Another B.O. Republican moment: Specter to support Holder
Apparently, GOP Sen. Arlen Specter just announced in the Senate Gallery that he will support AG nominee Eric Holder.
Jim Long posted Twitter message a few minutes ago.
Quite a busy 24-hour period for the B.O. Republicans, eh?

More details just in from AP:
Sen. Arlen Specter says he will vote for Eric Holder as the next attorney general, paving the way for an almost certain confirmation.
The Pennsylvania Republican had challenged Holder’s record as a Justice Department official during the Clinton administration.
Previously Specter had called Holder’s judgment “inexplicable” for his role in controversial pardons granted by Clinton, including that of fugitive financier Marc Rich.
On Tuesday, on the eve of a Senate Judiciary Committee vote, Specter told reporters he will support Holder’s nomination. Given previously stated GOP support for Holder, his confirmation now appears all but certain.
“Inexplicable.” Exactly the word I’d use to describe Specter’s judgment.

POS
He’s a man ahead of his time. He was a BO back when Republicans were concersvative.
or “conservative” as the case may be…
Too bad the Pats aren’t in the Super Bowl again to keep him distracted.
Most BO Republicans are MIR (Media Intimidated Republicans) or HWIPITMR (How Will it Play in The Media Republicans?)
Explains why Specter voted against Zeitgeitner but will be for Holder.
MIR also explains everything John McCain’s ever done in public office.
They have zero principles.
That’s what they have Democrat constituents for.
BHO’s cabinet of miscreants. Way to show our young how it pays to be a crook. The future looks awfully dim right now.
These people are not bending over; they are face forward, on their knees, willingly taking it. They are willing participants. We are the ones who are being bent over. Unfortunately for most of us, you people keep voting for these Republicans out of loyalty to party instead of loyalty to principles. Vote Libertarian.
Since most of the Senate republicans supported Hillary, we dont have any real conservatives in senate.
Crooks, tax cheats and liars. What’s not to like.
I hope Rick Santorum or some real Conservative can pry this DIABN (Dem in all but name) out of his seat.
Because links to terrorists that want to destroy america really isn’t that big of a deal.
How Disgusting.
I wonder what the bribe was.
When was it that so many in the Republican Party lost their Conservative principles?
In Arlen’s case, did he ever have them?
Specter responds: “My feet are like wings, Sahib!”
“The Marc Rich thing is just a triviality, and honest mistake. Besides, Eric’s well liked, well qualified and a heckuva nice guy.” Sen. Orrin Hatch. (Not really, but it could be a direct quote).
Do we have any conservatives left in Washington?
I know we’ve suppossedly been “trying” to find bin Laden all these years.
But after reading what’s going on in DC, I’m near the point where I *hope* maybe he finds us — again.
In the aggregate, the Idiot American Electorate is so stupid that it seems only another terror attack will remind them (albeit very briefly, once again).
Un-F’ing-believable.
“sheepledrive”
I admire consistency. Specter has consistently been an idiot for years.
I have to same SOMETHING nice about the guy.
HAHAHHHAHHAHAAAAAAA
If you type that in MS Word, error checking gives you a grammer error. Apparently those two words are not supposed to go together!
Specter–The Ghost of Bipartisanship Present.
Look for the quid pro quo in the deStimulus Package. Maybe he and Murtha (spit!) will get a max security prison for the Gitmo Gang afterall.
From Arlene Specter I expect very little and thus I am seldom disappointed.

Nothing more than getting the Angel of Mass Media Death to pass over his house tonight and go bother another Republican.
Spector should stick to getting murderers like Ira Einhorn freed to skip bail and justice for 30+ years, you know, something he’s good at.

I like the way you typed that.
I hope Rick Santorum runs against Arlen Spectacle for his senate seat.
Secter the RINO is a joke. No guts, and not principles. The RNC shoots itself in the ass if they support this loser and not Santorum or a solid conservative.
SWEEEEEEET!
I have a dumb question. What does the BO stand for?
BO = Bend Over
Thanks!
Specter has always just barely qualified as a Republican.
OFF THREAD BULLETIN
Once on this blog today and four times on the radio , I heard the Democratic party talking heads, use the term “money multiplier”. They are trying to use a conservative economic language in-order to make
their spending bill look like supply side economics.
PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS TACTIC.
I’m not surprised. He’s just about the only RINO who can out-RINO McCain.
Santorum won’t oppose Specter (Rick wants to be guv) but he knows Reps who might
Basically, this sums up his reelection hopes. He’s a shoe in to beat anybody.
Stink coming from republicans that love Obama
OhBummer!
Dare I expect any different from Scottish Law?
Now why is it important that Coleman win in Minnesota…when a good 10-15 of the so called Repubs vote democratic anyway? Oh I got it, Republican doesn’t mean conservative anymore, I forgot, sorry.
I’m sorry, but when was Arlen EVER a real Republican? He has been a Democrat for as long as I can remember. Please change that designation after his name just to set the record straight.
Have these people NO SHAME?
Arlen Specter is still calling himself a Republican?? I haven’t heard a republican concept come out of his mouth in a decade.
Republican poobahs will abandon Rick Santorum, discourage a sitting senator Jim Bunning but will vigorously support moonbat-in-training Arlen Specter.
Up is down, left is right, the bottom is the top and all is right within the braintrust of the RNC.
