It appears there are still 7 patriots left in the Democrat party. They probably need to start watching their backs!
Is Gutless Punks too strong a term? One does not wish to seem harsh, does one?
(Too many old movies I guess)
Collins voted yes.
Via the FReepers – Collins voted aye.
Specter sold out as well – there’s the 60 if all the ‘Rats hold together.
And with Snowe, that’s the 60 without the in-transit Senator.
Ok, Steele, how about now. Get rid of these traitors.
Ah yes, Susan Collins who talks like a 2nd grader, and is about as irritating as you can get.
I can’t stand that woman. What part of her is actually Republican? Because I can’t seem to find it.
Check that; forgot Kennedy was in a Florida hospital. Still, that will be 60 Senators.
The lat time I was at Mr. Steele’s website it was offering a GOP valentine.
Really important right now huh?
Want to know what’s really going on here?
This is how they think…
A public display of conscience by 7 members of the Dem caucus who won’t vote yes on blind faith… or just a simple recognition that Porkulus stinks?
Bummer.
Specter, Collins and Snowe all voted yes… Idiots!

Who wants to bet that Specter, Collins and Snowe emails/faxes/VMs/telephones were way on the NO side but they voted yes anyway.
I will contribute and volunteer for any conservative that mounts a primary challenge to Arlen Specter.
Forget about those 3 turncoat Republicans. Were ther NO donkeys with the guts to vote NO on a bill they HAD NEVER READ!!!!!!!!! I’m going to have a Howard Dean moment…
I think a line has already formed based on other bloggings.
The Communist Party USA wrote this bill.
And a Communist POTUS and Usurper-in-Chief will sign it.
I’d rather spend the next hour listening to fingernails on a blackboard. She is so strange!
Just how long does it take to count 100 votes?
the next parade in Bangor Maine is going to be interesting. It is still legal to carry signs, right? Maybe we can organize a large group that will turn their backs as our esteemed Senators walk by?
On another note, Snowe introduced Sarah Palin when she came to Maine. Wonder what SP thinks of her, now?
That’s it then.
RIP USA.
Does that mean he will vote aye?
Duh.
ITookTheRedPill said: “This is how they think…”
I agree and they actually think that the great wealth they refer to is just floating around in the air and somehow they are just not getting their fair share of it. Eventually they will find out they are wrong about the source of wealth but it will be too late.
Does anybody have a sub-total so far?
Have you heard that there was a letter from China saying that they “hate us” for what we are doing. And they won’t loan us any money. And they don’t have any faith in our banking system. Wow. Now what, Mr. President? Someone mentioned an idea a while back…All the conservatives should get their own states and let the liberals have their own. And see who does the best. If they give the conservatives middle America (which they no doubt would be happy to do!), we could do very well, thank you. The farm/dairy belt of the midwest can survive without all the loonies on the coasts. And if we want citrus, we can import, or grow our own in greenhouses. I say we would prosper because we have the good old fashioned American know-how and work ethic!
57 aye
By the way, after they get done printing out all the money to pay for this abomination, a loaf of bread will cost $50.00.
Head on chopping block,
sword raised,
waiting….
waiting….
http://www.StimulusWatch.org has great info about the Stimulus Bill projects sorted by state.
Looks like Senators Snowe and Collins sold out cheaply.
The projects for the whole STATE of Maine total $219 Million.
Compare this to the $1.1 Billion worth of projects for Nancy Pelosi’s CITY of San Francisco.
happyscrapper, I’m just glad the conservatives are the ones with the guns.
Hummm
Kennedy not voting today.
Gregg voted no, which we didn’t have last time.
Brown +1 aye = 58
Hummm
The D’s will get 60, which is all they need.
Gillibrand hasn’t voted yet. Is it possible she’ll vote no because of HR 45??
I feel sick.
Holy sheet Florida with 1751.
Texas with 1240.
Illinois with 1031.
West Virginia with 1.
Is Washington DC a State?
What a stupid, stupid, woman. She’s too stupid to breathe without help. Who? Why DiFi, of course. That silly cow has divulged the existence of a secret drone base inside Pakistan.
You think they would spend the tax dollars to do this for a Republican?
Riiiiiiiiiight.
I didn’t seen any entry for NH – the only state not on the list ??
Payback for Judd Gregg’s departure??
This sucks, but at least the Demonrats own it. The 3 RINOs are making (appropriately) jackasses of themselves. Contrary to what BO claims, the country is NOT behind this mess, and there will hopefully be a major backlash in 2010 at the polls. HOPEFULLY.
Forget that Michael Steele nonsense. It’s time for someone with principles to lead us into the streets.
All the reasoned talk in the world didn’t stop Osama Obama and his criminal cadre from destroying the USA in one fell swoop.
We don’t need calm analysis. We need to fight with every legal means possible, no matter how extreme. Obama must be made to pay attention to those who don’t want their nation to become a third-world cesspool like his birth country.
Yes, I believe more suits must be filed until SCOTUS demands proof that Obama is Constitutionally eligible for the job he is so thoroughly messing up.
I hope all GOP monetary donations cease immediately.
