LGM, as an obvious supporter the UN – like all blame America-Israel first lefties – you, above all others, should be the first on this board to condemn that organization’s corruptly inept vetting system in reviewing potential employees and associates – a system that keeps exposing the UN’s reputation to censure and its efforts abroad to scorn, by allowing it to freely interact with reprobates like Dias.

Might I add, Dias is only one in a long series of child abusers discovered to have a working relationship with the UN, an organization supposedly charged with aiding third-world children in dire need.

Yeah, try find the party affiliation in much of the reporting on this. One AP story I saw didn’t give affiliation at all, although I already knew it.

I’ve been saying it for years… The only thing the UN is good for is harming poor, innocent, and defenseless children. From Russia to the Congo, and anywhere else they send “peacekeepers”, they’re molesting small children and raping women, sometimes in exchange for food, and sometimes on film, and the culprits (and there are many) rarely get more than a slap on the wrist.

This link is from an official UN online periodical with one of his articles … at the bottom of the page is a picture and biographical info on Clarence Dias which states the following:

Clarence J. Dias is President of the International Center for Law in Development. He holds doctoral degrees in law from Bombay University and Cornell University and has taught at Boston College of Law School. An expert on the right to development with considerable public interest experience, Dr. Dias is presently consultant to the UN Development Programme on implementation of its policy of integrating human rights with sustainable human development.

Have not yet determined exactly where he is from but from this info the impression is he may be from India or another nearby country in that part of the world …
