I know this is outdated, but had to comment. These are the facts from someone who knows..

They committed a fraud using company property. They were fired for the fraud and making it appear that the company was a party to the fraud. They were fired legitimately and would have been fired in a good or bad economic climate.

They had re-mortgaged their house way beyond its value. Had they left their original mortgage alone, they would have been fine financially. Also, with their type of work, they could have arranged for working 2 different shifts so that one could be home with the kids while the other one worked. Rather than trying to commit fraud with the Day-Care, this option would have worked best.

Also, according to the Daily Breeze, the brother-in-law was expecting the family to come live with him in Kansas where they were planning to get themselves back on their feet. The wife's brother was expecting them, he called his sister and when she didn't answer the murderer called him back. Don't think the wife was in on the 'second plan' devised by this evil or sick monster.

Just thought anyone reviewing these comments in the future might want to know the facts. Apparently, the media and Tony VivaLaRaza didn't care about the facts...

The ONLY person who is to blame, the only THING that is to blame, is the foul little freek who wrote that note and pulled that trigger. NO ONE, not the politicians, not the people at Kaiser, not their parents, not the schools, not anything else, living or dead, has ANYTHING WHAT-SO-EVER to do with the deaths of these people.

Why you or anyone else feels the need to place blame on anyone or anything else is amazing and very telling of your character.

It is this blatant lack of a little thing called "personal accountability" that has lead this country into the mess it is in, as well as allowing a Socialist/Marxist into the Oval Office. No one wants to accept responsibility for their own thoughts or deeds. It is not their fault that they signed those mortgage papers without knowing what they said, it is not their fault that they did not utilize the time in school to study and work hard in order to get decent paying jobs, it is not their fault they spent money on credit cards like drunken monkeys, it is not their fault they partake in risky behaviors and become addicted to drugs or get AIDS or other STD's, etc., etc., etc.

It must be someone else's fault. It is the government's, their parents, the schools, television, movies, aliens, ghosts, whatever.

But you see...no one is forced to do anything they do not willingly want to do. Even if the CIA flooded the ghetto with tons and tons and tons of crack cocaine...no one, not anyone forced anyone else to take it. It was the individual who chose to do the things that lead them to their own personal ends, and only ther individual can make the changes, no matter what you are told or believe.

In my usual parlour game mode when an AP story breaks, I Google the writer. Thomas Watkins sure has a fixation for positing the cause of suicides and other harsh realities. Turns out he chonicled the lack of security clearances for military personel due to debt in 2006 and he was a big promoter of the military suicides associated with stress due to combat meme. I don't take anything AP, Reuters, etc say at face value because it is so easy to make the case a story is concluded before it is researched and written. On second thought, for there to be so much misrepresentation, it probably has to be thoroughly researched.

Remember when the story broke about the two kids that were going to go on a racial rampage if Obama won? Google Laura Jakes Jordan. You can do this with almost any of them. The AP reporters generally start with a conclusion and write the story from scant details.

Heya, 30. Good to see your righteous self popping in here still.

Stoptheinvasion, check yourself before you start calling others self-righteous.

Everybody's so offended by everything now, including the belief in God. If mentioning God in a positive way offends you, then you must be a glutton for punishment by being here. For the record, I'm skeptical of the existence of God, but I'm not going to cut on people who believe in Him. Your commentary isn't going to change anyone's mind, especially not with that approach.

My self-righteous rant on this thread is complete. Have a good day.

and sorry, all these posts about how the children are in a better place and “living” in heaven and all that - please. they’re dead.

Not to make light of being dead; however, that is the prerequisite for Heaven/Hell matters.

it was a savage murder of children by total cretins and to try to throw some kind of rationalized positive light on it just to feel better today is kind of childish IMO.

If you don't happen to believe in God and by extension Heaven/Hell that's your deal. But to suggest that those who do are rationalizing this tragedy simply to put a positive spin on this is not only wrong but cruel.

can’t we just face bad news and be adults about it?

Who here hasn't? You may not agree but the buck doesn't stop with you. In fact, this isn't about you or us for that matter.

I'm interested Ervin and Ana's immigration status here. just curious, you know.

also, isn't it interesting how some people choose to have multiple amounts of children regardless of their ability to care for them or feed them? then it's everyone else's fault when they can't care for them or feed them and instead they decide to murder them (that's just so American isn't it? wait, no it's NOT.

and to see the Rat King of the Invaders Tony VivaLaRaza run right out and spout his idiot nonsense and self-aggrandizing posturing over the dead bodies of these crazies was just so swell.

I think suicide should be legal (not child murder of course, just suicide in itself). we'd have a lot less mental illness and problems in our society if we let nature take its course. guess that's why I'll never be President. LOL

also, isn’t it interesting how some people choose to have multiple amounts of children regardless of their ability to care for them or feed them? then it’s everyone else’s fault when they can’t care for them or feed them and instead they decide to murder them (that’s just so American isn’t it? wait, no it’s NOT.

and to see the Rat King of the Invaders Tony VivaLaRaza run right out and spout his idiot nonsense and self-aggrandizing posturing over the dead bodies of these crazies was just so swell.

and sorry, all these posts about how the children are in a better place and “living” in heaven and all that – please. they’re dead. it was a savage murder of children by total cretins and to try to throw some kind of rationalized positive light on it just to feel better today is kind of childish IMO. can’t we just face bad news and be adults about it?

I think suicide should be legal (not child murder of course, just suicide in itself). we’d have a lot less mental illness and problems in our society if we let nature take its course. guess that’s why I’ll never be President. LOL
