John Conyers seems to be pinning his hopes of future glory on getting his sons into high places. He's spending the lion's share of his congressional coin on educating his two sons: he has no assets to speak of, yet he's sending his sons to one of the most pricey private schools in Michigan. Monica Conyer's website contains some interesting pics. She put herself and her sons in the Oval Office driver's seat when Clinton ruled the roost. It is fitting that sludge is the item that could finally bring them back down to earth.

The president of the council was orderly and respectful. She was disorderly and disrespectful. I would have called for a recess and had the police take her to her car to investigate if she had parked properly. With her gone, they could get some real work done.

I can speak for one conservative when I say that the corrupt should be removed regardless of party affiliation.

lgm, will you be a liberal that will speak to the same? Or would you rather continue with the partisan spin on “who is worse”? Even if we agreed with you, does that mean that nothing should be done about corrupt democrats?

Okay lets take that exactly the way you meant it. Who is about to spend more than those three combined? And where are thry getting the money from?

and who had the most corrupt Congressmen in the past decade?

By what standard? My standard is the party that has the most corrupt officals STILL SERVING. That would be the dems.

Now let’s glance over your accusations of Republican follies.
1. Bush’s tax cut brought more money into the Treasury than previous, so your wrong on that point.
2. Invading Iraq, congressional approval over overwhelmingly bipartisan(dumbs agreed, duh).
3. Drug benefit were you referring to part D Medicare drug program or open boarders? In either case, the bill passed by unanimous vote in both houses of congress…and lack of closing the boarder shows the ineptnous of both parties to control our sovereignty.
Nice try though…delve into your research material(kos or huffington) again and come back with some new material and we can scrutinize again and show it ’s ALL Bush’s fault.

Democrats Conyers, Rangel, Dodd, Franken, Geithner, Hastings, Kennedy, Murtha, Holder, etc. continue to serve. The most recent twist by their supporters and te media is that their “mistakes” are now considered to be resume enhancing.

Conversely, Republicans Craig, Gingrich, Stevens, Livingston, etc. are all out of office either through resignation or voted out by the Republicans in their district.

The stench of corruption gets cut out by Republicans; it is celebrated by Democrats, because power trumps principle in their world.
