The hilarious thing about this is the fact that the Left mocked and still mocks Joe the Plumber, yet hold this crackhead up like some sort of genius. Absolutely amazing.

My point is that working there two years would put him at 17. No 17 year old is making 30K a year as a manager.

What was your point again?

That friend of mine from University would easily have, if he worked at it full time. If you're a part timer, no amount of begging and scrounging will get you a full timer's pay.

Am I missing something? I read that liberals are acting like this kid did something amazing, but I don't see anything but a foolish child.

First, he's 19 and he worked at McDonald's for four-and-half years? That would put him at 14 years old when he started working. I'm pretty sure that Florida prohibits companies from hiring someone that young.

Second, four-and-a-half years at McDonalds and they haven't made him a shift manager or something like that? I worked at a McD's for two years and they made me a manager (at 19!). If Julio worked so hard, why didn't he get any promotions?

Third, this kid can't communicate. I recognized the words he spoke as English, but I still am not sure what he question was. He wants more benefits? Why? Because he worked at McD's for four years (allegedly)?

The only thing I saw was a child who was practically worshiping President Obama. I guess that's all you need to be crowned a "genius." You can speak incoherent gibberish but if you praise Obama, you're "smart."

The first however-many days of Barack Obama’s presidency have been a study in amateurism.

Many suspected that Obama wasn’t quite ready, but kept their fingers crossed. Optimistic disappointment is the new holding pattern.

What’s missing from Obama’s performance isn’t the intelligence that voters acknowledged in electing him. It’s the experience they tried to pretend didn’t really matter. Experienced politicians, after all, got us into this mess.

Absent is maturity — that grown-up quality of leadership that is palpable when the real deal enters a room…

Lack? CHARACTER & INTEGRITY, more than anything else top the list of what he hasn't shown any. A Democrat friend now acknowledges:

You know, way down deep I was hoping Obama would recognize his leadership responsibilities and see the potential for greatness. But it appears he is what he always seemed, a shallow, self interested deceitful person who is giving this frightening Congress full reign in exchange for his future agenda. This isn't a "bailout", this is a sale ... So, the question "What Price America" seems answered.

These things are staged. I think Julio was selected to ask that question and he couldn't get it straight. Do you realize there is a push for sick pay for parttime employees going on? The referendum was passed in Milwaukee, WI, but it is on hold now because of the stir it caused. Poor dupes that voted for it don't realize that it's a job killer.

if he had been at Mickey D’s that long and hadn’t burned the fries that often

HEY!!!!! I may be the only kid who has ever been fired while working at the McDonalds fry machine station! (long story)

But I was rehired a month later and ended up working there almost two more years. Yes, all the stories about fast food dangers are TRUE. Unfortuantely, and scary enough, me and my friends were your nightmare. But I still eat at McDonalds two or three times a week.

FYI... watch the movie WAITING. Never, never, never, make your wait staff angry........
