It is so obviously false that anyone with even the most basic reasoning skills would know that it's not true. This isn't a bending of the truth. It's plainly and obviously false. When politicians are being sleazy, that don't make statements that are impossible to justify. This is quite clearly a misstatement (regardless of how many times she's said it.) To claim otherwise makes me seriously question one's sincerity (are they really mad about the comment, or are they just looking for a reason to be upset?)
