So I now propose the “F-Chip” for all AM radios sold in Amerika! (Talk radio can be be banned from FM and made music only). Firstly we divide the dial into two parts roughly at 1000 KHz. Evil Korrupt Konservative Kapitalist stations can have the lower half from 535-1000 and the supreme truth can be broadcast between 1000 and 1605.

The F-Chip will only allow you to tune in to one half or the other for some maximum amount of time, say 6 hours. So if you listen to the evil Kapitalist stations for 6 hours, the F-Chip will stop receiving reception on the lower frequencies. In order to continue receiving on the lower frequencies, you must tune to the upper glorious supreme truth frequencies and build back allowable time on the lower again.

Conrades, we have the technology to insure fairness – automatically! I will write to my representative comrade John Tierney to consider introducing this idea in the House and have no more of this senseless arguing on how to insure fairness on AM radio.

Omu, just so you are aware: I would be just as vicious in fighting the “Fairness Doctrine” regardless of political leanings. It was a bad law and it should have stayed dead after the Supreme Court struck it down.

If liberal talk shows are failing, it is not the job of the successful ones to carry them on their backs. It never was.
