strenuously disagree. By recently defined, liberal standards – President Cliton’s first four years were the worst in US Presidential history to date in 1996. However, non-coverage of Clinton’s first four years, non-coverage of the 1996 DNC/Clinton reelection-financing-corruption, and an inordinate coverage of Bob Dole’s weaknesses gave every liberal reporter just what he/she was wishing for that year…four more years of a liberal in the White House.

    Even in their sorry and weakened state today, never underestimate the power of the fourth branch of US government – the DNC media.

    Flying the flag at half-mast or upside down is not showing disrespect for the flag. They are signals, one is a sign of mourning, the other is a sign of distress.

    I would submit our nation needs to mourn having elected a CINC we know so little about and we are likely to find ourselves in an extended period of distress because of it.

    Perhaps if voters had actually tried to understand who they were voting for, instead of voting because “he is so cute, etc.” such signs wouldn’t be necessary. Perhaps they should have hewn to the old adage: Caveat Emptor
