Bungle-mania: A D’OHbama Transition Progress Report

Before I get to my syndicated column today, I must remind you of an unctuous, heavy-breathing piece written by New York Times columnist David Brooks on Nov. 21 of last year. Seems like eons ago. I blogged about the bordering-on-obscene column in a post titled “Ivy League ejaculations.” Here’s a bit of Brooks’ paean to The One :
Jan. 20, 2009, will be a historic day. Barack Obama (Columbia, Harvard Law) will take the oath of office as his wife, Michelle (Princeton, Harvard Law), looks on proudly. Nearby, his foreign policy advisers will stand beaming, including perhaps Hillary Clinton (Wellesley, Yale Law), Jim Steinberg (Harvard, Yale Law) and Susan Rice (Stanford, Oxford D. Phil.).
The domestic policy team will be there, too, including Jason Furman (Harvard, Harvard Ph.D.), Austan Goolsbee (Yale, M.I.T. Ph.D.), Blair Levin (Yale, Yale Law), Peter Orszag (Princeton, London School of Economics Ph.D.) and, of course, the White House Counsel Greg Craig (Harvard, Yale Law)…
… Already the culture of the Obama administration is coming into focus. Its members are twice as smart as the poor reporters who have to cover them, three times if you include the columnists. They typically served in the Clinton administration and then, like Cincinnatus, retreated to the comforts of private life — that is, if Cincinnatus had worked at Goldman Sachs, Williams & Connolly or the Brookings Institution. So many of them send their kids to Georgetown Day School, the posh leftish private school in D.C. that they’ll be able to hold White House staff meetings in the carpool line.
And yet as much as I want to resent these overeducated Achievatrons (not to mention the incursion of a French-style government dominated by highly trained Enarchs), I find myself tremendously impressed by the Obama transition…
Most of all, they are picking Washington insiders. Or to be more precise, they are picking the best of the Washington insiders.
Obama seems to have dispensed with the romantic and failed notion that you need inexperienced “fresh faces” to change things. After all, it was L.B.J. who passed the Civil Rights Act. Moreover, because he is so young, Obama is not bringing along an insular coterie of lifelong aides who depend upon him for their well-being.
As a result, the team he has announced so far is more impressive than any other in recent memory…
…Believe me, I’m trying not to join in the vast, heaving O-phoria now sweeping the coastal haute bourgeoisie. But the personnel decisions have been superb. The events of the past two weeks should be reassuring to anybody who feared that Obama would veer to the left or would suffer self-inflicted wounds because of his inexperience. He’s off to a start that nearly justifies the hype.
– Smarty pants/panting smarty David Brooks, NYT, 11/21/08
Ick. Clearing away the overflowing drool bucket. How do you like them apples now, Mr. Brooks? The “overeducated Achievatron” president is, by his own admission, a royal screw-up. And the hits keep coming. Stefan Sharkansky gives you the scoop on incompetent-o-crat Ron Sims, who’s up for the No. 2 job at HUD. Labor Secretary nominee Hilda Solis is clueless about the policies and regulations she would oversee. ObamaNoms.com has all the latest on other brewing problems.
The Associated Press, carrying water for their dear leader, tries to convince us that Obama has been “humbled.” Bah.
Actions speak louder than words.

All the president’s tax cheats

You never get a second chance to make a first post-inaugural impression. Less than three weeks into his first 100 days, Barack Obama has left an indelible mark on his nascent presidency: The mark of incompetence and hubris. Despite the administration’s much-touted wealth of bright minds and high bars, the transition has been a complete disaster.
In a double whammy on Tuesday, tax troubles and ethical clouds forced the withdrawal of not one, but two, high-profile Obama nominees. These come on the heels of former Commerce Secretary nominee Bill Richardson’s withdrawal due to a pay-for-play probe in New Mexico and Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner’s “tax goofs” involving failure to pay $43,000 in federal self-employment taxes for four separate years – until, that is, he was nominated for his Obama post. Thorough vetting, it seems, is an inconvenient process – a pesky “distraction,” if you will — in the Land of Hope and Change.
