The “compromise” is a crock of you-know-what; Sellouts on the Senate floor; Show us the bill
Scroll for updates…Sellouts on the Senate floor 7:30pm Eastern…

Gold-plated poop.
Details of GOP Sen. Susan Collins’ “compromise” “stimulus” proposal are coming out. This is a Mt. Kilimanjaro-sized crock of you know what. Total cost of this “pared down” bill is $1.175 trillion.
Let me repeat that: $1.175 trillion.
This figure does not include the nearly $50 billion added in Senate amendments during the last two days.
So in the name of fiscal responsibility, Collins and the B.O. Republican contingent are selling out America with a plan that costs $7 billion more than the House Crap Sandwich Supreme.
Are we ready to say the F-word* yet?
(*Filibuster)

Oh, and one more thing. Sen. Levin vows that the few cuts that have been made during Senate debate will be restored in the House-Senate conference.
Stimulus kabuki theater plays on….

Update 7:30pm Eastern. Sellouts are on the Senate floor. Harry Reid praising Sen. Collins.
Where is the “compromise?” Who has seen it?
When will the voters who will pay for it get to see it?
SHOW US THE BILL.
No backroom deals before a vote.

I left a link for translating
After reading the article concerning states seeking to reclaim sovereignty, this debacle being carried out in Congress and the Left’s blatant attempt at Nationalizing business and Socializing the country, maybe a new civil war is not such a crazy thing anymore.
When the traitorous bastards, who are selling this country out, are dead and gone, which I hope will be soon, our children are going to have to mop up this mess.
This is what the sheeple has bestowed upon us. Yes, the idiots who elect liberals are responsible. They too have sold out their own kids. Scumbags all of them.
Good morning folks;
It’s good to see that everyone is still pissed off this early. I like what I’m hearing from conservatives around the country, but let’s not talk about a new civil war.
Obama and the Palosi Congress have obviously overreached their power. Their approval ratings are dropping daily and it’s only been two weeks. They miscalculated. They have no idea that there are so many of us true patriots out here.
Pat Toomey, get ready! This is one Pennsylvanian who will vote for you as I did in the primary last time you ran; I think this time more passengers will drop off the Specter express since they realize they are not just heading towards a crash thinking at least he’s the most experienced option; Specter has crashed us head-on and they are sorry they apathetically trusted him.
I have been busy and not posting. All this bill will result in is 11% unemployment, 7-11% interst rates, a matching rate of inflation, a recession that will last 3 – 4 years longer than needed and a national debt two to three larger than today’s bloated amount.
The economy will cruise like a ship with a sea anchor deployed.
All because the Democrats was to pay off their constituent special interst groups, get their pet projects they here to fore gcould not get, grow government and keep us dependent on it. What Republicans are thinking is beyond me. They are clueless.
And P-Obama will be on primetime TV on Monday to angrily express his demand that the bill must be passed to save the Country.
And the msm and the dum-masses will believe him.
Hey Michael Steele, you gonna run any airtime to combat this?
Somebody’s lying.
Isn’t it more like 80%
spendpayback and 20% tax cut?Somebody’sThey all are lying. The whole country is getting a bad case of BO.
Wotta stink!
Ya’ think the tax refunds that go to those who pay 0 in federal income taxes are called tax cuts, or, as they should be, spending?
BBO, Beyond B.O.
I agree…should be in every editorial of every rag, from sea to shining sea.
(holding my breath…turning blue…)
I say lets not wait for the elections, I say expel them from the caucus. But that is just me. And I say let the leadership no, Snowe and Spectre remain in the Republican caucus, ZERO bucks for the national party.
That’s exactly right. It is a 80% spending bill. Damn the MSM for reporting lies.
know, not “no”…
anyone besides me ready to just throw up your hands and leave the country? This isn’t a Susan Surandon, Cher, I just don’t like who was elected. This is a complete belief that the ship is sinking and there’s no way to save it.
Yankee, with your permission, I would like to email your post around to some family and friends. People have to understand they are not alone in their frustration and rage.
Looks like Count Changeula (”I won! I am the One!”) wins, thanks to RINOs. Something tells me this may become a pattern. Didn’t Spectre run against a strong conservative in the Republican primary a few years back and Bush did everything he could to defeat the conservative? My memory may be in error (I’m confident someone will inform me if I am), but if not, George “GoodMan(TM)” Bush strikes again.
Of course, the problem is what do we do now? I’m reminded of the times in Middle East whenever Israel won, the Arab streets would be filled with screaming “students” demanding to know: “Where are the Arab armies?!”
Well, that’s their problem. Right now we have one of our own: where are the armies of Conservative Lawyers?
Sure. Now, where do we go?
Seriously, this is it. America falls, there is no place to run or hide. Best to stay here and fight back. We did not seek this fight, after all. Morally, we are completely in the clear.
Or, simply do what we can to survive. I think we can all agree that will be difficult enough.
I know Bush campaigned to help the RINO Spectre defeat a real Republican in 2004, Toomey.
Bush 41 gave us Clinton, Bush 43 has given us Obama. Is Obama Jimmy Carter 2.0, bad enough, or something more sinister, “The Fresh Price of Bill Ayers” (and Saul Alinsky).
Is he just incompetent, or evil.
Maybe both.
And Collins and Spectre hand him a win on a silver platter.
Time to give up on the stupid party. What do they stand for anymore? This is the biggest government grab of power in the history of the country, and all we get is a couple of brain dead broads and a ding dong.
When a few of idiot Senators can sell out for goodies for themselves, then you have to say, get the hell out of our party.
Steele has a lot more to do than just find stupid stooges to give them money.
I for one have had it with this crap. You give money, work for the party and this is how they honor their obligations.
If you don’t want to pay to join Rush 24/7 (I’m sure it’s great) you can find AM stations online that stream Rush live. I listen to a station online in Atlanta even though my local AM radio broadcasts live too. The signal is perfectly clear.
I saw your translation link but since I speak Russian I know what you posted doesn’t make sense. Hence the question, “What were you trying to say?”
You posted “прощальный товарищ”.
“прощальный” is the nominative adjectival form of “farewell.” Therefore, it modifies the noun “товарищ” which means comerade. Which by the way wasn’t as commonly used as “гражданин” which means “citizen.”
I’m at work 11 to 2 pm CDT…
I could listen at lunch, I suppose.
Tarpon- if there are no consequences for betraying the GOP, the Constitution, and the country itself, if Spectre and Collins go unpunished for promoting Obama’s socialist agenda, than indeed there seems little point.
Anyone can call themselves a Republican. The GOP was wise enough almost twenty years ago to say “Thanks but no thanks” to David Duke, if they can’t do the same for two Democrats claiming to be Republicans, they are indeed in rough shape.
I will continue faxes and e-mails to those in the leadership. I had no trouble sending faxes.
Not one red cent to a national GOP that would support Collins or Spectre or any other traitor.
Obambi and Pelosi may have over reached but they are doing what they intended to do. If they keep this pace up they will wreck the economy and trash any remaining vestiges of the Constitution over the next two years before we have a chance to vote them out of office.
Their approval ratings have been below 15% for years and they just keep ignoring the expressed will of the people. I hope the majority of the people remember this fiasco in two years.
But, they will have two years to spin this and they may be able to dump the resulting economic misery at the feat of George Bush and those evil Republicans who voted against the “stimulus” that passed.
The American voter seems to be easily mislead. They have gotten away with this stuff before and they may be able to do it again.
If you want to listen to Rush at work for free point your computer browser to http://www.wabcradio.com and click on the “Listen Live” button in the upper right of the screen.
If you don’t have your own office get a headset. If you don’t you will be fired because freedom of speech doesn’t apply to conservatives.
I have been holding out on this kind of talk, but enough’s enough already.
How many times do we have to petition our government to stop injuring us? There’s not just this fiasco, which is a continuation of the fiasco started under Bush’s tenure, but there’s the borders, Ramos and Compean, SCHIP, and the continuing assaults on our liberties by dribs and drabs.
If they’re not listening to us, and do not regard us as more than serfs, I feel it’s time for talk of arms and resistance.
If they don’t listen to that, then what?

