Best color commentary about Bill Clinton
Amid all the dreary, colorless cliches clogging inauguration coverage, Brit Hume elicits a triple-snort from me:
Hillary and Bill Clinton came into view.
Hume: “Bill Clinton always looks like a man searching for the proper expression to put on his face. It’s always been this way as long as I have covered him.”
Lip bite? Feigned solemnity? Slight impish grin? What to do? What to do?

Well said, Brit.
As soon as color and Clinton were mentioned…. I was thinking Blue…
As in Blue Dress….
The dilemma of a petard with ears.
Where’s the “Oh” face?
The Clenis has an unnatural ability, almost chameleon like, to change expressions in just milliseconds.
Memories of Bubba leaving Ron Brown’s funeral.
That funeral video of Clinton’s “I feel your pain” performance was the opening argument in my eventual summation that – too many liberals have to pretend to be somebody or something that they are not.
he looks like a man who knows POWER has eluded his grasp, never to return…
oh the horror!!!
He’s trying not to look smug, as usual!
I would think “barely-pent-up-rage-red-face.”
It’s the “Why does my Presidential Library look like a giant mobile home?” look.
Perhaps the only good thing about an Obama presidency: Hillary will never be President and Bill will never again have influence in the WH.
Wasn’t that in the South Carolina primary?
That “color commentary” certainly didn’t help his aspirations of returning to the White House.
That video is classic Clinton.
The classic “I-will-always-be-trailer-trash” look.
As trailer trash, I take offence to that remark!
The last 5 elections have given much hope to all the pot-heads and coke-heads out there. I predict a crack-head president in 8 years.
Sara is most certainly NOT a crack-head!
Dick Morris tells about Clinton tackling him on the porch and being ready to beat the stew out of him…
What a perfect description of Der Schlickmeister by Hume! I’m going to miss him on FNC.
How about the “I told Algore to ride my coat-tails and he came up with some lame lock-box crap” and the ever popular “I can’t believe you people did not vote for Hillary knowing that I’d be the one at the helm” looks.
I’ve been smacked and accused of checking out chicks many, many times over the years (on occassion I deserved the whack), even when I was looking at a clock or something INSTEAD of a chick.
…however, no wife or girlfriend has ever thrown a lamp at me.
Caption for this picture: BUSTED!
The sad point is that after four years (hopefully) of Obama, Clinton may look good in comparison.
Have some sympathy for the guy, afterall, he’s gotten to the point where young and pretty interns aren’t attacted to him. Now he has to settle for looking at Hillary.
…And don’t forget the last words out of his mouth, moments before enters the public view….(In my best Bill Clinton crackly voice!)“Where’s the cameras?”
It’s his “How can I make a buck off of this?” look
I did not have sexual relations with that woman,— yet;— or that one over there , or that fine lookin’ one over there, who’s intern is that ?
Did you notice how he kept ogling the Bush twins? That was creepy.
Brits the best!
“B.J.” Clinton Caption, “WHERE IS THAT MONICA WHEN I NEED HER?”.

I take solace in the fact that Clinton lives in a perpetual hell knowing that he had achieved his lifelong dream and blew it rather badly. You’ve seen what how that realization has embittered Carter but it will completely ravage Clinton as time goes on. Carter, at least, has some personal dignity which regulates and tempers his behavior but Clinton doesn’t have those governors on his worst instincts.
It was funny when Oscar Madison wondered if he should be “humble” or “cocky/funny” but it’s sickening when you know a politician is just a bad actor.
Gee, Brit, honesty in commentary is usually more welcome when it’s not twenty years old.
Gee Bill, just make like you’re really getting into a cigar.
Yes, but Bill received the honor of being snubbed by Jimmy Carter.
Clinton is a self-serving lightweight, but the loathsome anti-semite Carter is positively evil. Thanks, Jimmy, for the Islamic terror state of Iran, for the thousands of dead because you didn’t keep your oath of office.
George W Bush got almost nothing right except the tax cuts and terrorism which makes him infinitely better than Carter. Enough Carter, history will judge him.
Snubbed by Jimmy Carter? I have to find that story! Drudge?
I wonder if video is still available of the time when Brit Hume asked him about why it took so long to nominate Ruth Bader Ginsburg to the SC. Clinton went absolutely nuts, wagging his finger, face reddening, voice cracking with rage, body heaving. It was full body delirium, with robotic Al Gore next to him with his “lockbox” gaze. Gosh that was funny as all heck. Sad that it is probably lost to history.
I can think of one time and place when he most assuredly had the lip-bite expression on his face…
Oval Office…
um…
er…