Health and Human Services Secretary designee Tom Daschle finally bowed out after aggressive rehabilitative efforts failed. His chummy Senate pals on both sides of the aisle may have been willing to forgive his failures to pay longstanding back taxes owed on limo services, undisclosed consulting fees and dubious charitable donations worth an estimated $146,000, including interest and penalties. But the American people were not. (And an interesting postscript: He may have apologized and dropped out of the administration, but Daschle still owes Medicare taxes equal to 2.9 percent of the personal value of the car service he received from his crony Democrat donor Leo Hindery Jr.)
Just before the Daschle announcement came the withdrawal of Nancy Killifer. She was tapped to be President Obama’s “Chief Performance Officer” overseeing compliance, organizational effectiveness, and waste management across every federal agency. But the former Clinton Treasury official and head of the prestigious Washington office of management consulting firm McKinsey & Company, Inc., couldn’t be bothered to manage her own household help effectively. She failed for a year and a half to pay employment taxes and had an outstanding tax lien on her home. The lien was worth less than $1,000 – far less than the tax liability Treasury Secretary Geithner owed.
If I were a left-wing feminist, I’d be sorely tempted to whip out the gender card and give the Good Old Boys’ Club a few whacks. Killifer gets thrown under the bus, but Geithner gets to drive? No justice, no peace!
Now, compare President Bush’s transition track record in 2001. Remember the traditional 100-day period was shortened as a result of the election lawsuit. Wrote Paul Light of the left-leaning Brookings Institution at the time: “Bush gets an A on the transition into office. He survived his truncated 40-day transition with only one major mistake—Linda Chavez, who withdrew her nomination for Labor Secretary after the flap over allowing an illegal immigrant to stay in her house…Bush also deserves an A+ for the timely assembly of his White House team. Building around Vice President Dick Cheney, the Bush White House is an MBA’s dream: efficient, predictable, well controlled, on time, under budget.”
During Tuesday’s press briefing, glib White House spokesman Robert Gibbs did his best to bat down a rising chorus of questions about his boss’s judgment – not only on the nomination “glitches,” but also on an ever-growing list of exemptions to Obama’s no-lobbyists pledge. Echoing Bill Clinton’s “most ethical administration ever” and Nancy Pelosi’s “most ethical House ever” mantras, Gibbs defensively asserted: “The bar that we set is the highest that any administration in the country has ever set.”
Then how, pray tell, did all the president’s tax cheats make it past the front door? And where’s Vice President Joe Biden to wag his finger at their lack of patriotism? Team Obama embraced these damaged candidates despite advanced knowledge of their lapses. Killifer’s tax lien was four years old. Questions about Daschle’s judgment have lingered for years. Ask GOP Sen. John Thune, who defeated Daschle the Dodger in 2004 after news broke of his bogus property-tax homestead exemption claim on his $1.9 million D.C. mansion – which he listed as his primary residence despite voting in South Dakota and claiming it as his primary residence in order to run for re-election.
The buck stops at the desk of Barack Obama. A little more of that humility and personal responsibility he spoke so much about during his inaugural address are now in order.

Maybe Obama and his team are smarter than you want to give them credit for. Look at all the additional tax revenue he is generating by nominating prominent Democrats to high positions. I figure Charles Rangel and Marc Rich should be nominated soon. At this rate, we can balance the federal budget in no time.
Well written Michelle.
I can remember repeatedly posting after the election when Brooks and others were writing the Odes to Obama that you reference, that on January 20th the hype was over and Obama would have to perform, and we would see how much substance there was.
Now we know.
Ron Sims at HUD (or anywhere else)????
In addition to the article mentioned, that fool was the Mayor of Seattle when the WTO Riots broke out, and at no time did he or Governor Gary locke call out the National Guard..The City of Seattle and King County Police were almost overwhelmed (and exhausted) after days of containing anarchist nonsense and vandalism…real competence…not!
He-he.
This has always ticked me off.
Why the hell are these morons being held in such high esteem. I have been around long enough to understand what being highly skilled is really about. It’s is not the fancy degree, nor the high IQ. It is not the Ivy league university, or the contacts daddy gave you. It is not how well you speak, or your charisma.
A skilled person is one who applies knowledge that all specialties must have but they do it with
INTEGRETY
“The Associated Press, carrying water for their dear leader…”
Seems fitting they use the drool bucket for this task.
Oh YA!
Sarah Palin went to the University of Idaho. Not good enough for the elite.
One thing that David Brooks has proven with his list is that there is no direct correlation between head knowledge and honor.
If these are the sort that BO thinks can lead us into the undiscovered country, he’s as dumb as dirt
He’s trying to turn Washington DC into Chicago DC.
