Daschle is a criminal X2: (1) a tax cheat and selling favors while in ofice; (2) criminally STUPID! The combination of these two elements define the democRAT party. Nancy Pelosi, suffering from Alzheimer’s, claims we lose 500,000,000 jobs a month while diverting billions of dollars to her “friends” who will make sure her husband’s business is booming and she collects millions after leaving office for, “speaking tours.” Who could possibly want to hear this pathetic woman spout incoherent blather spiked with almost non-stop bloopers? Did you say, “Morons?” BO thinks there are 57 states, has filled his cabinet with crooks and those who are enemies of our Constitution and promises, “HOPE,” while smoking cigarettes – can you say heart attack and lung cancer? The guy is a moron – no wonder the journalists love him – they could always bum a cigarette off of him and smoke on his UN blue plane. Of course if BO goes up in smoke (is that a pun?) we get Biden – but think of the small CO2 footprint he has. Without almost any brain function, his basal metabolic rate is 20% lower! How green is that? WHEN Biden dies from self strangulation from putting both feet in his mouth, we get PELOSI. OMG – please everyone help BO stop smoking!

As for this other mess, I think he (Oblahblah) knew for some time, and they were trying to figure out how to get around it…or whether he would get the Geithner treatment.

The committee had a report on this well before there was any public mention of this.

…and Daschle admitted there was something last June that made him think he should pay taxes on his driver/limo.

Prolly something like Oblahblah’s poll numbers.

Credit where it’s due. Nothing more to read into it than that. I’m just relieved one of these corrupt nominees had a moment of lucidity and decided to pull himself out of the running. I’m of the belief that the occasional gift of grace can be a virtue. I need all the recognition of virtue I can get, not that anyone here should give a crap about my personal imperfections.

Exactly. I just don’t think BHO gets sad or has regrets about the kinds of things most people would be sad about, you know, like people killing babies, or leaving them to die in a laundry room.