I for one will not give them a penny as long as I don’t hear anyone calling for no more GOP funds for these 3 jack-asses.
I once used to be proud of my country.
I was once proud that I served in the Army for 24 honorable years.
Now, I would be ashamed to wear the uniform, sworn to uphold these violations of our rights taking place in the house/senate and executive offices.
I will not raise the flag of the former USA, until Obama proves he is eligible to be our president and commander in chief….not our “Kenyan Bastard in Chief”
Gillibrand +1 aye = 59
Who is left?
Martinez no
Amen to that! And we’d better hide them good!
Michael Steele Issues Scathing Response to Wayward Senators:
It is impossible to convey the passion and outrage roiling and churning in this man’s heart. Tell it like it is bro!
While we’re waiting for Brown to show up, is anybody interested in a searchable copy of the whole thing? I see ReadTheStimulus.org doesn’t have a searchable copy up yet, but I do have one ready to go.
Bayh, Brown and Gillibrand are th 3 remaining.
Our new flag
Might as well get used to it.
I’m going to get to work paying off my portion of the burden. Perhaps I can earn my Order of the Red Banner of Labour
Good thing I studied this stuff in college. I kinda thought it would all go to waste after the collapse. Who knew we would be living it a little more than a decade an a half later?
I can’t wait to get the next fund raising letter from the RNC!
$99,600 w/2 jobs
WTH ???
If they were not destroying the country, you’d have to admire the party-line discipline the Rats have.
We can only dream that the GOP Senate might mimic that.
I can’t wait for the next one from the NRSC, Phil. The House did stick together in opposition.

Same reason McCain had a trip to Switzerland scheduled in early February (he was assuming he’d have the nomination wrapped up by Super Tuesday February 5th, but had to delay that trip a month as he continued to battle Huckabee).
The globalists behind the takeover of our government are based in Europe. This is Pelosi’s victory party with them, and they will plan the next steps.
Seriously.
Democratic Socialist Communists, the “Evil Empire”, are in control of our Government.
steveegg; good for the House but I distinctly remember the RNC telling the House members to look elsewhere for funding. I’ll give to individual Congressmen.
Gillibrand aye.
So much for stopping it.
Figures the RNC would cut off the group that actually acts like Republicans.
Having re-read my last post, here is what it should have said:
steveegg; good for the House. I distinctly remember the RNC telling the House members to look elsewhere for funding last fall. I’ll give to individual Congressmen if at all. I live in CA where there are lots of Republicans but no Republican Party.
We should all fly our flags at half staff. America finally died today.
Bayh – aye
Heath Shuler, NC is a Democrat who is only in his second term and represents a district that was Republican for 16 years prior to Shuler’s win.
He voted “No” not becuase he disagreed with the bill, but in order to keep his seat in 2010.
What disturbs me the most is that in all of the pork laden amendments and earmarks of this ’spendulus’ bill, no where was there any consideration for assistance to the Veterans, homeless and/or disabled, who have given so much for our country. The VA is over their heads, with too many severely wounded, as our combat corpsmen and doctors can now do so much in the field to save a life. Our veterans with severe mental hardships are left to fend for themselves on the streets, sleeping in boxes because the VA can’t afford to help them. Thank God for at least NYC’s heart felt response, obviously the view of the Democratic Congress is that a mouse deserves much more consideration than a veteran – Thanks You Congress!
The whitehouse is supplying an airplane for Brown…..it is at least unethical if not illegal for taxpayer’s money to be spent in support of a bill that the majority of taxpayers don’t support. What in the name of decency is the mindset of this so-called President? Two or three times every day Obama proves just how rotten he really is. Any lawyers out there who can inform me of the legality of this “airmail delivery” of a deciding vote by a president?
Happyscrapper
Ummmm, don’t worry… down here in Dakota county, there are many like me who are well armed , and, if I may say, quite cerebral to boot. That, dear lady, is a dangerous combination but well used. Oh, and most of us have jungle, urban warfare experience not just training. Piss off a Vietnam vet, liberals, at your own peril.
Thank you SeaDog for reminding us.
It dies when we elected that idiot Mccain in Primaries.
I wrote them with the same message, If they want my money (if I have any left) don’t expect it thru RNC if even one dime is allowed to any of these three. I told them to pass this on to the three so that they realize the real consequences of irresponsibility!
Harry Reid knew what the vote would be before the voting began. Obviously, he couldn’t possibly know without backroom arm twisting and deal making. I wonder what Collins, Snowe, and Specter were promised for their votes? What a breath of fresh air it would be if the senate just once had a vote in which the outcome wasn’t known in advance. If that ever happened, then we would know that it wasn’t the result of corruption (=equals dividing up the pie). I never thought that I would ever start loathing my government….but now I do.
I don’t know what the Wonder Maine Twins got, but Specter got $6 billion in cancer research.
As for having a vote where the results aren’t known, that would violate the first rule of politics – never call something for a vote that you don’t know what the final fate of the bill will be.
I read post # 50, and you seemed lucid, in touch with reality, and then on post #57, a mere 9 minutes later it’s crazyland. Your way beyond the reach of black helicopters so nothing really to worry about.
