Yellow is not mellow: Asian-American files $4 billion lawsuit against insensitive Miley Cyrus
Teen pop star Miley Cyrus posed for a stupid photo with her friends making slant-eye gestures.
Dumb, but nothing to make a federal case out of, right?
Wrong.
Leave it to Asian-American grievance-mongers to blow things completely out of proportion.
To borrow a phrase from President Obama’s favorite inaugural preacher, Rev. Joseph Lowery, yellow is not mellow:
Miley Cyrus has said she meant no offense by a gesture that some have construed as insensitive to Asians — but one woman isn’t buying the pop star’s story, and she thinks Cyrus should pay.
TMZ reports that the Los Angeles woman, Lucie J. Kim, has filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of all Asian Pacific Islanders living in Los Angeles County. And she’s seeking quite a payout: $4 billion.
In the controversial photo, Cyrus, 16, is shown sitting on her boyfriend Justin Gaston’s lap surrounded by a group of friends all making a stereotypical gesture by pulling their eyes into a slanted position.
…Kim’s lawsuit, filed Wednesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, accuses Cyrus of a civil rights violation and requests at least $4,000 in damages per potential plaintiff, according to TMZ, which says a representative for Cyrus couldn’t be reached Wednesday for comment.
Litigious ethnic mau-mau-ers come in all colors. You can thank the cult of multiculturalism and victimhood chic for spawning these silly creatures.
Two words for all parties involved: Grow up.

Now, now – it’s way to early to wake Chappy up.
Wouldn’t want to hurt Asian American’s self esteem. If this picture were to get out in the public arena via say, a lawsuit, they may find themselves behind the demographic curves in education , home ownership, income, incarceration rates, drug abuse, spousal abuse, unwed motherhood, etc.
$4billion$$$ is probably not going to be but a down payment to prevent the destruction of an entire racial group by that photograph. $4trillion is more like it.

I am an Asian on the east coast and I am going to file a lawsuit against Lucie J. Kim for discrimination. Waiting to see her settlement before I make my damage amount known. I think I have a case as I have seen the picture too and I am offended.

2. My beliefs are certain to offend many (e.g. homosexuals, atheists, polygamists, tax-cheats, sinners in general). I’m just going to go to the police station now and turn myself in as a potential risk to the sensitivities of others.
3. God is about as narrow-minded as they come. Just look at the first 4 commandments: (to paraphrase) 1. “I’m God and you don’t get another one.” 2. “Don’t make anything that looks like me.” 3. “Don’t mess with my name.” 4. “Don’t mess with my day.” That’s about as closed-minded as you’re going to get. Maybe we should sue God, right?
4. Upon reading the Constitution, I see no government imposed restrictions on liberty in order to protect the fragile sensitivities of all citizens. So honestly, someone just needs to give this woman a little cheese to go with her whine.

I would say that many judges not in their right mind have led the way in the destruction of America.
My guess is that it’s 50-50 whether this suit gets tossed or not.
I would not in the least be surprised if a judge comes to a decision before preliminary hearings, and then simply looks for (a) reason(s) for his decision.
If the plaintiff is felt to be enough of a “victim”, to be enough of a mascot for the “progressives”, statists, socialists, etc; then, the suit will go forward.
On the other hand, if the plaintiff is felt to be insufficiently a victim, the suit will likely be stopped in its tracks, for some reason a judge will think up; and the plaintiff will be thrown under the bus – in this case, apparently deservedly so.
Remember, it’s all, and only, about money, sex, and power.
Miley Cyrus = Cash Cow = Cash Register = trying to turn her into a “slot machine” I seriously doubt pushing your eyes up on the side is life threatening or debilitating to anyone…how many have done this same thing but don’t have a huge bank account to raid?
I have also seen people do it who wished they had cat eyes in fact there was a woman who had plastic surgery until she had cat eyes. I thought that was extreme is that kid going to sue her because she permanently fixed her eyes to tilt up at the corners.

The root of all of this evil is laid squarely on the doorstep of psychology.
That doorway leads into an Alice in Wonderland world where “evidence of injury” is projected beyond tangible or ordinary cause and affect, such as blood actually spilled or employment actually lost or membership actually denied, – to one that allows a psuedo science to declare that there is this invisible ‘wound’ in the plaintiff’s brain.
If the pain of such ‘wounds’ could actually be measured, if their lasting affect could really be enumerated by some magical mental multimeter – we would all be suing our ex girl/boy friends! We’d be suing every doctor that failed to save the life of someone we loved; every mail carrier that brought bad news to our mailbox, every teacher that didn’t give us an ‘A’, you name it. If there really was a way to PROVE such ‘injury’ all these pseudo scientists would be out of business because nobody would need them to get on a witness stand and LIE.

nowhere does Michelle advocate law suits when she was writing about Rosie.. She has stated Cyrus is an idiot for what she did… the same thing was inferred when she commented about Rosie. The issue is the lawsuit…. perhaps your voice should be stilled until you read with clarity before speaking.
Only if such speech does not commit the cardinal sin (capital offense?) of offending anyone can it be tolerated. Just don’t try to sue them for insensitivity to religion (unless it’s Islam) or for their often crude, TRULY insensitive lyrics and behavior. It was then, and always has been my understanding that that sign has not so much to do with the devil, but rather indicates that the one (cuckold) over whose head the sign is made has been cuckolded, and thus is horny (Italian “cornuto”, Greek “keratas”; the “horned one”).

The people that win out in all these frivolous lawsuits are the lawyers, who then turn around and encourage even more of this behavior. Not all lawyers, mind you, but enough that this creates a mess of a civil legal system.
The best thing that can happen here is to have the judge laugh this out of existence.

What’s tragic is how Asians have been so discriminated against they haven’t been able to make it in America. I was just mentioning this the other day to my female Asian-American doctor, dentist and lawyer. (OK I didn’t mention it but they actually are females of Asian heritage. And their combined IQs exceed Obama’s entire cabinet several times over I think.)