Big hat, no cattle.
Poor David Brooks. You better hope the Times doesn’t charge people to read your columns.
Recorded over 25 years ago, it’s practically prophetic in light of current events. But it’s not prophesy…it’s Soviet Ideological Subversion.
The Obamas reveal what “Change” Means
In Obama’s first week,
the audacity of deceipt
As much as Daschle’s and Killifer’s tax issues are annoying, the biggest problem of all is the tax cheat we now have in the treasury.
I wonder how kind history will be to Obama 20 years from now?
I’m suprised that everyone is suprised. These are politicians. What were they expecting Saints?
That depends on how revisionist it is.
I read this morning that Obama is now limiting the pay of executives in financial institutions. It begins. First, you give them money, then you move in and begin the nationalization. Completely unconstitional, but, these days, who cares about a Constitution? Healthcare profession will be next. But right now, I wonder if the future will see the government monitoring everybody’s investments and bank accounts.
For those who don’t know, democrat Ron Sims presided over the worst-handled close governor’s race ever, when it came to counting the votes in a race that was won by 129 votes. Out of 3 million. And there were 3,000 MORE VOTES THAN VOTERS. The republican candidate was robbed completely by the Sims-appointed flunky in the King county (Seattle) elections department. This is not a win for the people of the U.S. to have this guy in the number 2 spot at HUD, trust me.
FamilyMan, I ~hate~ it when that happens (re: #5). And I’ve had plenty of occasions for personal remorse. Why don’t you sent MM an email and ask her to fix it for you? (Most of the world is asleep and has not read it yet.)
(I ~knew~ I’d make a typo if I put up my previous post. What goes around, comes around.)
But more importantly, these people aren’t patriotic enough, per the vice president. Remember, paying taxes is your patriotic duty, so says Plugs.
How do you tell if a Democrat is breaking the law?
His lips are moving.
Too bad so few of his ethically-hobbled appointees can clear it.
Perhaps he should simply set “felonious conviction” as the only qualification limit. The questionnaire could read something like “have you ever worn a jumpsuit in a court of law?”
You’ve got a rookie in the white house, trying to follow the liberal line and policies. What did you expect?
To Democrats and their leaders, the word “ethics” has no real meaning. In the great world of politically correct liberalism, everything is relative so “ethics” can mean whatever you want it to mean.
Bill Clinton was a master of linguistic distortion. He could switch positions on a dime. I was constantly amazed that his emotional supporters couldn’t see his complete reversals, some of which came in the same sentence during a talk or speech. We are in trouble when we can’t distinguish the artful garbage of a politicians from the world’s realities.
Too late Dave, your homoerotic man crush is well documented…. At least he admitted that he was trying not to fall head over heels…
Limbo anyone? How low can it go?
Yeah right. Give me a freaking break.
More like Willie Best cast as Chauncey Gardiner.
Yesterday, on Hannity’s radio show, he mentioned an article detailing the blunders of the administration todate. I believe it came from the Washington Post. However, I cannot find the article. Can someone here provide a link to it?
Thanks!
Pigs at the trough. All pigs are equal, but some are more equal than others. Business as usual for the Dems. And for the Republicans, who protest (but weakly) and who say meekly they want to work with the Dems to get things done. All quite civil. After all the money pot never goes empty! And they all, all of them, believe government is the solution.
It’s like they say these things just to see if they’ll stick. Kind of like overempasizing a lie to make it more believable. What a bunch of schmuks.
I’d be willing to bet that he didn’t pay D.C. income taxes either, claiming that SD was his primary residence.
Screw up after screw up and they haven’t done much yet-hold on tight this train is out of control.
Taxes? Only little people pay taxes. Was that Leona Hemsley or Tom Daschle? I seem to remember only one of them went to jail.
The all-purpose, “they all do it” defense.
Does anyone have any hope at all when everything crooked and shady is defended by using the all purpose, “they are all crooks” defense?
We expect honest, integrity and common sense, and if we don’t get it we don’t just say, “oh well”, we give our opinions and try to improve the government we have in whatever way we can.
As long as MM is thinking of Presidential ejaculations, let’s say that Obama showed he’s more of a man than Bush ever was. Bush never once admitted a mistake on his part. Oh, others in his administration may not have lived up to expectations, but Bush himself, never.
