Rush responds

MoveOn.org hasn’t moved on yet from demonizing Rush Limbaugh.

He responded to their latest attack ad last night on Mark Levin’s show.

Radio Equalizer Brian Maloney’s got the scoop.

    Tell that to Trent Lott.

And Ann Coulter, who was pilloried for having the guts to push-back against John Edwards with her own remark.

Note that when Edwards outed Dick Cheney’s daughter on the campaign trail, gratuitously disguising it as a show of “support” for her lifestyle choice, the MSM, instead of attacking Edwards lack of tact, immediately took the bait and went after the Cheney family.

Same here with this situation: the MSM took Obama’s “one” comment – w/o questioning Obama’s motives or reasons for saying it – and have attacked Rush ever since. (I saw on Newsbusters, PMSNBC’s Nora O’Donnell nearly had a conniption that Republicans wouldn’t denounce Rush.)

It’s very small minded of Obama to attack Rush at a time when America needs top-down leadership; but it’s idiotic and dangerous in a supposedly free society, for the MSM to resume their Leftist water carrying ways by enabling Obama to attack their counterparts in the new media w/o question.

If you stand up for a man who gleefully played “Barack The Magic Negro”

There is nothing wrong with that song!

Admittedly, to understand it, you have to actually hear it, and have an understanding of the events that led up to it:

–discussions about whether Bambi, who is not the descendant of slaves, was, or could be, “authentically” black,

–that Joey Biden said finally! a “clean” and “articulate” black man was running for president, which annoyed former candidate Al Sharpton (who showers regularly),

–and that a black LA Times columnist actually went so far as to call Bambi a “magic negro.”

    Not Limbaugh. The LA Times.

The lyrics themselves beautifully explain the point:
“The LA Times, they called him that, because he’s black but not authentically…”

The song didn’t start from out of nowhere.

The last time the Dems tried to mess with Rush, he raised over $2 million for a charity that supports the families of US Marines. Liberals like to use other people’s money (i.e., taxes) rather than their own.

Yup, indeed Cheryl. America is seeing why Obama is not “ready for prime time”, his rank amateurism is on full display. This is just so embarrassing to the office of President.

Unfortunately for Obama and for America, being the narcassist he is, he becomes fixated on those who take him to task and speak badly of him, this flaw in his character will ruin him.

Yup, again. It’s the same obsessive thin skin that help bring Nixon down. At least Nixon was smart enough not to publicly announce his “enemies list”.

He’s not been in office a month and he is already addressing people he should ignore if he wants to be President.

Triple yup. But Obama has had this problem for a long time. Hannity opens his radio show with audios of Obama’s obsession with him. Now, Obama’s obsessive jihad is focused on Limbaugh.

Fortunately, though the Soros-Obama axis has mountains of money to wage jihad on Rush and other critics, Rush and the critics have the intelligence, common sense and hours of airtime to expose Obama. Obama just doesn’t hold up to scrutiny – and he knows it.

Are we being told that Free Speech is to solely a Left Wing privilege? The answer would be yes.

Why do you suppose, since the can & will pass it all on their own, they are panicked the Republicans aren’t jumping on their bandwagon? Some economists are predicting that the economy will remain flat for another two years yet. All this government intervention is only going to prolong the pain.

If things don’t turn around by 2012, the Democrats are going to be hard pressed to use their usual tactic of blaming the Republicans. This is what scares a party with as much power as they now have. They have no one left to blame. The very tools they used to get their newly acquired position are now useless to them and, worse, can be deployed against them. Politically speaking, I believe they would have been better off if they had control of only one house.

So… Like an old dog, they’re still trying the old tricks. They’ll play the “Republicans aren’t playing with us” card for as long as they can and blame Rush. On this, I’ll agree with RSS. Pres. Obama only spoke to the Republicans in order to try and suck them further into the damned if you do, damned if you don’t scenario. I honestly don’t believe that he or Nancy ever expected a complete stand.

Even setting aside the many “that was then, this is now” differences, Chappy, you’re overlooking the one major difference I mentioned in my previous comment:

The Democrats will be forced to run against against their own economic policy. That’s why they are refusing to own it in the here and now.

Of course, Obama could launch a nuke attack on Israel and start a World War to salvage the nation from his own economic policy . It worked for the Democrats in the 1940s. But then again that might be considered a bit drastic in this day and age.
