And, yes, Ayers is indeed the same figure dragooned into the 2008 presidential race in a controversial attempt to use his background in radical politics and a minor acquaintance with Barack Obama to undermine Obama’s presidential run.

So, I suppose according to this logic, thirty years down the road we can look forward to Muslim terrorists being rebranded as simple “radicals”.

Sorry, if I had such a “minor acquaintance” in my background, I wouldn’t be able to get a security clearance high enough to clean toilets at the Pine Bluff Arsenal.

It’s good to know idiots like this have a say in the modern education system.

I caught the tail-end of talk host Dom Giordano in Philly saying Ayers is going to be at Millersville U. and he’s going to try to go up there to ask some questions (of the Administration?), but is hoping to do it in a way not to get arrested…but I didn’t catch the whole story. He was heartened to get a call from a parent saying his son is trying to organize a protest. Another caller offered to go up with him. Apparently it is a state college, but a private group is funding something to do with it. Sorry I don’t have all the details, but if you have family involved with this University you might want to check it out.

I periodically search http://www.supportbillayers.org for supporters from my alma mater. I’ve pulled all my financial support to the school. It was significant. I told the school that as long as these terrorist supporters were employed, I would no longer be giving financial support.

So far, I have 10 other successful grads that have pulled theirs.

Since I did that, the number of supporters has gone from 3 to 8. Proof that liberal stupidity only grows in academia, but hardly ever recedes.

Not so minor. Ayers, after all, wrote at least the first of BO’s autobiographies, if not both.

It’s sad, really, to see how bankrupt academia has become that a punk terrorist could come to be a “lauded educational theorist.”
