The golf cart stimulus can be found in Section 1151 of the “compromise” text and here.

Who’s behind this? The “neighborhood electric vehicles” — souped-up golf carts — that would benefit most are manufactured in North Dakota.

Porkulus: It’s what’s for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the Senate floor.

Does “Shut up white boy” “lady” have her digital TV box for her 62″ TV yet? $650 million for that – I’d just hate to have that TV go black. Or white – sorry for the blatant racism.

I heard on the radio the other day that Ebay is full of these converters by people who bought them to resell and turn a profit.

Nice to see more money thrown down the rat hole on this.

dexter alerius i love your building plan, but you should know by this time that our gubment nonworkers can’t be stuck in no used buildings. when i visited my states building in the capital to pick up tax forms i needed, i found venician style cafe complete with musicians, door handles which cost $500 apiece and were a hot theft item so they were constantly needing to get more. poor deprived government workers.

I’m not real clear on the objections to FutureGen and carbon capture funding. I also don’t understand your interpretation on electric vehicle funding (North Dakotan souped up golf carts?). Why the rage?

I would like to submit my amendment for a measly 50K. This money will be used to build a gun range on my Dad’s property. This gun range will be used by my father, my brother, myself, and any others invited to polish up on their shooting skills. Any excess money, not used in the actual construction, will go to buy as much ammo as possible.

To satisfy demands for diversity, the ammo will not be limited to just “white male constuction worker” ammo. We will include 5.56, .45, 9mm, .357, and just for the lovers of revolution, 7.62×39!

I feel safe in saying that the “federal” government will not miss a paltry 50K. And the roughly 49,000 dollars that will be going towards ammo will certainly help stimulate the economy.

I am from Mattoon, IL. Blago had nothing to do with Future Gen. This was Durbin’s baby. Blago showed up at the rally and put his face on it, but he never once visited here to assist in anything. Not that there is much difference between the two.

Oh yeah, those are jobs the American Idol generation don’t want. Better to create thousand of phony internship jobs so the poor dears don’t have to get dirty.

If thay got hungery enough they would do anything to get money for food. Why am against all this social crap. WORK OR DIE.

I’m starting to feel like a peasant in the Inca Empire. Soon, government employees–somewhat like the ancient Incans known as “Big Ears”–will be coming to my house on electric golf carts, instead of llamas.
