1,500 bags of pork rinds for Schmucky
Last week, I noted Kentucky radio talk show host Leland Conway’s campaign to send Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer bags of pork rinds in response to his arrogant claim that Americans don’t care about the pork in the trillion-dollar-porkulus.
Guess what? Conway’s call produced a mountain — an estimated 1,500 pork rind bags that will be packed up and delivered to the Schmuckster’s office. Yes, they care:
Guess he’ll just dismiss Central Kentucky taxpayers as more of the “chattering classes”…

He won’t care. Unless it arrives just in front of a news crew, he won’t even acknowledge it. After all, they were sent by Bible and gun clutching hillbillys from Kentucky. Does anyone think for a minute that this New York Liberal elitist gives a rats butt what they think?
Hopefully, some news people cover the delivery. Otherwise, it will be ignored by Schumer. “They won” and now the American people will pay for it, in other ways too, than just money.
Maybe someone should call a News Crew and alert them.
And that famous check bouncer, Chuck Schumer,being humorless will probably accuse them of being racist rednecks for sending pork products to someone of the Jewish faith.

The presentation of the bags of pork rinds should merit at least as much coverage as pink-lingerie wearing hags with shrill voices and bedsheet banners. That is, of course, if we could count on media coverage to be fair. But first, the MSM would have to admit that Schumer said that “the American people don’t care.” I have only seen it on FNC and heard it on talk radio, so I don’t know for sure how widely known his snark is.
A bit off topic, but not entirely…I have been noticing more and more that the liberals use the “but the republicans did it” argument whenever they are accused of deplorable tactics. This seems to be a big talking point argument with them and it is unbelievably tiresome. “The republicans did that for eight years. Now, we won the election. It is our turn.” Yet, Obama ran his entire campaign on “CHANGE”. What is wrong with this scenario? The libs are going to change Washington by using blatant corruption, then say “Why are you complaining? The republicans did it for eight years”? After hearing this over and over this weekend, I now know for a fact that every liberal in this country has their heads attached to the wrong end of their anatomy.
People like Schumer, Murray, Pelosi, Rangel et al should never be permitted in elected office. They are dangerous as well as incompetent. Can we please institute a civics and literacy test for all voters and especially those running for elected office? Economic literacy at least? Dang!

As I recall, voter literacy tests were implemented after the Civil War to prevent freed slaves from voting, leading to an ammendment forbidding it.
Be careful what you wish for. If implemented now, the test would be written by our distinguished congress, and would mandate illiteracy for voters. (i.e. if you can take the test, you fail)

No, I’d love to say yes, but no snowball’s chance in hell. First, the MSM is too flush with their MAJOR hand in making a righteous and compassionate “historical first”, second, they’re too damn PC to go after him like redneck wolves, third, Obama’s base race constituency will have all Repubs and Bush to blame for leaving “such a mess” for Obama to pick up (and yadda yadda along that route) and Dems aren’t going to disaffect that, and fourth, Obama’s the foot in the door for libs to utterly crush Repubs and the effect of conservatism on this country hereafter just by a tide of legal (and illegal) numbers so they’re not going to tear down their best chance. In twenty years they’ll repeat with Obama II being a Hispanic Dem (which they are sowing. Hey, will all true Hispanic Americans who want the borders sealed and illegals _thrown out_ please stand up?).
For me these are all academic debates because I’ve really resigned myself that I’ll be spending the rest of my days in Socialist America.

I think he knew he would bring the market down when he release the letter about bank insolvency. Think it caught him by surprise when it went farther than he intended and caused a run that destroyed it. He needs to be investigated and get to sit in front of someone looking down their glasses at him. You will get yours eventually.

This is off-topic but with all the porkulus talk I’ve seen several pics of Eric Cantor floating around. I hadn’t realized it before but he is quite the hottie. If this is one of the new faces of the Republican party, bring it on.

I was hoping there would be more than that..
I just wonder how many true conservatives are still out there. And, how do we find them? And, If they are not squeaky clean, the libs will destroy them as fast as we can produce them. I know we don’t want to compromise our principles. And we definitely don’t want another McCain fiaso!! But finding a true, dyed-in-the-wool conservative like a Ric Santorum or a Bobby Jindahl, or a Sarah Palin might be a tall order.
For the record, Chuckie Schumer, as a congressman, bounced better than 900 checks on the House of Representative Bank for more than $300,000. The scum should be in jail making sand out of boulders.
