The security detail gone, Blago telegraphed his intention to talk last night on the front lawn. Asked the media if they would be available to hear about some of the things he was asked to do by others.

Non-Chicago observers don’t understand the depth of Outfit involvement in the politics of Illinois. It’s on both sides of the aisle. Daley is the big fish in Illinois, Obama is just a sideshow. The unions are fronts for the Outfit as are cities and construction companies. Any talk threatens a lot of people.

Blago better cook his own food, and jog in the daytime. Be careful around the in-laws too, there are a couple of ‘made’ relatives at every get together.

In Washington, LaHood will be the Outfit’s man at the table — loads of juicy contracts through shortly.

By the way, anyone know the breakdown by party in the Illinois Senate? I haven’t seen or heard that reported.

You guys, I noticed that too last night on the local news. They made it PAINFULLY clear that he was losing his security detail. Now why would they even make a point of reporting that? Point blank, they want him dead before he could bring down the Dark Messiah. Oh please, Blago, sing for us!!!

I feel awful–just really, really bad. And embarrassed–I always thought the lead singer of that song was a woman.

I am so ashamed. But it makes more sense that it is a man singing it.

Next, someone is going to tell me that CCR was NOT singing about a bathroom on the right (“Bad Moon Rising”).

I don’t feel bad about Blago though.
