Thank you to all Republicans in the house. The reason people turned away from teh GOP is because many among you tried to get the opposition to like them. We sent you guys there to oppose the Dems, not get along like long lost buddies.

If the house and senate Republicans keep opposing crap like this, you will see a lot more votes coming your way in 2010. Everyone respects honorable fighters. No one respects collaborators.

Yeah, Bill and I have had many discussions on that topic. He and Irish are still under the delusion that “conservatives” who voted for 3rd party candidates cost McCain the election. Obama clobbered McCain by around 8.5 million votes. All of the other candidates besides Obama/McCain brought in a whopping 1,643,758 votes. They just haven’t grasped this concept for whatever reason.

That said, I have one reservation about your press conference. You must take red magic markers and draw huge circles around the nonsense that the Democrats are trying to include in this bill. What they are trying to do in these difficult times with funding for the NEA, ACORN, and too much else is unconscionable and unpatriotic, and they ought to be ashamed of themselves.

    Dear Patriots,
Money with Democrats is nothing but trash when it is to come out of the people. But it is the one great thing for which most of them are striving, and many of them sacrifice honor, integrity, and justice to obtain it. Don’t let it happen to you.

Keep speaking out against what’s wrong and standing up for what’s right! Don’t listen to the left leaning MSM who’ve been reporting this as a partisan move that had nothing to do with caring about the people or the economy. You know and we know that you did it BECAUSE you care about the people and the economy. Don’t ever vote to get love from the MSM or left wing of this country because they will NEVER give it to you.

Thanks for doing the right thing! I’m thrilled that the House stood on principle and, to a man, voted against this boondoggle. The democrats were partying with $100/serving wagyu steak and martini’s…can a person be any more disconnected from the American public than that???

Bi-partisanship would be nice, but, as you showed, NOT when the other side wrecklessly spends my unborn grand-children’s money.

Many Thanks, once again for sticking to Conservative principles!

Good to know you haven’t paid attention to a single, solitary thing I have ever written.

Alan Keyes… the kid voted for Alan Keyes and then writes that I can’t grasp basic math. It’s enough to give you the kind of headache you get from eating ice cream too fast.

    Michelle,

    Cool beans. I’ll cime in.

Memo to the GOP (and the “Brown State” Dems): you need to keep this up. Remember, Obamalamadingdong is using the artificial crises of global warming and the *ahem* immediate need for economic stimulus to exert central control over the U.S. economy. Don’t let him do it. After all, Obamunism is the central planning we cannot (afford to) believe in. As Americans, we cannot be concerned with what the rest of the world thinks of us. We’ve been rugged and individualistic for 200+ years, and I’d like to think this ethic has served us well so far.

    *out*

To paraphrase another poster, I’m so glad you weren’t swayed by the koolaid offered by the smiling man with the sharp eyes. Please don’t ever be fooled by flattery into stifling your common sense.

My district’s Congresswoman is Gwen Moore D-Wisconsin (Unfortunately). Keeping track of her I believe she is one of dumbest members of congress, maybe ever-some of the things she says are almost as inane as the things that come out of Pelosi’s mouth. Luckily for Wisconsin we have guys like Paul Ryan and Jim Sensenbrenner. Thanks Paul and Jim. Keep fighting the good fight. We are behind you %100.