Now Obama nominated someone who, it turned out, lied on his application form and was caught. Two days later it turns out that guy will not be confirmed. Yes, Obama showed bad judgement in initially supporting Daschle.
Yes, liberals wish all of the Obama picks were 100% clean. Why don’t they complain more than they are? Because they are so grateful to have a President who isn’t 100% dirty – Bush.
It’s not too early to pronounce Obama a “miserable failure”.
Which Obama knew before he nominated him. Daschle is withdrawing because it looks bad poltically, not because Obama does not like him.
In addition, Daschle was a super-lobbyist! Supposedly Obama was going to prohibit lobbyists from serving in his administration. So add one more lie to the already lengthy list of lies Obama has racked up.
lgm #35,
Do you want to give examples of unethical behavior by Bush administration officials, or the man himself, or just vent?
The topic is the gap between the president’s promises and his performance. So far, I’m not encouraged. I don’t know whether the issue is competence or integrity, but something is lacking. The administration and the country are not off to a good start.
How can this troll possibly post such drivel? I assume it is with a smirk on its mug. Bush…100% dirty? Obama…just one little error? Revisionist history being written by lgm just a bit too soon. People are living this right now! At least wait until people go on to something else and have a chance to forget what really happened.
Great column, Michelle.
The first two weeks since the coronation have been very interesting as the chickens come home to roost.

How dare you call yourself a liberal? Liberals do not believe in slander. And they don’t prop up their own people with lies about others. Shame on you.
And, Liberals rightly supported the effort in Iraq.

The truth is, George Bush, Hillary Clinton, Joe Lieberman and John McCain, all better represent Liberal ideas in action than Barack Obama.
And this fella is the one making decisions that will directly effect our safety…nuff said..
That’s better. No offense PKAmmoTroop.
This is just the tip of the iceberg and it’s rotten.
Have you no respect? Drivel happens to be the Sacred Language of the Church of Hopetology. It is written that whenever the Dear Holy Prophet Obama is praised, such praise must be offered in the form of drivel.
LGM has become quite fluent in drivel, much like Andrea Mitchell, Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews, Paul Krugman, David Brooks, Joy Behar, Brian Williams, Meredith Vieira … all let the praise for their messiah pour from their mouths in the form of drivel.
In fact, it’s fair to say, no one can properly praise or worship Obama without speaking drivel.
You cannot be taken seriously because you post in absolutes. You are so frankly partisan, you damage any credibility you might have here.
Emoting.
Never, eh? You sure you want to stand behind that absolute? Bush admitted errors on several occasions. The difference between Bush then and Obama now is that the media was almost constantly bombarding him about any misstep, minor or otherwise. If it were not for the public outcry about Daschle, he would be a secretary now and Obama would not even be talking about the double-standard.
You view this as Obama being a better man. Many of us view it as nothing more than a ploy. We have been told by liberals for so long that Obama is so super smart, yet now he’s apologizing for not realizing that nominating tax evaders might be a problem? Which is it? You can’t have it both ways.
…and herein you destroy any remaining credibility. The Ad Nauseum Tu Quoque has got to be old, even for you.
100%, huh? You can find absolutely no redeeming qualities in the man and expect to then convince us here that Obama is so much more magnificent?
This is why you’re called a Troll, lgm. You’re not truly interested in having a discussion. You are just here to vent your anger and point your finger at all those bad, bad Republicans.
duh1 just ain’t smart
never was either
if only folks gave a damn about where he was born, we might not be having duh1 problems.
Ha!! Good one.
I agree. We haven’t heard the last of this issue, even though many say that it has been resolved (including MM). If there is nothing to hide, why is he hiding the original birth certificate? That is the most damning piece of evidence! He IS hiding something! The “chickens will come home to roost” in good time.
More proof that what Liberals say is exactly the opposite of what they mean.
Lets hope the Annointed One continues to have these ethical, er, lapses, with his appointees, and can’t concentrate on his real goal, changing the United States from a representative Democracy with a capitalism economic system into a one party socialist regime.
We knew he was an empty suit. We knew he was not ready for the job. We knew he past associations ie: Ayers, Rev. Wrong, Muslim schooling, Community rabble rouser, and on and on. We have a POTUS getting on the job training!
Not to liberals.
Yup…hope and change. I sure hope he changes.
