The Huffington Post demonstrates its moral superiority and commitment to Obama-esque positivity by breaking out the w-word again. They’re incensed that conservatives on Fox News would dare to express dissenting views of the inaugural festivities.
Dissent no longer equals patriotism. Dissent = RAAAAAAAACISM.

Michelle Malkin Doesn’t Care About Black People
To mark the day, Michelle Malkin kept a whimsical inauguration cliché count, supposedly monitoring utterances of the “First black president in American history” and “We are witnessing history.”
Michelle didn’t hide her contempt for all this attention being paid to Obama or for the credit he’s getting for being our first black president. She also made space on her blog to point out that no one in the media was covering how Obama inauguration celebrant Jay-Z often uses the word “nigga.” Then she uploaded a video on her site to prove it and sniffed, “And you wonder why some of us don’t believe MLK’s dream has been completely fulfilled …”
Now, many of you may be wondering why someone who is of Asian decent would be so antagonistic toward Obama and his background. And while Michelle may be a whore for the far-right — and she is certainly being a good one by discounting this momentous event — it still gives us pause. While most whores love to bring joy to people, it seems this one only seeks to spread hate.
Yeah, that’s me. “Whore for the far-right.” All because I refuse to genuflect at the altar of the far-left’s selective, skin-deep diversity and slaver at the feet of Barack Obama. All because I pointed out the hypocrisy of the post-racialists’ obnoxious racialism.
Perhaps if I instead drooled all over Barack Obama’s presidential blanket like giddy Donna Brazile did in this embarrassing Good Morning America video, they’d pat me on my head and consider me a properly-behaved member of my ethnic group, too:

I am not saying there aren’t worthier things to study, but Tommy is rife with metaphor, allegory and allusions, complex characters, development arcs, like any other great work. I recall taking a practice AP English exam and finding they had used “I Am a Rock” by Simon and Garfunkel one year. I think perfectly appropriately.
Couple of years earlier, in sophomore English, we listened to “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”.

Maybe the left doesn’t see you as a ‘whore’ but a ‘whor’ much like the Obamanation is drawn to the term ‘nigga’. As for the first ‘African American’ president, Obama is no more African American than I am Polish American. I would hope (there’s one of those buzz words) anyone in the top job would consider him or herself, first and foremost, American — despite his or her inability to accurately recite the oath. President Obama blew the oath. I’ll never let the MSM convince me otherwise.
These far-left white guys really don’t know the meaning of “whore” as applied to Michelle. They don’t seem overly concerned that the US taxpayers are being robbed every second of every day to prop up failing businesses. They’re not overly concerned that there is such a cult of personality surrounding Obummer that any “dissent” means you’re either a “racist” or “unpatriotic.” Now juxtapose such assertions with the way the media and liberals treated former Pres. Bush during his time as president.
I’ve known many liberals throughout my 33 years of existence on this rapidly “warming” planet. If any of you grew up in a college town you see these people in action. There are actually 3 types of whores:
1. Economic whores- anybody who’ll do anything for a dollar… do the Obummer vendors selling kitschy “historical momentos” come to mind?
2. Ideological whores- the types who are “slaves” (uh oh I’m a racist) to a political party but don’t give a crap about the country at large.
3. Sexual whores- many “feminists” I used to know who would spread their legs for anything after a night of partying and drinking. If an unexpected consequence arises, have no fear, anything can be sacrificed to continue one’s “sexual daliances.”
As far as I know, Michelle doesn’t fit any of these categories. Michelle calls out the hypocrisy and, as one columnist put it, the uncomfortable relationship between liberals and the black community. Michelle certainly cares about the direction the country is headed not the symbolic gestures of a “black presidency” that finally makes blacks proud of their citizenship. If that’s all it takes to be proud of this country, we’re screwed.
These liberals at Huff ‘n Puff are all about the symbolism and feelings of the moment not the substance and long-term implications of giving into one’s feelings and PC-driven dogma.

You may have missed the post early on when I unequivocally condemned what the two bloggers said about MM, but I did.
This really is not about justifying such behavior. It is the fact that, like these guys here, Coulter says purposefully shocking offensive things in an attempt to either be funny and/or be shocking. Leaving all ideology aside, I find it confusing at best and blatantly hypocritical at worst that so many here see Coulter as such a great voice in the conservative community. She is Howard Stern in high heels.
lgm points this out, not as an attempt to condone such behavior, but to make a commentary on what he feels is a hypocrisy on the part of posters here. Of course, since it is lgm, some here, feel the need to either ignore or be disingenuous about this very big distinction and say absurd things like “lgm advocates calling women whores.” I don’t care what you think of lgm or his politics. This is a patently untrue statement to make. No one is ever called on it because no one here likes lgm, despite the fact that I have never seen him be actively rude to any poster here. Look, I know this is a conservative site, and with that comes bias and giving your side the benefit of the doubt. Everyone does it. All any of us can hope to do is to recognize it and try to improve, which is why I actually do make an effort to be self depricating and/or mock the left. I see the absurdity in some things that come of it. But just because I can be an amusing liberal (lgm would probably call me a “house liberal”) doesn’t mean that I am not going to call out obvious bull when I see it. PK, the validity or lack thereof of her underlying message is absolutely irrelevant. If I were to say something to the effect of: “Damn [derogatory term for Asians]! They are always fu**ing up the grading curve for [derogatory term for blacks]!” That might be true, but it doesn’t make it any less offensive.

I never watch network news (once local news is done, the TV goes off), so maybe I am not the first one to notice this: In the video above of Donna Brazile, my eye was drawn to the ABC logo in the lower left of the screen, in what appeared to be a morphing of the Obama logo with the ABC logo. Or am I just imagining it?

Slightly OT but I suggest we begin a really big push for the 2012, 2016 tickets right now! My suggestion would REALLY tick off “HuffPo (Loony Bin)” but I suggest PALIN/MALKIN for 2012 and then MALKIN/JINDAL for 2016! Those tickets would get my vote in a heart beat!!!
