Michael Moore’s latest fishing expedition
The left-wing propagandist Michael Moore is working on his next project — a documentary about America’s financial collapse. He’s trolling Daily Kos and Twitter in search of whistleblowers, and has posted a solicitation on his website.
I think it’s fairly safe to assume he won’t be grilling Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, Franklin Raines, Chris Dodd, Bill Clinton, or ACORN over their roles in creating the mess we are in now.
Go ahead. Surprise me.

If you want to give your money to the government for them to redistribute then by all means do so, but let me decide what charity I want to give to.
Not black people, “poor people”. Black people are disproportionately poor. That’s the fact of the matter.
And I’m pretty sure that if you were in the situation that many of America’s poor are in right now, you’d be a bit more compassionate.

Your exactly right, something that is always overlooked, the guberment, that ‘Great Society’ strikes again. Basically destroyed the black neighborhoods, their families and self-esteem went out the window of 12 floor of the project within which they lived. The hundreds of billions of $’s spent on TGS was a total waste, in the end, did one hell of a lot more damage to the poor in America than any good that possibly came out of it.
Seems to be a pattern with the government doesn’t it? Pretend ‘compassion’ while you strip the populace of their God-given rights, their dignity, their money and their freedom. Make everyone equal by lowering them all, with the exception of a select few, to the lowest common denominator.
Get very concerned when the Government talks about ‘Compassion.’

And for the record, I was raised incredibly poor. I was one of three boys raised solely by my mother who would work three jobs just to make sure we had a roof over our heads and food, (no matter how little or bad) to eat on the table. I came from a physically, mentally and verbally, (but not sexually, thank GOd…or at least damn…she couldn’t afford the Co-Ed teenage babysitter, damnit) abusive home until I was finally able to get out at 18 and moved to Los Angeles area on my own.
No one helped me. I asked for no handouts. I asked for no government aid and neither did my mother.
I worked in the entertainment industry for years until I was finally able to put myself through paramedic school and a fire academy.
My background was the EXACT background that Liberals love to use as an example of how hard it is and thus I should have become another parasite on the tax payers.
Instead, what I did was live a life COMPLETELY OPPOSITE of everything Liberals would have preferred.
You had the benefit of being a spoiled brat, thus you don’t have a leg to stand on in this argument. So you assuage your guilt…big whoop. All you are helping is yourself, for what you and your beliefs do is keep people down and keep them slaves. The only differnce is the whip is now a WIC check.

Well, there you have it Omu. Go volunteer in a shelter/soup kitchen, give of your time/money to worthy charitable causes and help those in need out. Get your like-minded friends involved in doing the same. Start a trend. Go for it! Help a fellow human in need out! It’s how movements start that help others.
But don’t expect to make it law that the government mandates it. Then it is not considered charity anymore.

Blacks don’t vote for Republicans because the Democrats keep dangling a carrot in front of their noses. Republicans (the conservative ones, anyway) want them to grow their own carrots.
At least in the case of the conservative Republicans, they have a decent chance of getting the carrot. Democrats have to constantly yank the carrot away (blaming the Republicans for it) because if they get the carrot, they don’t need Democrats anymore.
Why don’t you assuage your heartfelt elitist white guilt and distribute your inheritance to a group of poor people. Then you can be poor and find out first hand what is and isn’t. Put your inherited money where your mouth is.
By your own admission, you are rich and pampered and know little about getting a job and struggling to make payments.
Why should we listen to you? I would be willing to bet most of us were/are less well off than you. We don’t need lecturing from a regressive elitist like you. (Assuming you were telling the truth of course)
Did you ever notice that the richer and more well off a liberal is, the less they give to the poor and other charities? See Gore, Obama, Clinton etc., etc.
Another fun fact: blacks have been the disproportionate recipients of “affirmative action” for ages, yet they still languish in the poverty you describe.
