   Don’t those people in Washington do any real-time tracking of news on the ground or are they just a bunch of foolish reactionaries? They focus on unemployment numbers, which may be a lagging trend, and fail to look for signs of economic thawing.

   Same goes with the stimulus bill. Scrap that piece of garbage and focus on prying loans from the grubby hands of bailed out banks and burning all of the toxic paper they created.

    Like hearing from harry reid how important it is to ’slam this bill in as fast as possible’. Everyone knows at best, it will take years for it to do anything. There will be no difference in it’s effect to the economy if it passes this month or next. The only real difference will be that the people will actually get to read and hear more about what is in it.

    Now as we already know, the members of the senate, and those in the house, will claim that they never actually read the details later due to the urgency of it all!

    Film – I’m sorry to disagree here. If reducing taxes to a few is good – why not everybody who’s job is at risk. I say – zero federal income tax for everybody that does not work for the federal government.
    (I’m picking up on your idea of class warfare though – the government class vs. the working class)