Setting the highest standards for an administration doesn’t mean diddley squat when you appoint tax cheats to high positions, especially the one who oversees our taxes. Our POTUS is in another dream world and doesn’t know how to wake up. It has been two weeks and we still have a long four years to go.
Am I the only one who finds it ironic that the head of the IRS can’t do his own taxes? I bet I am not.
Well, considering that these are the leaders of the Democratic party that are going to lead America with their superior intellects and they don’t seem to understand the tax code [sarc], isn’t this an argument for a flat tax?
No, you are not. This whole fiasco would be hilarious if it weren’t so serious. It almost seems as if the messiah is trying to look dumb. Either that, or he thinks his subjects are still brainwashed into believing all his decisions are made from on high and mustn’t be questioned.
If you think about it, where you went to college is a description of how good a student you were in high school. All of these Ivy Leaguers that David Brooks drools over were all essentially smart teenagers.
Caring about where someone over the age of 25 went to college is the pseudo-intellectual equivalent of being attracted to shiny objects. That’s why the intelligentsia told us that Caroline Schlossberg was qualified to be a U.S. Senator, but Sarah Palin wasn’t qualified to be vice-president.
The only places where your college still matters are Manhattan and DC. How’s that been working? Think about this–most of the people who have screwed up this country’s financial situation wouldn’t be working for those companies had they not gone to Harvard or some other Ivy League school.
Anybody over the age of 25 who still brags about where he or she went to college shouldn’t be taken seriously. (Think Andy Bernard from “The Office.”) You’re allowed to frame and hang your diploma and own a couple of college t-shirts and sweatshirts, but that’s it.
In other news…
Audio: Al Gore Tells Kids Not To Listen To Their Parents About Global Warming
Great points. I’d underscore your comment that those individuals that got into Ivy League schools were smart in high school, but potentially under-challenged in college.
Dude… An attempted subject change with a link back to your own blog?
Adding to the “most ethical administration ever” meme, Tim Geithner presaged Obama’s in-progress press conference chiding unethical executive behavior. Now THAT is rich! The tax-cheating head of the Treasury and IRS is calling business leaders crooked.
Tone deaf.
Here’s more, Obama just used the noseholders’ favorite mantra in defending McCain: “Don’t let perfection be the enemy of the good.”
Hahahahahahaha! There is no shortage of laughs when watching our entrenched criminal class of windbags moralizing to us.
I am glad that Obama’s deep vetting process is allowing such things to open up and hence the culprits not getting coveted jobs. I am sure tax issues like these would not even have surfaced in Bush administration appointees because the information never comes out. They were just buried /ignored or just plain arrogantly shut down.
You people are amazing – the economy lost 700,000 jobs in January and look what you’re talking about.
Spin, baby, spin.
Let me see if I have this straight. It was Obama’s vetting process that brought these facts to light? And then when it became known, Obama still stood beside Daschle only to later have him withdraw?
How do you explain Geithner (a culprit) still getting a coveted job: the secretary of treasury, no less?
This is all part of Obama’s vetting plan?
Was your television in the shop during the confirmation hearing of every Bush appointee?
No, more realistically the Democrats believed that with overwhelming control over the House and Senate, they would not have to worry about confirmations.
happyscrapper said:
I don’t know anything about this birth certificate conspiracy, but y’all need to keep quiet about it!
Suppose this all turns out to be true, that Obama isn’t eligible to be President. That would make Joe Biden our President. Obama may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but at least compared to Biden, Obama is “articulate and clean.”
All you’d get with this is a President Biden and a Nancy Pelosi who is one step closer to becoming our President.
Think!
Again with the “you people”?
If you’re going to come here and threadjack, you should include not just the number of jobs but the unemployment rate given that is a more meaningful statistic.
And arrogance (according to AP)!
I guess all those recitations of Reinhold Niebhur by Obama don’t have much to do with competent governing.
Maybe Christopher Buckley, Kathleen Parker, or David Frum can “correct” us.
Salt, you need to watch the confirmation hearings. The Senate Republicans are every bit as appalling as the Senate Dems. There’s a “there but for the grace of God go I.” thing going on here. Keep in mind that Bob Dole defended Daschle without pointing out that he is currently employed by the same lobbying firm that paid Daschle his millions. The depth and breadth of the corruption we are dealing with is breath-taking.
Beautiful. You might want to note your sarcasm next time as some might take you seriously.