All hail Dear Leader
Just as everyone predicted: the Republicans would cave as soon as they got their pork.
To hell they will take us…
Then you will be late getting back from lunch.
P-Obama will be in Elkhart, Ind where the jobless rate soared from 4.7% to 15.3% and then onto Fort Myers, Fla which is another hard-hit city. He will be selling his stimulus package in those two town-hall meetings.
A perfect example of the Dems marketing machine.
Hey Mr. Steele, are you listening?
What Government Economist REALLY have to say about this Pork Spending Feast of President Obama
CBO: Obama stimulus harmful over long haul
Yet for some reason this story has not gotten any real attention by the MSM.
I called Harlet Sphincter and told his office that I didn’t appreciated them spending our tax money even before they steel it…And that he is NOT my definition of a Republican. Being a Texan we are referred to as yahoo’s quite often by the media(Flyover?) but between Sphincter and Jack The Murtha….No disrespect to those who did not vote for these two but Pennsylvania…I’m wondering WHO are the Yahoo’s here?
We will see if Steele will help to defeat Sphincter. We need to call him as well. Anyone have a number?
I’ve posted this before but it needs “repeating”.
Suppose you were an idiot and suppose you were a member of Congress. But I repeat myself.

new Porkulus thread…
Remember the good old days when this sort of thing resulted in angry people waving pitchforks in front of the palace?
contact the members of the U.S. Senate listed below. They include the ten most conservative Democrats in the Senate, plus the Independent, plus a Hillary Clinton’s replacement who showed signs of conservatism. If you live in the states represented by these Senators, please both email them and telephone them!
HR1 is pending approval in the U.S. Senate and they will have just enough votes once Senator Kennedy returns from Florida. If any one of the people on this list votes against the bill, the American people will have more time to see what is in the $800 ’stimulus’ bill, and express their opinions to their Senator.

Is it me, or does that picture look more like a scoop of ice cream than, er, what it’s obviously supposed to be?
Anyhoo, there is definitely nothing “sweet” about the porkulus bill, except for the Democrat supporters and lobbyists who are expecting their payback.
