A professor at Oxford predicted the earth was about to enter a cooling period due to a reduction in solar activity (sun spots? solar flares?). He predicted a mini-ice age…so I hope he’s not completely correct!!! I’ll have to retire to Panama. But the good news is you can “buy” the equivalent of their green card by investing just $40k in real estate. Plus, over the next 15 years or so I’m bound to learn enough Spanish here in DC to allow me to get by just fine in Panama.

The Disciples of Globull Warming may consider that a bad sign, but we frequently get a warm spell in winter here and it’s a nice change from the below zero stuff we had a few weeks ago.