Although it’s hard to imagine.
This thread is about Obama’s dumb picks for his administration, not about the economy. Perhaps you ventured into the wrong thread? I can’t believe you are trying to change the subject. That would be, well, trollish.
I have been [watching the hearings] and I agree that the Senate Republicans aren’t really the ones that managed to get Richardson and Daschle to withdraw. Heck, the slobbering by some Republicans over Daschle was sickening.
My point was:
- The disclosure and pressure on these appointees is not coming from Obama’s vetting process.
- Counter to the claim that Bush’s appointees had their past swept under the rug, they were grilled to great lengths in the Senate confirmation hearings. We’re not seeing that same level of enthusiasm today, from either party.
Brooks is a simpering sycophant of the one’s perceived glory.
D’oh. I guess I did. If brad_sk was being sarcastic, I missed it.
Whoops.
Salt, I wasn’t challenging your statements since I agree with you. I was just elaborating by pointing out that the problem is bipartisan and broad throughout the upper echelons of the business and political worlds.
Here’s another example of tone deafness: Michael Milken advising Obama on financial issues. At this point, I would like to recall everyone’s dictionaries as defective and replace them with the standard Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary.
Now that all of these miscreants are out of the running, let’s look at Obama’s next wave:
Sec HHS: Michael “420″ Phelps
Commerce: Chuck “Stimulate the Economy or I’ll visit your home” Manson
Performance: Heidi “I’ll show you REAL performance” Fleiss
Sounds like a first class crew. Squeaky clean.
ETHICAL: current Washington DC definition:
“He/she agrees with me, he/she contributed to my campaign, and I own him/her a favor.”
Good post
Agreed.
I’ve posted similar comments before.
I have always agreed, and still agree, with Robert J. Samuelson as described in his article of ~10 years ago, “The Wortheless Ivy League?”:
http://www.newsweek.com/id/90037
After a little while, when one’s boss asks one, “What have you done for me lately?”, he is not going to care squat about one’s educational “pedigree”.
RobM1981 – Gosh – that was SO FUNNY! Especially the Heidi Fleiss reference. You’re killin’ me!
It’s funny to see lgm talking about the “manliness” of the current incumbent. He’s been in office two weeks, and he already has to head for an elementary school to read “My Pet Goat” (or whatever) because he and Bruno are tired of being in the White House??? He’s learning tht there’s a huge difference between criticizing and making campaign promises, and actually sitting at the head of the table with every head turned your way waiting for a politically impossible decision you’re going to be forced to make. He’s discovering that being the President involves more than riding in limo’s and flying around on AF-1. It’s going to be a loooong four years, Dude.
It doesn’t matter what the topic is! Good grief! Now we have topic police? If you don’t like the topic just go away.
…and get your facts straight didn’t SanFranGranNan say something about 500,000,000 jobs?
Funny, nothing ever stopped you from complaining about Bush. Good economy, bad economy, war going well, war going poorly, you always managed to complain. And it didn’t stop you from doing so in hysterical, factually incorrect ways.
But let’s say your comment isn’t a completely partisan non sequiter, and do please fill us in: exactly what conditions have to be met before we can criticize the POTUS for surrounding himself with criminals? By what multiple of median household income do these people need to cheat on their taxes before we can legitimately complain about them? Tell us what exactly your messiah has to do before we’re finally allowed, in your eyes, to recognize fault in him.
Primarily due to greedy, corrupt bankers, politicians, and lobbyists who think ethics are just for the little people.
IOW, people like Tim Geithner, Eric Holder, and Tom Dashcle.

I don’t care. I just want my house and lotsa gas.
This is fun!! It’s like when you’re keeping score at a baseball game and in the first inning you’ve already had to change the second inning column to a 1. Then, you’ve already had scratch off 3 starters because they can’t even make it to the plate in the first inning!! My scorecard is really looking pretty sloppy.
When are they going to change the pitcher? He already looks pretty beat up!!
Funny how this kind of seething partisan outrage would have been labelled a mental disorder just a few weeks ago. Personally, I don’t think you’re crazy. You’re just a bunch of drama queens. “OMG it’s been a complete disaster!” Easy, girl. Deep breaths.
This is exactly what The Hills would be like if it were a political blog. I can’t decide if you’re Heidi or Audrina. I’m gonna go with Heidi, since she’s a Republican.