When Michael Steele need to show us he is serious. When he stops funding for Collins, Snowe, and Specter, then I will start giving to the Republic party.
Gees, my posts are becoming unreadable.
I need some anger management.
David…I think I love you too.
Thanks for the clarification steveegg. I’m a novice at politics…grew up in Idaho during times when it wasn’t necessary to try to sort out all the game-playing of politicians. I’m still blinded-sided by some of the crap that happens these days.
We’re all blindsided at times, nuss.
Family Man #74
Not one read cent unless treason has consequences.
Black Friday the 13th.
The day the Republic died.
The House Blue Dogs barely barked.
Only 7 voted against Obamunism.
After Rahm gets done with the census and redistricting, the fairness doctrine silences talk radio, and the Democrats legalize all the illegals, it won’t matter who the next RNC Chair is.
Sorry, Mr. Franklin.
Don’t feel bad I am having the same problem too! I have made Mrs. Boomer a little unhappy with my liberal use of flight line language today.
The one constructive thing I did today to cover for my “Tasmanian Devil” personality flaw was to pick up the last piece of my Valentines gift for my bride at the local gun store. Nothing says I love you like a box of .357 ammo (last box they had), and shooting accessories (bought a middle of the back holster, 3 speed loaders and a double pouch) for her Ruger SP-101. I know I know I’m an incurable romantic.
I’m glad Walt Minnick had the good sense to vote against this thing. I’m sure Queen Pelosi understood he would be the guest of honor at a necktie party when he returns to his home district. I also want to give him credit for having a better plan the spending bill as seen over on Hot Air. Thanks to Allahpundit and the good Captain for putting the word out.
ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒE (mo-lone lah-veh) Translation: Come and take them!
Romans 8:28 We know that all things work toward good to them who love God, for those who are called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
We need all Prayer Warriors to report for duty now.
There are 59 projects slated for the city in which I live. And not a single one of the things on the list has ever struck me as needing to be fixed. The disproportionate amount of road and construction projects is staggering – I guess there will be enough jobs to keep the illegals around for a long time to come.
Tonight, Lachesis has stretched the thread of life for this country and Atropos is waiting on the final Senate vote to cut it. Judging from other posts here and elsewhere, Alecto, Magaera, and Tisiphone are just champing to do their things. I do not think anyone knows what is awaiting to visit us in the United States. Don’t worry about the four horsemen, the unleased Furies will make them seem like children.
southcoast,
What President Ronald Reagan called the “Evil Empire” is not just about the Soviet Union/Russia. It’s about Socialism/Communism in general, in any country where it operates.
The “Evil Empire” (the Democratic Socialist Communists) are indeed in control of our government. And while they completely own the Democratic party, they also have a significant presence in the Republican Party.
Maybe you don’t have eyes to see that McCain is with them, not us, but he still has to maintain his “cover”. If it had come down to John McCain being the necessary vote to put this over, he would have shown himself (once again) as part of the “dark side”.
Sorry if you don’t see it. I do.
Please explain to me why John McCain had a trip to Europe planned in the middle of primary season, a trip he had to delay when Huckabee didn’t quit as McCain had expected…
You can count on me!
I choose not to play anymore. I will earn (or at least declare) the minimum I can get away with. I will not take out any loans or build my business. I will save cash and gold and wait. When someone in authority starts to speak of self reliance instead of slavery, of personal responsibility instead of government handouts, of the moral responsibility of living without putting your hand in someone else’s pocket for retirement, medicine, food, etc, or says that government can’t help anyone without hurting someone else, maby I’ll return. Until then I’ll provide nothing for the moochers and looters.
Who is John Gault?
Since the voting is still open, could Snowe, Collins or Specter still change their votes?
+1 tre
Dream on ! Why would they ?
Won’t happen vsatt. Watch what happens in their districts in coming months.
How about praying that Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown is delayed for some reason and doesn’t make it in to vote before the vote closes at 10:30pm Eastern?
(although Reid would probably keep the vote open as long as necessary).
I know it’a a long shot, but I’m looking for any reason not to give up hope.
And the only other chance I would see is if Brown didn’t make it for the vote and I’d rather not go there.
The plane could be diverted to another airport. Beyond that, I won’t go any further.
They shall go down in history as some of the most reviled lawmakers in American History. They Suck!
nlebou, I doubt they’ll see any rewards anytime soon. I’m sure their earmarks are conveniently set to be implemented way down the road so that when they each come up for re-election, the people will be mad that they haven’t seen any “stimulus” yet and the Dems can claim that the turncoats haven’t done anything for their people. Then once a Dem gets in their seat, voila, all funds will be magically released and the Dems will be the heroes.
Did Michael Steele get right in line with the traitorous 3 or Obama?
Photoshop of the day from ATR
I am seriously considering moving to Pennsylvania for a few months just so I can vote against that fool Arlen Specter in the primaries in 2010. This may sound like a lot of trouble but by that time I’m sure we are all going to have plenty of spare time to devote to our causes. Let him get out in what remains of the private sector and scrounge out a living like the rest of us.
Needed: Victory parade.
Where: Seattle or Portland, or some other place with tall buildings and grassy knolls.
For whom: Guess…
