    Just think want the MSM could do by looping this quote. Look at what they did to Howard Dean after Iowa in 2004? Look at what they did to Palin on SNL. They even came up with quotes that Palin never said, but once they played them over and over, many people attributed them to her.

    It’s not a private jet, it is one of the executive jets the Air Force has to support the Prez, VP, Secretaries of State, Defense, Congresspeople, and visiting dignitaries etc who we must keep safe and ensure that they get to where they are needed with a minimum of hassle and don’t get strip searched by TSA like the hoi-polloi.

    SFNan wasn’t happy with a smaller jet (think Gulfstream — which can fly non-stop DC to SF) because she wanted to travel with her minions and hangers-on as she jetted back and forth between SF and DC.

    When he was the Speaker Dennis Hastert was OK with the smaller jet, but he didn’t have the same size ego that requires a MUCH larger cargo hold!

    BTW, Air Force One is NOT just the 747 we all see. It is a call-sign used on any AF aircraft that is carrying the Prez, could be a Gulfstream, C-21 (Lear) or even a two-seat trainer. Likewise, when he is on a Marine helo, it is Marine One.
